Now that bundle's what I'm talking about! I'll download it and have a look when I have some time a bit later. There's something about exploring a build that you just don't get from screenies. Do you have a preferred texture pack for them, out of curiosity?
And seeing how many of them there are is making me jealous about how quickly you get them built!
I feel like Pat Rothfuss complaining about how quickly Brandon Sanderson writes books...
I wouldn't consider myself fast. Sometimes I spend about two weeks or so on a single ship, and I've been doing this fleet since November. But again after doing them for a long time, I developed a certain style and technique and now its just repeating that again and again.
About the texture, most of the ships can be seen in default. They don't look that bad in it. I also used a costumized Ovo's Rustic Pack and Derivation. But in general, any of them can work.
Wonderful ships. Can I ask how you make them so fast? Is it just the enjoyment or do you have any particular techniques which make it faster?
I do make them out of enjoyment but I also have a certain guide or way I build them. I am pretty sure you too. After a while of doing something it becomes a natural thing. Since I was doing ships of that particular era, most of them had similar properties and so the build would go a lot faster. But then again I've been doing them since November so I wouldn't consider it that fast at all!
Meh, I hate how the Third Rates in this picture look all flat and crushed. Sometimes rendering with parallel projection causes this kind of weird effect.
On a side note, I am working on a fantasy mysterious and creepy looking ship.
And I am planning to make a Famous Pirate Ships bundle. Lately I've felt pirate-ish!
Incredible ship Sillouete. As always there are too many positives to say, but in particular I like the colour scheme and design of the bow and stern. It's all connected wonderfully as well. It also kinda reminds me of my ship, the Vasa, although the design is about 100 years apart. I suggest making an English and Spanish version so that you could recreate the Spanish Armada from 1588, just an idea you may like.
Recreating the Spanish Armada would be a challenge. Nonetheless I am working on some more Galleons at the moment, so who knows, I might make something similar!
I guessed Chunky. Anyway, beautiful ship. I don't think I've seen anything that's better quality than that in Minecraft.
Btw have you seen my new upcoming ship? I'm using this program called cinema 4d rather than chunky, although it isn't free so I'll probably start to use chunky eventually.

Ah yes I did, very nice. I like the colors in the stern, and how you captured the curvature of the hull. Looks really nice! When are you planning to release it?
Haven't you heard? He enslaves other shipbuilders! Be careful, it may be only a matter of time before he comes for-Ahh! Nooo! AAAAAH!
I think he's just really good at them.

I feel like a pirate now

Thanks if it's yes.
If I helped then please
I like this picture for some reason.
I could send them to you tomorrow.
I like the second one a lot.
Dangit, your sails are so much better then mine.
Thanks! Any color is fine since I always edit things if I need to. I can only control a ship up to 500 blocks.
If I helped then please
I'll post more details on it later.
Yes I forgot to crop it.
I don't usually post pics of my ships out of water and with the sails furled... so here it goes.
I'll post some details regarding the dimensions later as I did modified some things.

Also posted the newest ship, Golden Swan.
Amazing work! I love the detail. The forecastle stairs remind me of my Night's Servant.
Pecuniam! I heard you like decorating interiors >_>
Second here's the Galleon Neptune almost finished:
Third, here's my Napoleonic fleet in formation:
Now back to do some more thermodynamics!
I use Chunky, probably simplest rendering program out there.
Anyway, just posted my newest ship:
The Vasa looks a bit by the head...
