For some reason the forum keeps reverting my urls, so be sure you're getting the correct file.
Now includes 2 Nether Themes, an Overworld Theme, Intro, and End Theme, Jungle Entry Theme, and an EnderDragon Boss Battle Theme, as well as a theme for when you defeat the Enderdragon.

I'm not certain where this would fit best, but I'm a music writer, and a couple of my friends on my server suggested I write some music that could be played in the background whilst playing Minecraft.
This isn't a mod or anything, as I have no intention of replacing the music Minecraft comes with.
The music Minecraft has is wonderful, and well written and fits fantastically, but I thought I might try writing something thats a bit more... adventure-y... so I started with a Title Screen bit, and decided to do two themed songs - one for the Nether, and one for the End.
I think you should flesh out these songs a little more.
The music is very Minecraft-like which is what i like to see.
The End music seems a little strange, I think you should re-think it, make into something like "The River of Twygz Bed", which is very fitting to the nature of enderman.

The End is kind of a difficult place to put music to, although the way I wrote The End's music utilized pixel beepmaps, which represents the staticy mess that the sky is, along with a faint intermittent chirp to remind you of the Endermen. The retro chiptune portion was kind of just a design choice, but was meant to sound creepy and klutzy at the same time, as is the Nature of Endermen.
However, I'll be writing several different themes for each area, and I'll give that song you mentioned a listen.
Audio quality isn't as good, since it has nearly 2x as many instruments as the other songs, it was too CPU costly to include all the reverb and mastering stuff I usually have on there. I'll probly make this loop in the future, but its 1 AM and this is a good stopping point.
love the intro song i think it would fit at the beginning of the game
the overworld song is too quiet try to make it louder i barley would realize it ingame
the ender theme would probably fit but i wouldn't want to play the game much longer
the two nether themes i cant come up with anything to say i'm speechless

The Overworld theme is supposed to be pretty quiet, as it should be something that plays while you're building/exploring, but I agree it gets almost inaudible at times.
I'll probably redo the End theme, its a little too creepy.
Speechless about the Nether themes? In a good or bad way?
Included a theme for when you defeat the Enderdragon.
Not really a "Haha I won" kind of song, but more of an "I can't believe its over" type of song, as you approach the portal that will end your adventure.
Glad to see this thread is still alive. I had given up hope after it was sliding to the 20th page or so.
I postponed work on the Soundtrack to work on scripting a player for the music. Since Minecraft doesn't have biome-specific music, I'm making a music player that runs in the background, and uses Keyboard Combos to work, so while in game, if you go to the Nether, you can hit CTRL+SHIFT+N, and it will fade out the current music, switch to the Nether Song Bank, pick a random song, and start playing it. It also lets you specify how long there is between each song.

Tell me what you guys think (and mods, move the thread if it fits better elsewhere)
Should I flesh these songs out more and keep going?
Comments etc.

Huh, weird, if you copy/paste the URL it goes to the new package, but clicking the link takes you to the old one. Gonna try to fix this.
EDIT: Reuploaded, new link is http://www.mediafire.com/?crxj86pq369z11j
If it takes you to an invalid file, try copy pasting the url in your address bar. Should be a 15.22 MB file.
The forum keeps reverting the URL's actual link to the old file; not sure if their server is experiencing difficulties or what.

Also updated main post.
Added the Jungle Entry theme: a shorter theme to be played the first time you enter the Jungle, as opposed to everytime you're in the Jungle.
