Personally I think that that minecraft is so cubic that modern architecture fits nicely.
I would like this thread to be a lot like the aesthetically pleasing thread where users post their modern builds.

The1andonly, nice! i would add some color or a different material for the lines to be broken up and look more house then rock, but i do like alot! (i used to use 1 material allot also)

But this is Strictly about MODERN, or ULTRA MODERN homes. we are showing architecture under a specif category and it has allot of potential in this game because ,well, since it is based on blocks.

This isn't exactly a modern building, but I consider it modern. My original idea was to use structures like this as the skeleton for a skyscraper or something like that, although I got distracted by other projects and never finished this.

I've seen this before. One of the cooler builds on the forums.

I posted it a while back on beta survival pics i think.
Its really not that hard. Its just 4 helix's around 4 circles alternating clockwise and counter clock wise directions. Super hard to keep track of things while building though.
