3:18 P.M.Location: 27 miles South of Seattle.As you're walking north along a desolate highway to a few hundred meters ahead you can see 2 large black birds circling in the sky, to the east a few miles off large thunderheads can be seen. Hopeful to avoid the storm you begin to walk a bit more briskly scanning your area to find shelter from the rain. You observe a small light grey smoke plume coming from the median of the highway only a couple hundred meters away. Before approaching the scene you take a quick look in your bag (below is a list of your items). As you approach the scene you can see that it is a Emerald Trading Company Caravan that has been hit, the merchant lies dead near a slaughtered Brahman blood covers his clothing and a box of items is scattered near him. Of the two guards, one lies near a jersey barrier; empty shell casings from the cowboy repeater are scattered around the body. The other guard is struggling to pull himself upright using the one of the carts wheels, his leg has been blown off below the shin and is now nothing but a bloody mix of singed skin and asphalt.Bag contents:1x 10mm Pistol7x 10mm Pistol rounds1x bottle of dirty water2x mentants1x salisbury steak1x Squirrel on a stick1x small radio (working)1x stimpak1x Half-used first aid kit (missing supplies)What do you do?:
I walk up to the guard and help him get back up on his feet, er, I mean, foot. He groaned and thanked me for helping him. I look in my first-aid kit and bandage his leg, and inject him with the stimpak.
Guard:”thanks kid. i was almost a goner”
Caleb:”No problem, Happy to help. Do you know who did this to you?”
Guard :”No clue. i never saw the faces. i was the front guard and they attacked from behind us.”
just then, gunshot fired in the distance as a swarm of raiders attack. Caleb draws his weapon and aims. the guard reaches for his weapon and attempts to fire. Caleb shoots and kills 5 raiders before running out of ammo. the guard kills off the last 4. Caleb sits down near the guard.
Caleb:”phew. what a gunshow. Did we get them all?”
Guard:”looks like it. i don't see anymore”
Caleb:”okay good. i ran out of ammo. It would be a shame if something were to happen to us”
Guard:”yeah. Thanks again for healing me up.”
Caleb:”No problem. If its not to much trouble. Where is the nearest town?”
Guard hands Caleb a map to the nearest town.
Caleb:”Thank you sir. i wish you luck.”

Caleb was born in Vault 92. At a young age, he was fascinated in electronics and energy-based weaponry. He also enjoyed unassembling his toys and constructing new ones from the parts of his previous, now non-existent, toys. At school, he was bullied by the other, bigger, and stronger kids for his “nerdy” behavioural aspect. Whenever a female confronted him, he shrunk away, pleading her to stop saying that we would rather be beaten than fight her. He couldn’t fight back well against the other kids because he wasn’t very strong, and the other kids would see this as an advantage.
Caleb was always the type of person who trusted people WAY to easy. He always tried to help anyone he met. After the vault opened, Caleb left (due to the hallucinations calling him forth) and started wandering the wasteland. A few steps outside of the Vault, he found a mutilated corpse with a torn backpack on the ground next to it. A closer inspection showed that a deathclaw must have gotten to him. Of all the items that were salvageable, the only working item was a 10mm Pistol with 58 10mm rounds. There was also some dirty water and a small broken radio. Caleb saw the parts missing and was determined to fix it.
Caleb scavenged around at every place that had electronics till he fixed that radio. after fixing it, he turned it on to check for signals, nothing at all. feeling discouraged, he decided to travel up to washington. a few traders said it would be a good place to head to. Caleb knew it was a very long journey, but it would be worth it. Caleb often entered towns and traded parts and other objects he found on his journey. he was happy to help anyone in need. But one night, a group of slavers found his camp. they captured him and took him with them.
Half a year later, the group of slavers were celebrating a huge pay in the other slaves they had captured, while in the cage Caleb and a few other slaves found a way to disengage the collars. Caleb and 2 others successfully escaped before the slavers knew what happened. as Caleb many towns before finding out he was closer to washington than he though. And so, Caleb continues to travel. what will he find? Who will he meet? that is a story for another time

Walking down through an abandoned old street that was torn down you see a new settlement new people scarred by the wastes. People that were glad to be alive had started a new, kids playing, a school, adults having chats. Just like before the bombs fell, my name is Jaggar. Me and my family used to live in vault one, when we started to lose the vault, we were the ones who got a head start in the world. Our objective was to rebuild. Its been 3 years since we saw the others in the vault, nobody knows what happened to the ones inside. We don't know if they survived died out or what, but all we know is that we were lucky.
As soon as we got out of the vault 3 years ago, I've been obsessed with old world tech. Tinkering was my calling, I've been mentored countless times by scavengers to where i could find nice scrap. My dad was a vault mechanic he fixed all types of machinery I saw him tinkering and he taught me at a young age. But back to the present, we've had a missing trader with the scrap to keep us alive. So i need to go out and find the missing caravan. so in two weeks i have to start off on foot to find it. On the way i will wonder what I will learn, what the nuked world will be like, and what types of people i will encounter. All this and a lonesome road ahead.

Except for Lakewood, that was a pain.
Or when the Brotherhood went bat-**** insane.
Or when we ended up killing off like half of the faction leaders.
Actually, looking back, I had a lot of fun on all of these.
