Thinking of making a few creeper statues at the entrance...
This is just a proof of concept.
This is the smallest size it can be while the dimensions are still accurate.
Each would take 152 blocks to make.
Any suggestions on what I should make them out of?
Remember...These are "statues", not giant creepers. IE no wool.
Might do a creeper on one side and a zombie on the other...

I say you should make it out of stone with lava for its eyes, without the lava spilling out
The problem with it being half-size is that you can't apply details :sad.gif:
In other news...HAPPY π DAY!!!!!
Oh, someone mentioned they wanted to see my tree farm...
Holds 64 saplings(just a coincidence).
The room is 12x9x11.
The chest at the end is where the auto-cactus farm drops its spoils. The redstone wire lights up when there is cacti to be had.
I'll get a picture when it is full of trees :tongue.gif:

Mossy cobble for creeper statue, plain old smoothstone for zombie?

Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. (Source)
Anything built within Minecraft, using only Minecraft, without using bugs, is legit.
If you don't want to build mob traps, that's fine. Just don't tell us it's cheating.
Your wall design is sweet, I just have one question, from my understanding of it there is a stone wall in between the fire and the wall. How will this light the spiders on fire?

Using cobble means I could get some details in the face that I couldn't otherwise. Then I could get some mossy at the base and some leaf blocks for overgrowth.
It is really annoying making natural bushes and hedges.

You said before that fire was to burn the spiders, is it meant to burn through the glass :ohmy.gif:

Cobblestone? Smoothstone? Mossy/Cobble Mix? Unrefined iron/gold blocks?
>.< The problem with making models of mobs is that there aren't any good pictures of them to reference.

The skeleton image is so small >.<
And what are the exact dimensions of a zombie? Standing side-by-side with one makes it appear taller then I am.

Human (I think) = 1.925 tall = 5ft 11in
let me rephrase.
Exact dimensions of each body segment(head, arms, body, legs) measured in pixels.

The skeleton face can be made at half the block to pixel ratio using stairs and halfblocks.
Zombies too.
Creepers sadly can't.
