For ease of reading, I'm adding updates in spoiler tags. Not all updates contain pictures on the go. I'm working on both the story and the outpost at the same time.
"It all began so good. I got a letter from the king to come to an audience. Something about lending my ship and crew for a colony hunt. I got my ship ready to sail in just a day. We left with a whole fleet. We went North. The ground there was full of minerals. Legend had it that the ground was littered with gold.
Then came the blizzard. We got lost in the blizzard. Away from the group. We sailed up a river, seeing the Ice-chunks get bigger and bigger. Then we hit one and we got stuck."
"Seeing as there was flat land nearby, I ordered my crew to make some tents and get a fire going."
"I want to keep the ship intact for when the ice melts. It won't be for a while though. So we have to get to work to make ourselfs comfortable."
Update 2!
We woke up the following day. Cold. The fire was nearly gone. I gave orders to start a mine and build a house by the entrance, sharing a wall with the mountain. I went for a little exploration. I saw animals, we could breed them for food. There was grass enough around. So we could also get a little farm going. We just have to be careful the water doesn't freeze.
I noticed the ground had indeed some minerals. I couldn't wait to get the mining started!
After a few days of hard work, the home was done. Work was slow because we had to be carefull with the tempurature. The mine entrance was done too. We used the cobblestone we got from the digging for the walls. And our last wood for the main structure. The tent's were used for the roof. We made the entrance to the house in the mine. That would be easier for now.
I noticed someone looking at the ship. That was soon, I didn't even send out a pigeon with our co-ordinates? Could this be Lady Fortuna having our backs?

And I didn't put tooo much effort in this yet. Wait and see till I get loads of free time on my hands!
Why thank you kind sir!
Wow, at LAST not LEAST >.<
Thank you!
I'm not sure yet, I'll think about it at work.
I knew that was going to help this story! Thank you.
I can only work out the story now, I got 9 hours of work. I'll try to get working on it A.S.A.P. though.
