So i had an idea for a Doctor Who themed world, so i modded my painting art file, and made 32 paintings and 16 blue wool blocks, and behold tardis!! tell me what you think!
I actually think it's pretty cool, and it's more than the other people on this thread have done so
Really? This can be done in about 5-10 min. One guy is building the Taj Mahal, one made a small castle, one made a FULLY WORKING Tic Tac Toe game, so yeah, no.

This forum is so full of downers. Look, just because someone can make crazy huge stuff does not mean that this isn't creative and nice.
That's like me saying the house you live in IRL is a piece of crap, because after all, someone's living in the TAJ MAHAL FOR FAKS SAKE!
This guy wasn't trying to make the Taj Mahal. He was making the tardis, and he did a good job.
Thanks everybody!! and to those who think this was lame, i totally understand it isnt a giant castle, and there are definitely tons of better creations, this is my first and definitely not my last attempt at dr who objects, thanks for all the compliments, any advice on improvement would be nice, or any other dr who objects ud like seen made!!
What you should do is put a nether portal inside, and then do the interior in the nether, so it can actually be bigger on the inside. You would have to make it 4x4 though.
ya i thought about the nether idea, and it would work because paintings placed in front of the nether portal can be walked through, but i really like the size of a 2x2x4 tardis, it is perfect scale, i don't want to ruin it by taking it out of scale. I also thought of doors as the base, but 8 doors cant be arranged in a 2x2 square. I borrowed a cyberman zombie skin from LukeGhostblade, thanks!!! it looks great, and now i am thinking of a dalek creeper skin, i think it would fit, or maybe dalek skeleton skin that shoots lasers, I dont know, give me ideas!

Props op.
I agree. Plus, not everything has to be 64 blocks high on a 100x100 land to be cool.
Personally, I think it looks better being a couple of paintings rather than dyed wool blocks. Using dyed wool blocks would require the structure to be scaled way up in order to capture the details, therefore making it look out of scale with the player.
This makes me wish that paintings and skins can be saved on multiplayer servers, rather than depending on each user having the same texture pack.
Check it out!

its not impressive either, you just modified paintings, now build it out of dyed blocks, THAT would be impressive.

unless it can go back in time 3 seconds BEFORE a creeper
explosion that blew up my fragg'in house then, i would be impressed
A double resolution graphics pack that stays faithful to the originals.

2 Doc-tors is inferior to a Dalek and a Steam-punk Dalek! http://cdn.walyou.com/wp-content/uploads//2011/01/sewer-maintenance-machine.jpg
