First time uploading a screenshot, town center I'm working on.
What do you think?
Edit
Made top paths more narrow.
Changed corner fountains.
Started on the Pub/Inn.
I will still be changing out the cobble paths. I'm thinking stone brick, any suggestions?
EDIT:
Finished exterior of Inn/Pub
Outlined other buildings/park areas
Any suggestions?
EDIT:
Got rid of corner fountains.
Still cant come up with something for the paths.
EDIT:
Added new building, not sure how I feel about it.

This is what I've got done so far and what I will be working on full time until its finished
I Need to get a texturepack, and I'm defiantly going to need to come up with a pattern for the road.
Don't put stone slabs on top of the road, make it the same level.
The stone slabs look fine. making them the same level as the road will make the entire thing look even flatter.
The fountain looks amazing, btw. You should add some trees to liven the thing up.
To cobble heavy. Try removing the corner fountains you have and adding bushes with leafs and then add a tree or two in the corners, and maybe make a pattern in the road since you have plenty of room?

Thanks for the idea about the fountains, I will try it out. I've also been thinking I should do a pattern in the street, any suggestions?
Oh my god this is beautiful! I really love the fountain and the symmetry of the base. The building also looks very comforting haha. It gives me a slight feeling of you being in the medieval times! Very classy and nice.
I'm going to disagree about the use of cobblestone and stone slabs; I personally love them there. Your town center actually looks pretty nice. On the inn, I would use glass blocks instead of panes (but that's just a personal preference). Also, I would add an overhang to the middle, separating floors one and two. You can easily create this by adding stair blocks on that middle line that goes through everything. You could also use upside down stairs right underneath your jettied windows to make them seem more stable.
Not too bad for what you've got so far; if I may make a recommendation, it would be to replace the inn with a town hall or something (which would really just mean changing the interior). In most cultures, inns aren't found right at the center of the town; rather, they're found closer to the outskirts of the town, right near the entrances because weary travelers will find them easier.
Ahhh the texture pack <3 made it 100000 times better. And glad you took my advice on the gardens in the corners instead of more fountains. Looks way better.

Thanks for all the feedback and ideas.
Any suggestions for the pathways would be greatly appreciated.

Any inspirational pictures?
Thanks for all the criticism.
