Thanks for all the nice replies, once again. We haven't had much time lately, but here's some quick new stuff.
The screens at the bottom are with Eihort, but since it's not compatible with 1.2.3, it's going to be hard to do some skyline pics (unless anyone has ideas?!).
Also, with the new 1.2.3, we've made some changes to some existing buildings. More about this later.. But.. Wow, we're able to go really high now.
To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.”

Haha thanks. The reference was The Shining (both the elevator and the bathroom).
And here's another video!
Check it out on our channel. Don't forget to watch it in HD!
The third video of our Minecraft City! What do you get when an aspiring architect and a composer team up?
The next video should be more epic again. We've got loads of new stuff and we want to give you a sense of the size of the city.. Thanks to Camera Studio for the camera movements. http://www.minecraft...ated-on-feb-11/
Oh my gosh!! Words don't even begin to explain how much I like this city! It is absolutely FANTASTIC! The architecture is great, the texture pack is great, just about everything is great! I am looking to build a city something like this for me and my friends to play on, can you share any tips with the community? Designs, Art and etc. Also if you are not posting the map up for download until completed could you possibly post the texture pack for individual use? Hope to talk soon.
Thanks! I'll give each (that will be Dydtor) a hug! Haha. It's just the two of us at the moment.
I don't mind sharing tips. To start of, the texture pack is something I want to go after, but we need to contact all people that we used the textures from.. Haven't been able to track down all the makers yet..
As far as art and design goes. We are getting inspiration from lots of art, design and architecture. Look up sites like http://www.skyscrapercity.com/, http://lookslikegooddesign.com, http://www.contemporist.com/. Just to name a few. And of course famous artists we have referred to before. MC Esher, Mondriaan, Rietveld. And of course architects, our favorite being Mies van der Rohe, Frank Lloyd Wright. Louis Kahn. Norman Foster (+ partners). Santiago Calatrava.. And since we're both Dutch, we are inspired by various buildings across the Netherlands.
I could go on.. Also, maths (Fibonacci series for example) and fractals. Oh and music and movies.. There are a lot of movie references. If you want to know anything specific, don't hesitate to ask. We'll be glad to answer questions.
The fourth video of our Minecraft city. A bit more epic this time, as promised. Be sure to watch it in HD! What do you get when an aspiring architect and composer team up? More info and screenshots on our blog: http://highrossferry.blogspot.com !
We want to put it up for download later, we really do. But not yet. We are working on releasing the textures though. But we need permission from one more person. So we'll have to wait for that. (if anyone could send maybe an e-mail address of Jeroanimo who did the HalfCraft textures, that would be awesome).
Here's some more. Not exactly a screenshot, but well..
So I heard they like Server Population?
