My latest, a castle. I'm trying to incorporate a tree like yours Deiscorides, but I'm not having much luck with the leafs.
I use both InvEdit and NBT, I like creating, not spending time grinding for stuff I need.
The upper Castle was built by hand, however the lower area was done with the use of NBT for the major land changes and walls, but the details on the walls and ground are done by hand.
Not much to contribute since i can't screenie things since server's down :/
but here's some REALLY outdated images of a few things I've done there :tongue.gif:
This is my first attempt at a pirate ship. Sails are slightly disproportionate. It does have 18 tnt cannons all wired to a switch near the helm however. This image is slightly out of date, some deck cannons and aesthetics have been added. Constructed using gifted materials on my smp server.
Here are a few pics of my latest lighthouse. It is meant to be a replica of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, however, I did not make the sides sloped as they should be. My first light house has the sloped sides (which you can see in the Old Alpha Thread link above.) I confess, I got lazy. Sloped sides take a long time to plan out. At least this one won’t burn down like the other one did that one time. lol I may use an editor like MCEdit to move this lighthouse to a better looking location. I was inspired when I built it (because I has soooo many buckets of lava in the Nether at the time), and didn’t explore to find a good location at the time.
i live really close to this lighthouse in RL

Cool, I hope I didn't butcher the architecture too much by not making the sides sloped.

Now take that and multiply it by 5.
Impressive, now if you can get it to dock to the Empire State building in samus7694's pics it'd be a recipe for win. (the empire state building's spire was originally to be a docking station for zepplin airships and dirigibles; which was more of a publicity stunt than for actual use)
Don't know whether to feel inspired or scared. My vaguely epic village feels so childlike and simplistic. I'll post when I'm done though. I would like some input whether good or bad.

My epic large pillared underground mining hub now feels like a small puppy kennal compared to this amazing. Im still gonna post it when it is finished though.

Wow, tough stuff to follow here. I'll post mine even though I feel stupid because it's just another castle. You guys have definitely inspired me to build way cooler things than buildings.
