A house I've been working on for quite some time, and I decided that I needed a bit of help with some of the rooms, so I ask you, fellow minecrafters, what do you think of my humble abode?
This is the front of my house. The wooden structure to the right leads to an underground base which is currently unused.
This is what you see when you walk through the doorway, my nice little living room.
Walk straight from the living room, turn left, and kapow, a dinining room with a bar.
Turn to the right and bam. Kitchen.
Enter that little doorway and kablooey. A television room.
Look out of that window at my pool, or an unupdated version of it. updated version will be next, but from a different angle.
Different angle, updated version. I am planning on putting 2 cacti in there.
Back to the kitchen. What is this? stairs?!
The stairs lead to something. The 2nd floor, here is a picture of the birds eye view of it.
There in lies my problem. What should I do with those 2, blank rooms?
But ah yes, the other rooms. Here is my bedroom :
Next to that is my office :
And the unfinished library :
Well that is my house (so far)...
What do you guys think, and what can I do with those 2 blank empty rooms?
If you don't mind me asking, what texture pack is that?
You do know that the portal needs a 3x2 gap and not a 2x2, right?

Support the Allocator! Find my inventions such as my pressure plate removal detector on the About Me page of my profile.
I'm still looking for more feedback on my configurable Redstone Gate mod. All gates and common circuits (such as e.g. clocks, edge detectors, latches and Flip-Flops) in a single block.
the gardens were probably the most time consuming with a total of 8 platforms and 2 floors for each. had to level some mountains there :sad.gif: but i like the end result :smile.gif:
"Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever"
I believe that it is SineCraft, and yes, the mosaic feel of it is pretty awesome. I'm trying it out right now.
Most the time I don't like texture packs that are so simple, but that one is an exception.

I just had an eyegasm
Wait. what?
That's a nice house, but you really could have cut out the first two minutes or so of walking through that long mine to get to the house.
Anyone got any tips? Esp for rounder/more interesting columns and dealing with the wall slope
Going for a Egyptian Look.... doing sloping walls.. and good colums... is a damn pain
(also hope the images work cos the preview was weird)

That makes me feel like my buildings suck even more...
To make you feel better, those aren't pressure plates. Its a furniture mod. It's also how they got chairs to look like chairs.

Woah, what texture pack is that? I'm not a texture pack kind of guy, but that actually looks nice.
If you don't mind me asking, what texture pack is that?
Yeah, I'd like to know as well. It looks nice.
