Hello again, Convicted! I haven't made a post on the forums for quite some time, so why not come back with an argument...
I have been having commitment issues with the server lately, and as a result, I can't play as much as I used to. I was contemplating whether or not to quit Convicted for a relatively long timespan to keep commitment, and not play against my own will. But the activities on the server have recently been sealing the thoughts for me. I understand your opinions, and they are valid to me. What I'm about to say will make a countless number of people angry. Convicted was once dying, but is now being reborn, but not in the way I expected. The server has gone downhill since it's recent rebirth and such. A few problems have arisen that have caused commitment issues for me the most. One of these being the economy being unstable. Tribes and other rares have been thrown out into the economy, and have been thrown in there as an attempt to clear some money from the unstable economy. I'm fine with that decision, but that's not the only factor to it. Recently, 8Q was brought back, harder than ever. However, people have remastered it, and can get loads of rare items and stars from it easily, thus making the economy unstable. This next thing I'm about to say will make several chaos and non chaos users EXTREMELY upset. You have been warned. I will come out clean with this. I'm quite hypocritical, and I am cocky as well. I can't deny those factors of myself. But this is outright ridiculous. When I rejoined the server in December 2013, chaos was still relatively difficult to achieve, seeing as the two red stars still had to be won from events. The rest of the stars were completely easy to get, seeing as depending on how good you were at parkour, or how rich you were, you could get chaos easily. I had taken this route for stars. But this has gone too far. With the recent re-release of 8Q, chaos can literally be bought using nothing more than BP. You can buy pink, black, and the tokens for dark red scroll and the other stars. You can even pay somebody to do the parkour with the scroll for you. A certain individual got upset at me for arguing about this in game. Seeing as he had gotten chaos back in the day when you could get it from nothing more than events. If anyone would like to complain about what I just said about the new stars, go ahead, sue me. I cannot stress enough how easy and boring the server has gotten since my days as a C and B blocker in 2012. With the whole chaos thing going on, I can suggest 2 solutions to the problem, or you can keep it as is.

1: Nerf the chaos buff. Too many people with haste III = nightmarish convicted.

2: Make chaos unachievable except through events.

I understand the sheer rage building up inside of your head right now, I know how much you want to kill a baby kitten. I understand that 90% of the server will hate me after I post this, and frankly, I could care less that any of you hate me. I'm not liking the server right now, and I'm not sure that anybody cares about me after what I've just said, but either this month or in May, I'm going to quit Convicted for a few months, and take a break.

Now would be a good time to start killing baby kittens.

During the week days I normally go on Minechat, but my parents took my Ipod away for 2 weeks!! For seriously no reason, anyway I won't be on as much due to this, but in 2 weeks it should be back to normal, thanks

I agree with you about this. Chaos should be either nerfed because if how less difficult it is to obtain now, or it should be made harder to get. The server is still doing pretty good. When I get on at about 4PM EST there's usually around 35-45 people on, so I don't believe it's killing it, but people with chaos are fairly op. also, the haste buff should be taken out of chaos and also out into a harder quest than RQ. RQ really isn't that challenging at all for what you get. 15 minutes of OP mining which you can easily go get again with some skill in parkour. The parkour in RQ is extremely simple. OP mining helps people get much more rich. I've seen people kill pumpkin mine with haste and get 200k+ in about 10 minutes time.

Also, another thing that should be fixed is there should be more guards in GMT time. Any time of the week when I've not gone to class, there are rarely ever any guards on, and the OP people on the server kill all the C's. But I don't believe the chaos is killing the server, we've gotten 300+ new players since Friday, so I don't believe these issues are killing the server as of now, but with too many people becoming rich and overpowered, rioting and killing the C's makes plenty of newcomers rage quit when they lose their items.

OT: Trainee's are useless. I know that they're only on trial, but they are 2 shot for an s6 which also aren't the hardest thing to get, they just take a couple hours. Give the trainee's a little more I know this probably won't happen, but they can't do anything when it comes to riots.

I most certainly agree that chaos is too easy now and I do have 1 idea for chaos.

Once you get all 8 stars, you must then complete a very difficult challenge with parkour, pvp, and luck. This will help because many players who buy stars can't even parkour and it will control the income of chaos users a bit.

I have to agree, chaos should be something that is long and hard to achieve, here is an example:
1. Get all 8 stars
2. Apply for event for people with 8 stars (held every 3 months){2 Winners per 3 months}
3. If you win the 8 star event, you move on to apply for an event that takes place once a year, with 4 people.
4. If you get accepted you do a long parkour with teams, a long parkour without teams and so on.
5. All of those who pass this get to take the Bains Test, a test on the history of the server.
6. Scoring 85% or higher on the test brings you to this, you must write an essay summarizing your entire life up until then on the server.
7. If the essay is accepted, your BP account is wiped along with all your chests and any top level plots (All items are wiped EXCEPT for 5 items of your choice if you would like.) And you are demoted to Elite to achieve Free to be able to use chaos.



This is just an idea that I have, it probably won't be used but I don't care it would restrict the amount of chaos users, get rid of money and valuable items.

5) Any experience with the prison genre? Only on this server but I'm experienced with all of the ranks.

6) What is your time zone? CST (central time in the United States)

7) Why are you the best choice for guard? (1-2 paragraphs) I have a lot of experience on this server. I have been all of the ranks including A, B, C, and D so I think that in that way I can help make the server better by knowing it more. I'm also an op free so I have experience with riots on the other side but now I'd like to experience it from a guards point of view. Another reason experience would come in handy is because I know how everything works which would be great for a guard to know (a lot of guards don't know how it works and abuse). People like me on the server so it would be a great reason to promote me because people would know me and trust me to keep the server safe. Ok so I've been in iAmKdkanes faction for a while and I've finally realized that I really need a new experience on the server and I think it's time to take a break from Sackboiis. I hope it doesn't take too much explaining but people kind of thought of me as kane's pet for a loooong time and now I really am getting sick of it and would like to take a chance to view the server in a different way (being in kane's faction meant rioting and having tons of OP gear so that could help with guarding).
Another great reason to promote me would be how I'm really good at PVP and I would help keep the server clean of frees that riot, which would be good for keeping the server safe. The current guards are not really keeping the server safe because some of them are very bad at it (not naming any names) but promoting more experienced guards would be a good idea because its more likely that guards actually get to do some of the enforcing. Also, I have a lot of free time after school and will be a very active guard. I would like to experience this server from a different point of view than free and I am very responsible (definitely enough to be promoted) so if you think I'm worthy of becoming guard please consider promoting me!

9) What is your current prison rank? Do you understand that we will require a screenshot of this when/if you retirefromguard? I am currently free and I do understand that I will be required to show a screenshot.

My idea can be used in a different way and also altered, I forgot to say. Im just trying to think of ways to fix all of this.

Well, losing everything I have on convicted and having to go through the pain of writing an essay for a buff that can be substituted by potions for the biggest part, I personally would discard my stars right now.

I think chaos is fine as it is. It's still a load of work to get it. The only thing is that people can easily 'buy' the biggest part of the stars which is bad, in my opinion.

Reason For Urban: Lets begin with black_gravity, I do apologize and should have been careful on my mining tactics. I was mining in random directions creating suspicion. I've learned from that and from now on I will mine in less suspicious, common tactics. Moving on to my other 2 accounts. In all honesty I would regret the ban... if i was hacking. Thats why im here today. I am sorry for all people who think im hacking. Ill admit it looks like hacks, but how am I supposed to prove it I dont hack. Me and builder discussed this situation on evidence and such, he gave me an idea of using Bandi-cam. I tried it out and liked it, I actually made 2 videos reporting hackers on Shotbow Network. https://www.youtube....ity1/videos Link to the channel, going on I will promise from now on to record any event or Pvp fight I enter in. I cant record all pvp fights but 1 or 2 a day should suffice. Even if needed ill record me mining if you think im x-ray. I would like to thank builder for giving me this idea. Well.... let me set this straight and don't mouth off to me because I will light you up I'm right and you're wrong So SHUTUP!!! Lol JK I just realized that.... XD I'm so smart but for real make it easier for me I have no chance otherwise lol..... I 100% agree with your statement but the difference between me and you I like to be a little be more controversial.... I think there should be a complete WIPE of stars (except donor for obvious reasons) and having it how we did back a while back ago where a warden has an event to try to obtain a stars and the only other ways of obtaining them is winning special events that are not hosted very ofter if you are not good at the other Wardens event eg. Dusty's Parkour. If we make Chaos harder we should also make the prize better for when you achieve chaos.

Another thing that needs help is the economy the tribes was a good idea and a step in the right direction but they are hella expensive. A good way to lower the money count is to allow anvils before everybody boos hear me out. People should pay a good 300k-500k to be teleported into the a room to allow people to repair swords and items (Swords higher than sharpness 5 CAN NOT BE REPAIRED ANVILS) it allows people to repair things if they have levels and the money and also allows a new trade of enchanted books to be released into the market.

Um.... is it possible that a warden/ alpha can warp me to courtyard from reflect quest when i'm offline because when i log in my mc immediately crashes so i can't type /suicide.

If you have OptiFine turn it off or go on a different profile. I've heard that it makes you crash and from my own experience it does.
