I really like the idea of taking century old traditional characters found on classic playing cards and reinterpreting them as Minecraft inspired artwork (see attached screenshots). I've designed 2 card backs, all the pips and fonts are by hand, and over half of the cards are complete. I have 2 questions though. My first is, if I put this deck on Kickstarter, would anyone be interested in buying it? The second is with the "Element Backgrounds". I am using air for clubs, water for hearts, fire for spades, and earth for diamonds. Do you think these backgrounds are too much and I should keep with the traditional "no background" approach? Thanks for your input!
