I made a commercial video for them, So their "Server" would be more attractive, And as a builder, I have been busy with a giant project, A big old-asian castle.

(I was halfway done) when they suddenly banned me for the reason: "Attempt to abuse powers"

So what I did was, I removed the commercial as a "consequence" And for now, I'm signing off.

How long have you been playing Minecraft?: about a year now, been playing since the end of alpha.

Leadership experience: Alright so, I have a TON of leadership experience in real life and in game. As for real life I am currently a boy scout working on my eagle scout. I currently hold the Troop Guide position and what I do is keep the younger scouts under control and teach them everything they need to know in order to advance in scouts.
As for minecraft, I have had a lot of experiences in this field. I’ve had ups and downs, mostly ups though! Sadly those servers were shut down due to money problems. I have had admin on many servers and a very experienced builder, very responsible, and fair. I wont run around putting TNT everywhere and so on. But I do love cake….i will place cake randomly in hidden spots for people to find!


I was an Admin of one server. Things didn't work out there because the staff was just... utterly immature. And when I say immature, I mean immature. The owner was 20 but he acted like he was 12. One Admin was 11, another was 13, and another was 14. They all had their moments of decentness of course, but they're the type of people who like to troll other people for fun. They also have a twisted, Family Guy x10 sense of humor. (Don't get me wrong, I love Family Guy, but times that by 10? That's too much.) An example... I had flown far, far away into the middle of nowhere to build a house because I was bored and had absolutely nothing to do. I was making my dirt platform a good distance in the air, when one of them showed up, selected my platform, and changed it to water and started shouting in chat that I was griefing. That was the one that made me quit the server. Gave up, couldn't deal with it. I'm looking for a mature community. Now don’t get me wrong, I love jokes and goofing around and such and I don’t mind cursing too much (I mainly use it to tell stories and jokes and such. Nothing racist) But yeah, looking for a mature but still knows how to take a joke community.

Then, I was a Moderator on another server. One day, I caught one of the Admins griefing someone's land.. while the landowner was right there. He put cobwebs around the trunk of one of his trees, and he made a small obsidian platform and put cake on it. I was whispering the landowner and he was perfectly clear about him not wanting the Admin to do these things. So, I started to do something about it. I removed the cobwebs, then I was in the process of removing the obsidian creation, while whispering the Owner, telling him what the Admin was doing. The Owner ended up telling me to just not get in his way, because in the end, "he's an Admin and you're a Moderator". I said "I don't care if he's an Admin. I won't stand by while he's doing these things to someone's land, which the person clearly does not want to be done." and he responded with "Now you're going against my word", then
boom I was demodded. I pretty much made a -.- face in real life, and I just left. I rejoined a few days later, and was just doing survival. Passively in chat, I said "I wonder if I'll be able to get Moderator back." The griefer Admin, who was present, said "you might if you learn to respect me" I responded with "I can't resect someone who blatantly grieves peoples' things." he replied with "no mod for you then". I said nothing, then about 30 seconds later he said "oh by the way, I talked to the owner and if you keep on I can ban you". I said "Fine. But seriously. Why do you grief people? I mean c'mon. That's just not cool." and bam... banned. I just shook my head and went to the Survival Server list.

That's pretty much it. I've written quite a lot already.. didn't mean to. Meh. Moving on, I guess.

What would you say your maturity level is?: I'd say it's rather high. I -do- have a sense of humor, but I've more or less learned to push it aside when there's work to be done. Yes, I know, it's a game, but I don't take my officership positions lightly. I take them seriously. Almost to be a job. I do what needs to be done, and to the best of my ability, I try to ensure the success and growth of the server, whether that's helping to build a new city, or tending to new server-goers.

Why should you be chosen for a staff position?: Well, I consider myself INTELLIGENT, DEDICATED, TIME-SPENDING, ARGUEMENT-SOLVER, FLEXIBILITY. I'm dedicated to things that are working out.. I have a -lot- of time to give.. I consider myself to be intelligent.. mature.. I'm very flexible. Flexible as if in, my opinions can be changed. With logic. If you ever find yourself in a debate with me, just use pure logic. I'll defend my opinion as long as I believe it's the better one, but the moment your logic dwarfs mine, I'll pretty much instantly switch over. Also on the topic of flexibility is how far I'll help people. If you don't want me using Creative Mode materials to help someone build a project, then I'll switch my mode and just use their materials. If you don't want me helping -period-, then fine, I won't. I know it depends on the server. Each one has their own level of how "hardcore" they want their members' survival experience to be.

It might be wise of me to note that no, I'm not looking to instantly start off as an Admin with OP powers. I realize all too well that it takes just a little time to gain trust. I'm willing to start at the most basic of your leadership ranks... and if you don't have a bunch of ranks (most of you probably won't) then I can even just be a regular Member and be tasked with the responsibility of helping others. Such as answering questions in chat or helping someone build something.

That's pretty much everything I can think of to post. If anybody wants to, you can ask me questions and I'll see if I can answer them. Think of this as a mass application. Oh, and please, on-topic questions only. I don't want to get in trouble for my thread being bumped by randomness.

Alright. From this point on, I'll try to do things in bullet form, because otherwise, I can just ramble on and on and on. Even with bullets, my thought-out posts can get quite lengthy.

How long have you been playing Minecraft?: A few months. Started out in singleplayer, quickly moved into multiplayer.

Leadership experience: Starting with World of Warcraft, almost 2 years ago I would say, I had my position as an officer in a few different roleplaying guilds. I was what many considered to be an elitist... but don't worry. I've softened up a bit since those days. I guess. Let's just say I'm a rule-enforcer. I enforce rules. The biggest thing that's probably changed is how I handle the enforcement. I'm definetly a lot more softer-edged about it.

Moving on, I lead a couple roleplaying guilds of my own. I was always a fan of Military-Style Roleplayer... I was Varlun Mulland, Veteran of the 3rd War, Marshal of the Alliance. Paladin. Ass-kicker. Boy he was so fun to roleplay. At one point, my guild called <The Stormwind Army> reached 160 members. A result of me focusing my pure attention on recruiting. :tongue.gif:

Continuing on me being an officer in other guilds: I pretty much, very quickly, became their main guy. I showed up, joined, they saw me do my thing, and they'd throw me up to officer. The guild grew and gained definition under my officership, until, for one reason or another, I'd find myself no longer in that guild. Usually what it was, was the current officership having issues with the way things were changing. Yes, I was changing things, for the benefit of the guild... my focus was always on the success of the guild. Just like now, my focus is on the success of the server.

However, I'm more flexible these days. I don't really have my own opinions on how a server should be run. I'll reinforce what rules I'm told to reinforce, and what I believe needs to be reinforced.
