You insist on teasing us, good Captain. I want more angles!
Looking good though. What scale was it again that you picked for this one? From the looks I'm going to guess something like 1.5 Steves?
Aye, that is, 1.5 Steve, but she went 40 guns over quota. Now she's some kind of .6 rate or something. And MrBeasty assures me that he's doing a couple shots of her, one with some of the guns firing, so I neglected posting more.

I was surprised and very happy at the a amount of people who voted!
As for the winner, your votes have all been thrown into bilge water and left to swim around for a bit. The ones that managed to climb out belonged to...
The Large, semi-fantasy pirate ship! This ship will be worked on for about a week, more if required. Sorry, other votes.
Halfway through construction, I'll give you another set of voting tables for new ships.

It's hard to tell where the design's going really until the hull's built up a bit more. I'm interested to see how you're going to make it semi-fantasy.
And I'm not surprised it won the poll out of those options, given the fact that about half the ship builds that show up on the forums are labelled as pirate ships. They're rather popular...
I'm basing the ship on Queen Anne's Revenge from POTC, I can't provide a picture ATM, but if you look up Queen Anne's Revenge concept art, you'll find it.

so nice! It looks really good, and I like the color scheme! Keep on with this project man!
I plan to continue it. It may take a while, though, the Swedish schooling system isn't friendly to the idea of free time or breaks, what with 3:50 ends and going to the 21st of December, 3 days before they celebrate Christmas.

^^ I'll trade. You come do my engineering job! No, wait, scratch that. I like the pay.
Looking good, Captain. I like the lamps and your use of fence gates.
Though I have to say the ship you're basing it off - if it's going to insist on having such a huge stern castle can't it have just a teensy bit more forecastle? I don't like these unbalanced designs! :/
I always like to pick out something in particular to compliment so that I'm not stuck just saying 'looks good', but I'm a bit stumped with the forecastle. It looks good! A nice coming together of features.
I might have a listen to some of those tracks later and throw a vote in. Once I finally get around to grabbing fraps (or equivalent) I'll have to get some videos done. I've had the okay from my mate to use his folk band, so it will be fantastic.

Screencast-O-Matic worked bloody perfectly, if you are after a recording thingymajiggy.
As for the forecastle, I really wish that Minecraft had bone-vines, a random scramble of bones that would really compliment the overall idea of a barbaric pirate's fluyt. And I'm wary of installing flaming lanterns after what happened to a Queen Anne's Revenge mockup.
Oh, well. I'll have to wait for them to stop doing this:

Suggestions are welcome, I'm not entirely sure if this design is fitting.

The ridiculous Dutch Fluyt stern is inspired from this:
The stern is still in need of decoration, but it's going well.
Night shot:
More some time in the future, I'm under dire stress at the moment so there will not be as many updates.

I've built the bowsprit in such a way as to illude you poor fools to believe that it is built in two progressively thin parts.
