Founders:
Owner
This isn’t currently a role that you can apply for. Though you can try.
Co-Owner
Again this isn’t a role that you can currently apply for.
Here is what the Co-Owners are responsible for:
- Running the server
- Documentation
- Working with others on finding the best path for the server to take
- Sometimes Hosting Meetings
- Large amount of management
Management:
Director
What the general role for this rank will be, is handing everything to do with the Staff and the majority of the server.
Again a role that you currently cannot apply for.
Other roles will include:
- Managing Tasks assigned to the Staff Members
- Assigning some tasks to the Staff Members
- Handling Applications
- Handling Promotions/Demotions
- Weekly Reporting back to the Founders
Staff Manager
This role you will be under the management of the Director. The person who has this role will be required to work with the Director. They will also have the ability to take the role of the Director when they are unavailable without question. They should understand what is going on with the Director and take up the role without being asked. It is expected of the Director to have active communication with you.
Requirements:
You will be required to provide a basic level of competency compared to the Director, though advanced compared to the staff.
You will have to meet most of the requirements of the Director but not on an extreme level.
You will have to work independently at times while working as a team when required.
Will be in charge of the staff team in general.
Reviewing applications will not be a major part of the staff manager role.
Social Media Managers
With this role you will be responsible for Moderating the forums and other forms of social media.
The requirements of this role are
Knowledge with the various forms of social media.
Ability to moderate the social media moderately.
Development Manager
With this role you will be responsible for managing all the development of the server and make it in the eyes of the founders, also while using your knowledge to make the various changes required on the server
The requirements of this role are
Ability to lead a team of developers.
Have to might tight deadlines and provide documentation on what has been changed.
Able to keep your team motivated.
Going through interviews for new Developers and deciding if they should be on your team.
Finding new ways to better run your department of the server.
Having to follow instructions while now being afraid to give constructive criticism.
With this role you’re expected to be better with this job than the actual founders. So your say will be taken over the Founder’s in a lot of cases.
Build - Manager
This role has a lot of the same requirements as the Developer Manager except for being in charge of the building that goes on within the server.
Creative Roles (Est: 3-5 Days)
Configuration Developers
With this role you will not be required to know any coding language though, it is recommended that you do, so you can understand error detection.
You will be required to:
Go through the configuration steps as needed for the plugins.
Read documentation and use that to complete tasks
Note down any issues that you have found and were unable to solve
Work alongside the founders on the development procedures
Make recommendations
Plugin Developers
Main role would obviously be developing plugins.
Other roles include documenting their plugin, fixing their plugins if needed.
Develop plugins on request from Management or above.
Graphics Designer
Be able to produce designs that will be required for server events or posts on the forums.
These may include Thread graphics and posters to help post events.
Story Writer
Responsible for writing awesome stuff for the server, whether that is a backstory or a storyline for an upcoming event.
Must be able to work in secrecy surrounding certain projects that are going on at the moment.
Website Developer
Work on the website to make sure it is working properly and adding new features when necessary.
Edit the design of the website, adding new sections and make sure players can access each section of the website with ease.
Staff:
Administrator
Promotion from Moderator.
An Administrator updates the community in the discord or the forums.
Also responsible for keeping the community engaged and interested in the server.
Their biggest role is to manage the server.
They are superior to helpers and moderators and get all the same perms plus a few more.
Moderator
A promotion from Helper.
Their main job is obviously to moderate the server, through watching over in-game chat and the actions of players.
Also there to look for rule breakers.
A big part of their role is also to be there for those people that need help.
Helper
- The beginning rank in our Staff system.
- Main role is to play on the server and be active, helping players with whatever they need.
- They also will need to report any problems they discover to Moderators or Admins as well as being capable of handling some of those problems themselves.
- Have restricted permissions compared to Moderator and Administrator, so more detailed situations Helpers may not be able to be able to deal with on their own.
- They can also look out for and report bugs and glitches.
