not EVEN ONE photoshopped version of that picture, can be called decent, these are just PLAIN SILLINESS that comes out of 12-17 year old guys that never did any artistic work and this was their 5th time of starting photoshop, seriously guys, get some artistic sense and then do things like this, this is just unbelievable, and if you still suck at art then you just have to accept the fact that you suck and you will never change it in future no matter how hard you try, you have to be born with this gift of art i am just pointing out the true realistic facts in rather harsh way
but i can say that i respect all of you for wanting to help in any way you could, so good work anyways, guys
edit again: by the way the thing about not doing any artistic work is not true, even if you dont have any experience but you have the gift of art, you would do better than this
edit again: this whole reply i added is ******** because, who cares, i should have let it quietly pass in my mind, sorry
Sooo no one in this thread has any artistic talent?
I agree that not everyone has an eye for art, but then again this is graphic design things are a bit more complicated. You have so many things to work with in photoshop and illustrator that it can get over whelming and you find your self relying on just certain aspects of the program. For instance effects, the most overly used part of photo shop would be effects.
With the logo/banner I did, I spend a lot of time using the smudge tool, line tool, brush tool, eraser tool, and font. The only effects I ever used were for the background.
I was once just like that, using nothing but effects on everything. Practice makes perfect. If you want I can show you works from when I first started, to a half way progression point and to now. You will see that I sucked... Balls, but I got better.
If you had any idea on what it is like to be a graphic designer/artist than you should sympathize with the fact that everyone starts somewhere and just isn't instantly great at what they do.
EDIT/ +1 for at least saying that you should have just let it slide away.
Even though you probably have one already :smile.gif: I just wanted to give this a go XD
Nice! That's a different way to go for sure, I like it.
EDIT/ If you guys need anything else for tonight, I wont be around. Going drinking. I've spent too long inside.
