We are now allowing discussion in the Pictures thread. The thread is on heavy watch, though, so if the Picture thread rules or forum rules are violated continuously, the thread will go back to pictures only. Please keep it civil!
The following rules will be strictly enforced and warned for:
Do not post "cool picture," "+1," "here's a :Diamond:," or "what texture pack is that?" All discussion must be relevant and worthwhile. All forum rules still apply in this thread. Spam will be warned for and deleted.
Flaming: Telling someone their picture sucks or "that's been posted a million times!" will not be tolerated.
Posting rude, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate images will not be allowed and will always result in a warning or ban according to severity. Quoting such images will result in a warning as well.
Quoting entire posts consisting of several images is not allowed. It only serves to make your post longer. Pick one image out of the post, and delete or take the image tags off of the rest in your quote.
Double posting is not allowed. Edit your post if you've got something to add, or wait for someone else to post.
Please only post a maximum of 6 images per post. Double posting to post more than 6 images is not allowed.
All violations of the above rules or the forum rules will result in a warning, and the offending post will be deleted. If you see a post that violates either or both sets of rules, report it and ignore it.
Hey guys sorry if I have an excessive amount of links :tongue.gif: Can some people private message me and critisize my house? This is my first semi big project and I would like to know what I can improve on. Thanks. :biggrin.gif:
This is smallish version of my pyramid of fire. I rushed it and its not perfectly symmetrical, but I think it looks ok. Its all netherrack since its so easy to mine. The biggest cost is the 25 or so flint and steel I wasted on it. If I go the full height of 64 or more it may be harder to get the materials.
Also I tried 'helter skelter' as a seed and I got craploads of clay. Enough to build a four story brick house. Also has plenty of cactus/reeds. Anyone else have any good seed names recently?
Greetings everyone! This is my first post on the forums, although I have been reading them for some time now. This is my first large WIP. It's going to be a rather large castle. Big suprise, I know. I've built many castles and houses before, but nothing of this size. It's definately not 100% legit. I've been working on it off and on for 3 weeks now and it keeps growing in scale. Right now I've only got the great hall and some of the outer walls. I think it's finally shaping up the way I would like. What do you think?
Still a lot of work to do:
● Build the main gate
● Build the front turrets
● Fill in the courtyard and include a fountain and a greenhouse
● Build the basement for storage and workshops
● Build the library and the grand dinning hall
● Build the bedrooms and (maybe) a throne room
● Furnish the whole darn thing
