Even yet, he sat and wait, all his life, all the eternity, and still, when he had his chance, he just let it go, like the wind flowing through the leafs...
A long time ago, a group of miners were walking down a recently found hole in the empty hope of finding something precious. They were very tired in the end of the day. One of them said: "Lets get out of here, it is getting late." The group agreed with the idea, and everyone got to their homes, had dinner with their wifes, and sons.
Except for one person. He just sat there, curiously looking for some source of light below the earth. Yet he was crazy, I don't know, but he grabbed his pickaxe and furiously smashed the rocks, without stopping.
The sun bright again, and the group walked in by the cave, expecting a excellent day, finding lots of rare ores and being rich. Near to the end of the place, there were a surprisingly giant hole on the ground. The miners looked each other with curious eyes. Carefully, one by one, they walked into the opening, just to see nothing at all. Empty. Everything black, blank, like they were blind. Everyone screaming, everyone falling, everyone crying...total chaos. They couldn't find the way back, and as the days passed on, they went missing. The whole city was desperated.
Even a week after, when they were all dead by thirst, a very tiny sparkle, really very tiny began to rise on to the middle of the "chamber". The light began to expand, expand, until it could light the whole room. And then, if you were there, you could see the man who caved down, sat down there. He just stand there, all his life, days passed on, months passed on, years passed on, and he still was there, quietly looking to the wall.
Some say that nine decades after the hole being discovered, another group got down the hole, and they saw the bones, and the man who sat, perfectly young. The new group bring on torches to light their way. If possible, the man could get away with the group...But he didn't move.
And even yet, he sat and wait, all his life, all the eternity, and still, when he had his chance, he just let it go, like the wind flowing through the leafs...
End...or is it?

Critics are very well accept, this is my first fan art post, and my first story.
I know that I am not that good in writing, but anyway, here is it.
