I am a very experience Minecraft player that has been playing since the 2nd release of Alpha.
I am well rounded with my experience and I can Skype, MUMBLE, Steam, etc.
I am look for a Vanilla or Near-Vanilla dedicated server (doesn't matter large or big) to have a fresh start on and enjoy survival. That was very summarized. Anyways, that's it.
Thanks,
Deth
(EDIT: On second thought, I'll join any server as long as it is newly open or still indev stages. I have built a lot of the Mines of Legend server and have admin-ed on several others. I will take a staff role if offered. I enjoy building the server before it actually becomes released to public. Pretty much ignore all of the italicized text. It is pretty much worthless now. I am a very experienced builder as well and have done large scale buildings.)
Hi. I run a public server that's as close to vanilla as possible w/o greifing. This means: TNT, fire, creepers, withers, etc. are all allowed for everyone & you do not need to type commands to protect your stuff. Items are not spawned for anyone....

and we're doing a psuedo-map reset in a few days. (Just doing a temporary reset of the barter economy for a month. Cobble will be valuable once again!) Hard to explain, but it should suit your desire of having everyone start fresh.
EDIT:
Almost forgot the IP. survival.kreatious.net
Hiya! Sounds like Reverie could be a perfect fit for you.
We're a casual whitelisted 16+ semi-vanilla survival server with minimal plugins (GriefPrevention, for what the name infers, and DynMap) and a friendly, mature playerbase. At the moment we average around five or six players online at a time, with closer to ten during peak hours. On top of that, we also have a dedicated TS3 server for those of us who like to voice chat.
We also reset our map for the last big update, so there's still plenty of room to build/explore in.

I just opened the newest server to our HashTagHosting community -- Vanilla VIP. It's an 18+ whitelisted pure vanilla server.
I'd love for you to come check it out. Currently there is no spawn built so helping me get that set up would be awesome. Here's the link to the post I made last night: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1599392-hashtaghostingvanillavip/#entry19647930
Thanks.
See you on the map!
