Godot has done what nary a man has done several times before.
Now before you all go raging on me saying that there is no way that this could be Minecraft's official boxart, I retort with a simple, "I didn't make it that way." I made this purely as a trophy prize to show to my friends as they stood in awe.
The actual file is set to scale with a standard DVD case, making it too large to upload to any image hosting service. Therefore, I've taken a screenshot of its view in Adobe InDesign. If you would like to download the image yourself to print and brag with, I'll paste a download link below.
It could have a few improvements (like showing off Multiplayer or The Nether, or at least hostle mobs), including "ONLINE MATERIAL NOT RATED BY THE ESRB", but since it's just a fan-made, I'd say 8/10.
Indeed, I thought looking onto your shelves of games and seeing a creeper about to explode your copy of... uhh.... do people still buy PC games on disc?

Perhaps. Were you thinking of something else? -wink- Or perhaps it's just me thinking that way. Why someone would put minecraft with what I'm thinking of escapes me but w/e.
If anyone has the resources, would they mind printing this out and posting pictures of it in its full coloury splendor? I would do it myself, but my printer is monochrome.
I appreciate your well thought out feedback, technological, however if I may cite the first paragraph of my post, "I made this purely as a trophy prize to show to my friends as they stood in awe." Have you ever tried impressing a clique of prepubescent freshman? It's actually quite simple.
Oh yes, and a point of clarification, you can't conform the ESRB rating to the youngest age group that plays it. I rated it E10+ because of the Fantasy Violence.
Lol. Cool, but now if Notch approves that or use it, he should make a Quick Game Guide like other games have it. It contains the serial on the back and you can activate it!

< Dragon Cave! (aid)
Speaking of MC expansions, when Notch announces a few, like "Winter Wonderland" or "Halloween Herobrine, would you make box art for that? :3

In response to Rogue, I'm dubious that Notch will notice this. I don't exactly have "street cred."
