The Minepick in the center is simple and yet is so amazing...sorry to say good sir, but I shall be using that particular design myself sometime in the future. Thanks for being so talented.
Here's the way on and off the property,a ladder to the water below.
This is the primary hall, which provides access to the entire estate.
My farm, which holds wheat and reeds.
My tree farm, which is five floors high, and the second image shows how high each floor is.
The Reading Room. A place with a beautiful view so you can read books.
My grand library! It possesses a grand volume of books, ranging from topics such as "Affixed to the shelf" to "You can't read this, boyo!"
This is the antechamber to the upper floor. I enjoy the design.
This is the viewing gallery, which provides a beautiful view of the surrounding environs.
This is the Conference Hall. It's large, airy, and quite well done,in my opinion.
This here is the Speaker's Perch. It is where the current Speaker of the Conference stands to deliver their words.
Aah,my bedroom. Quaint,isn't it?
Finally, the bathroom. Literally. I give you what I believe to be Minecraft's first indoor bathtub.
This is my manor, and I will post pictures of the deep sea mine sometime soon. I hacked in the lightstone for the sake of time saving. Everything else is legit.
Also,a quirky fact. Any part of Summermyst Manor that's not in direct contact with the ground is supported by stilts. If the stilts would reach water, they're made of (cobble)stone for one meter above the surface down.
My manor I build as a pet project on a SMP server (with fire disabled :tongue.gif:)
(Images removed)
I'd love to show you more, a farmhouse + barn I built next to them, or their proper interiors...but my server still isn't up from the Beta update :sad.gif:
I really like that style of building. I've been thinking of starting a new world and making a house with a roof like that. I like it a lot.
I stole your idea for a marker to where my base is (under it)
*snip*
It makes a great marker, on one the server I was on that died I designed it as a watch tower/territory marker and I have since used it on several servers as a starting/nearly starting base and point of expansion.
Also, Casemaker that manor is pretty nice. I like the style, I'm just too concerned with practicality to allow myself to build something flammable
And Copeland...
That, sir, is tremendous. I was working on a Colosseum, and mine is nothing compared to yours.
My farmhouse/waterwheel/mill. It's kind of small, and maybe not the prettiest thing, but I like it. Part of a project I'm working on to make a medieval village on a circular platform I made in McEdit.
Front View
This is the Waterwheel. Can't really see it in this pic, but there's fences acting as the "paddles"
The Hearth. Not lit because the place is very flamable and I'm not sure if it's safe... Gonna back up my save and then check.
The dining room and kitchen. You can't see it here, but there's a ladder next to the stove that leads upstairs. To the right is the mill room.
It is pretty nice, nice interior.
But the exterior is a bit wonky for my taste, waterfall thing, big solid block of wood to the right, very woody in general.
Interior is wonderful however.
I was just hoping to find more solid demonstrations of realistic homes for a bit of inspiration.
Wow, oh wow. I love that entrance.

/praise Copeland.
Thanks for the compliments on the interior, and I know that the exterior is god ugly, But I have no idea how to make it better.
Here's a view from outside.

Minecraft is the meth of video games, try it once and you're hooked, and you'll stay up for 3 days when you're on it.
This thread is beautiful, and may inspire others to make their own magnificent homes, and in turn share them, thus perpetuating the cycle!
Any comments on it? :/
I like it quite a bit. Very simple, yet it still looks elegant.
Mind showing off some internal shots?
Heres some. The interior is rather spartan though. The house is only two days old, I havent gotten everything I need yet.
This is the bottom floor/my living room. (Small cottage) Im gonna add some chairs or something I think.
This is the second floor/the loft, whatever its called, up the ladder. Again, not much decoration. The windows give a good view though.
This is my farm. Why am I showing this?
This is my porch/terrace/whatever you want. I study mob habits from up here.
Well, I may just give a video tour after I complete the planekarium, and maybe a cartograph :biggrin.gif:
thank ye
That would be simply awesome ^^
...But that's just my opinion.
