Quite a while ago I made a pixel art of Gold from Pokemon Gold/Silver and I thought I'd show you guys. I've also started making one of the "saving level..." thing on minecraft when you are saving the level.
Today while playing I decided to explore far to the SE of where my castle (in a previous screenshot) was. While exploring new areas, I encountered my first birch & pine trees, my first squid, another surface lava flow, and most surprising, a snow biome.
The surface lava flow. This one is about halfway from my castle to the snow biome, a trip that takes nearly a full day by boat.
The top of the island it was on had a lot of birch trees.
One of several squid I saw on the way to the snow biome. There were 8 of them in two groups of 4 nearby. I have never seen them in any areas existing before they were added to the game.
The snow biome as seen from a distance. The mountain to the right is also covered in snow, as is the top of the cliff to the left.
Coming closer, I see these, acting almost as gateways to the snow biome.
Climbing up and to the right, I then see this:
There is a smallish pit to the left. The lava flow extends down into it.
Finally, no snow biome would be complete without some pine trees.
I'm about to head back as my inventory is full with snowballs. Not sure what I'm going to use them for, other than knocking mobs off ledges.
I went back to explore the snow biome (properly known as taiga), and built a little shelter and boat house in which I could safely leave my boat for the day and sleep in at night. I also went back to gather more snowballs, as I had filled my inventory with them from the 1st trip out to the region.
On my way, I encountered more firsts, at least for me.
My first wolf, seen on the way to the snow biome. Too bad I had no bones on me at the time. He was by himself.
First surface lava lake I have seen yet. Most of my world existed before these were added, and though a few were created underground as a result of chunk errors, this was the first surface one. I was quite surprised that those nearby trees hadn't been ignited by its embers.
A scenic view of the taiga. This was past the lava and water flows in a previous image.
This has got to be the biggest waterfall I have ever seen.
I really like the minecraft letters you have on the side of the building. Very nice addition. I've not seen many people add lettering to large buildings before.

Former admin for the one and only VoxelBox, still looking for where I put that chest, forever punching wood.
These are pics of a city project I am working on at the moment. The city is about 1/20 done. I plan on creating a huge city.
[snip]
This is a wonderful build. I like the way you build the banners at the main entrance, and how you echo'ed the color on the tower roofs. Very well done.

It's too big to fit in one screenshot. Last time I checked it was somewhere between 600 and 1000 tiles long. I lost motivation on it when I heard the server admin was going to put borders on the world because me and a few guys went so far off the server crashed, though.
I started building on the "Amerasteras" seed I saw on youtube a few weeks ago and have been having lots of fun. I play survival single player. I use the gerdoku texture pack, but no other mods or edits.
My base built into the side of a mountain. I used smoothstone because I like the impression that it kinda grew out of the mountain naturally. (I'm standing on a pillar of dirt to take the pic.)
Inside my base at sunset:
Inside my base during the day (I'm fairly proud of the floor here!):
I'm really proud of this onsen!
And I'm really proud of my library. I love the way the floor turned out and want to do it in other rooms now too, though obsidian is such a hassle! (Sorry, forgot to crop out my window...)
This is only my second world EVER and it's sooo different and much more sophisticated than my last world. I owe a lot to everyone who posts ideas here and tutorials on youtube. So creative and awesome!!
cmon now don't rip off quinny's work.
The real creator of this star destroyer is quinny and his youtube channel is:

Now these pictures are from my new game I made.
...and this was just confusing.
sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
My portal room. Not as good as others, I made a mistake of not tiling the room with nether items before I placed a bunch of lava...
However, I still think it looks reasonably well and is really cool. =P
and that's the next pixel art I'm making
A walk up to my door.
Interior.
Wheat farm, fed by hidden water in the walls
Unreasonably long tunnel at level 16
Glass looking out to a spooky cave
and finally, an Unwelcome Guest, really scared me because I have a pressure plate outside, he rang the doorbell though

Speaking of the admin
