Striving for the perfect medieval castle and surrounding village.
I have built many architectural monuments in Minecraft and my projects to build a great medieval castle and surrounding village have been both successful and (if I say so myself) fantastic. I need to know what I should build next. I would preferably like to build something medieval.
To show examples of what I have done and can do I have started with "volvonski"'s map "Fort Casbion" and improved and then taken screenshots. You can find it here in the original form "http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/414793-creation-fort-casbion-v01/". I would like to personally complement this minecrafter for this outstanding building :Diamond:.
A traditional crafting room.
Two obsidian makers using water trapped behind pistons.
Entrance to the forge.
Entrance to the castle.
An outside view.
A view from the roof.
The stairs to the crypt of the ancients.
The entrance of the crypt.
More of the crypt.
Even more of the crypt.
Here are the pictures of the stuff added by July 5th.
You voted in the poll and I have made three peasant hovels. 1 that is a pure wheat farm, 1 that is half wheat and half lumber, and 1 that is pure fishing. The pond and waterfall leading to it were both build by me and I decided to make bread I needed a windmill!
A close up of the new windmill.
Top floor of the windmill has my poor attempt to make an accurate gear system.
You voted for a church and this is the first one of this size that I have built but I am happy with it. Any modifications that you think of just post in the comments.
The inside of the church.
A midair view of the town.
Archery butts (not offensive, but proper terminology).
Combat dummies.
Servants' Quarters.
Entrance to the storage halls.
A small section of the storage halls.
The Guarded Treasure of Ulric. Currently there are only three challenges but I plan to add more.
Challenge 1 - Finding it
Follow small path from church on the side closer to the village
Challenge 2 - Gaining Entrance (NO DIGGING)
What big addition is in 1.7 and what redstone part uses the stone texture?
Challenge 3 - Passing the Impassable Path
Minecart Teleport
What should I build now? Please leave comments on anything related!

What would you suggest that I do to reduce the fantastical elements and make it more realistically medieval?
Thank you very much. What would you, as the original creator, suggest I do next?
