Again, I would like to point out that a lot of us who are working on the server have been incredibly busy IRL. Yes, it's been a few months (February) since we closed. Yes, many servers have probably opened in the time we've been down. To compare two servers in the manner you are doing is an unfair and inaccurate comparison, since there are so many more variables in play when considering server progress aside from downtime and team size.
I agree with both of you though it does not matter so much in my opinion. I do feel like the convicted team hasn't all been putting forth their effort because with what born said, the staff also has had finals and many things going on. I just think convicted could have been fixed without even going down, it was a lack of effort from some... when there were warnings and the fixes didnt work... anyway, besides those flashbacks

We were simply told by a Warden that we aren't going to give specifics on each project or task. As Lava stated though, many of those are fully completed, some are almost completed, and others are in the works of being completed. Lava and I already both want to give more information but we cannot.

Definitely looking forward to the launch of the new server and re-joining the community as I wasn't very active the last month or two before the closing. I'm glad there's a suggested time frame, and has it been decided whether or not donor would be wiped? (If so I need to save up some money lmao) Can't wait to hang with you guys again.

It is no secret that the server needs money to operate, and it has been relatively lacking in income in the last few months before its temporary shutdown. I propose that to help with income, Donor is taken from those who have already donated and offered at half-price or quarter-price for those people. In addition to the same perks that were given before, those who re-donate could receive something special but non-OP, kind of like a commemorative item. Something like their name or player head on a board dedicated for two-time Donors outside the prison, or a special book thanking them and discussing the new server, or their player head, or a combination of the three, or something else if there are any other ideas about it. This way Convicted will get a surge of income that can be used to keep the server afloat for at least another several months, if not a year, while providing acknowledgement and special but not game-breaking treatment for those who have donated before the reset.

would it be possible to have the server take donations from like a subway giftcard? because I would love to donate but my parents wont let me use money on the computer but I get a 10$ subway giftcard every month/week and I don't use it on subway I use to spend it on a game w/o my parents knowledge

For Subway gift cards specifically, there are reputable websites that will buy the card for 80% face value or so and send a check or money in PayPal. In addition, you can buy VISA or Mastercard or Amex gift cards in stores like supermarkets and use them to donate directly.

If we had allowed normal and trusted prople work on the server from the start we could be open by now. But of course it's too late for that now. It needs to be a community effort and not just staff. Just my opinion though
Here is a poll. We as staff would like to see what you guys would like to happen regarding donor.

I was wondering, maybe ex-donors could get some sort of in-game tag to show that they previously helped the server (without the donor perks)? (e.g. Veteran)
I'm not so much a part of the building process, so I can't spoil much of that, but here's something that some of you may find cool!
