Ladida12345's AlphaGuard Application!
Hi, as you may know, I am Ladida, a guard on Convicted. I have been playing on the server for over a year, and I am happy to see such a server grow better and better. I'm writing this application because I am on the opposite side of the timezone, which I rarely see Viper, Noakii, and all the other prisoners and I feel that after a year or so of being guard, I feel that people on the opposite side of the time zone (Which in my case, I'm in GMT +8) should have a chance to be promoted as well as people who have the same time zones as the Wardens.
Hope you will consider my app for AlphaGuard, but even though I don't get accepted, I will still continue to guard the prison, making sure that the prison is safe when the Wardens are asleep Since there is no AlphaGuard application, I'm just going to create my own template.

How long have you been playing?: Over a year (1 year 4 months to be exact )
Why do you want to be AlphaGuard?: I understand that being an AlphaGuard is a big responsibility. I know the prison rules back to front, and I can also make quick and confident decisions. Although its a tough task to keep the prison safe on the other side of the timezone, I am willing to take up this challenge and help to ban people who decides to break the main prison server rules.
I am also experienced with being a member of the staff and I will respect all players equally. I am a fair and mature person and I am willing to help others, including the new players of the server who may need help to understand how to play on prison servers. Being a staff on other servers have increased my maturity in helping and guiding others who are in need, and punishing those who dare to advertise, spam, or hack on Convicted. I may only be a 13 year old teenager. But being guard since I was 12 has taught me a lot and helped me to gain a lot of experience with prison servers.
As well as the above reasons, I also feel that I can help to guard the server at night, thus making the prison safe, since the server can be vulnerable at night. If I do get AlphaGuard, I will treasure and use this opportunity to help and make some contributions to the server and to its fabulous team of staff!
Over the past year since I first joined Convicted, I've made a lot of very nice, helpful and caring friends (there are too many to list!) and for every generation of Convicted, there are players I have to say goodbye to. I am also an active Minecraft Forums Member, so I can answer any questions that are asked. I am also an active player on Convicted, although I am on a different timezone, I still go on frequently, helping others and to guard the prison.
Trust is also a main key to be an AlphaGuard. I feel that I can do my part and help out with the server. I know that to have trust, the wardens will have to consider a few factors -- Can he spot out for hackers? Does he abuse warps? Will he spend too much time doing other things than guarding? These factors I can abide to, I can spot for hackers (since I've been staff on other servers before), I will not abuse warps, since its a privilege that AlphaGuards get them and that I won't be distracted by other things when guarding.
Becoming an AlphaGuard on this server would definitely be a new experience, and I really enjoy looking forward to that day when the time has come. Over the past year, I've seen lots of people being promoted to AlphaGuard including Mikey, SD, Nicci, Choc, Pecyboy, qwerty, B0mber, ZombiePt and Builder. I really hope that I can join the AlphaGuard family as well!

4) Have you read the Server, Prison, and Guard Rules? Yes, I read all the rules, including the rules on the boards to the right of C spawn, and I will always follow them.
5) Any experience with the prison genre? None, other than this server, sadly. This server introduced me to the idea of prison servers, and I've never had any reason to try other ones. I have played long enough to fully understand the gameplay of prison servers, though.
6) What is your time zone? Pacific Time Zone
7) Why are you the best choice for guard? (1-2 paragraphs)

Play Time
I have played for four months, which, to me, is a long time. Everyday, I play 2-6 hours on average, enough to make my parents mad, anyway. Lots of Guards are accepted and only play once every two days or so, and it annoys me that they take the time to be accepted and don't even play really. I will be on every day, focusing on my job, for a long time, if I'm accepted.
PvP Skills
Though I may not have played on many Prison Servers, I have played on a lot of PvP servers. I love working together with my faction members to win battles against the hardest opponents. I am a good team player, and every time there's a riot I wish I could help the Guards.
Commitment
Guards get accepted, and then they abuse, are inactive, or complain about not being a full Guard.(Not saying every Guard, just some.) I will not abuse, as I think that would be completely stupid. Why would you spend all this time making a decent app and then ruin your chances of becoming a full Guard or AlphaGuard by abusing? As I said earlier, I am very active on this server, so that's not a problem. And lastly, complaining about only being a Trainee. I've seen people do this a lot, and it bugs the crap out of me. You put in all this effort and are actually accepted and then you complain? No, just no. I will not do any of those 3 things, I will try my hardest to be the best Trainee/Guard I can be, and I will not let you down.
Maturity
Despite my being only 12, I am pretty mature for my age. I have never scammed anyone, ever. I am in HiCap at school, so I take 1 grade higher classes than I really am. I would not even think about abusing, as I have said. Hope this section improves your decision.
Other Info + Summing it all Up
I am willing to wait, and I am willing to learn. I will strive to be the best Guard ever, and I can promise people will never be complaining about my decisions. To summarize: I am active, am a great team player, am good at PvP, am mature, am committed to Guard, and I will NOT abuse or complain. I believe I have covered everything,Noakii, but please anyone let me know if I forgot something or drop some comments and recommendations for me. I really hope you'll consider me as your newest Trainee.

Why am I the best choice for guard:
I am a consistent dedicated player, who would really like to support the server and player base in any possible way. I believe being a guard to enhance others play experience is one of the best ways to do that. Saving people grief by preventing their death right after a hard grind at the mines or ending spawn camping at C-block, whatever it may be, is the best way of helping others on the server that I can think of. I am a fairly decent PVPer, and I am constantly getting better. I am fair and try to be kind, by answering questions anyone may have. I never swear or use harsh language, and am always kind in chat. I want to be a guard to help other players, not myself. I understand that guard may not always be the most fun position in the prison, but is the most helpful. I want nothing more than to help the inmates at this fine prison and insure their fun and enjoyment every second. I know I am fairly new to the server, but I have fallen in love with it already. Me and my friend have been hooked working up the ranks and just having a fun time in general.
I have noticed however certain places being camped due to lack of guards, and wish to remedy that problem. I am mature, and handle situations well. I will not explode & yell at people when they are being difficult, I will keep a cool head and solve the problem. There is nothing I cant accomplish when I out my mind to it, I run my own little vanilla server just for me and my friends, so I understand how the server (basically) works. I am a mature, active, kind member of the community and would love to improve it.
Do I understand that nagging wardens in chat to check your app will result in an automatic decline: Yes, I have applied for mod on a PVP server and was constantly nagging people in chat to check my app. I have evolved above that though and am happy to wait for my app to be checked, because I know that wardens are extremely busy.

Is that why you lied on your app (Saying that SDA and Ender recommended you) and then when SDA denied you you immediately reposted (o the same day of the first post, I might add)
Optic, I'm not sure you exactly know what denying is, when an [AlphaGuard] denies your application he is essentially saying that you need to create a new application.
PSA to everyone going for Trainee
Also as a note to ALL players going for [Trainee] please DO NOT spam a giant font size. I got trainee and I used the same font size I'm using right now, if an [AlphaGuard] or [Warden] says your app is too short that doesn't mean make the font size bigger.
Just a couple of suggestions and a recommendation today
1. I feel that in donor or somewhere we should have an anvil, however I do know that people feel it is unfair to repair sharp 7 swords. I agree with this and would like to know whether hexa or someone could code it so it only allows you to add sharp enchanted books or fortune enchanted books, these could be given out by mini events run by the wardens. So that was my first suggestion.
2. I think we could add chat moderators as a rank, you apply on forums and depending on the candidates suitability they get hired or declined by the wardens. I know you will all say "we already have wardens and alphas" but there is always times where no alpha or warden is on and a spammer turns up, which is really annoying and i feel this may sort this out.
3. I feel there should be a new guard rank, not many people get alpha rank and this causes people to sometimes quit guard which I dont think should happen, maybe we could have a rank after guard that has got something like healing 2 pots instead of healing 1 pots or something else that makes them slightly stronger.
and My recommendation is for
LT_COUCH- who I notice has been very active from the day he got trainee and is consistently guarding even when riots are happening he is in the middle helping the guards out.
Mhmm, chat-moderator sounds like a good idea (I might consider becoming a ChatMod than an AlphaGuard :3)

7) I think that i am a good choice for guard because i have loads of experience in the prison genre, on this server and many others. I have played on this server for so long that i know all of the ins and outs, also i know when it is the right time to jail someone, kill them, or just stand and make sure they don't do anything. Also i am very good at spotting contra-ban items in the prison nothing can get past me. I also now what all of the contra-ban items look like so there would be no need for me to go and look. Another good thing is that i am a great pvp-er so if i am in a pvp situation with a prisoner justice will be served, i play on pvp servers a lot so i get pvp practice everyday, but lately ive been playing a lot on this server. Another pro of making me a guard is that i am on this server a lot so when some guards wont be on i will be so i can maintain the prison. The guards are doing a great job but, i have noticed that at times there are not many guards online, so i feel that i will be able to make up for that. one final thing is that i am not angered easily so there will be no issue of an angry guard. In conclusion i have loads of experience, time, skill, and maturity, thanks for your time.

I jailed a player for not giving me his sword. The player then asked me in chat why he was released from jail. I then asked around and found out that Jonathan I jailed him. So I asked him why he unjailed him. He said because he asked to be unjailed so he did. He didn't even know why the player was in jail.

I know how prison servers work, the general rules of them, the ranks, and everything you could think about the concept of a prison server. 6) What is your time zone?: Central Standard Time (I live in Illinois). 7) Why are you the best choice for guard? (1-2 paragraphs):I'm the best choice for guard because I know all that there is to know about the position. I am good at PvP, and can handle large riots. I'm very vigilant for rule breaking prisoners and can handle problems very well. I've had guard positions before and was always considered a prime example of a good guard. I have a ton of experience with Convicted and prison servers too, and am always there to answer a player's questions. I would never abuse my power as a guard, and would always put my job as my first priority when I'm on the server. I wouldn't break any of Convicted's rules. I'm an active player and can guard for hours every day. Also, I'm a nice person, and like to be involved with the community. I know and love a lot of Convicted's community, and have never been banned or muted. I know all of the rules, and can handle all of this situations a guard goes through. I would always enforce all of the rules as a guard. I also know all of the commands used for guarding/moderating a prison server. There is nothing I cant accomplish when I out my mind to it, I run my own little vanilla server just for me and my friends, so I understand how the server (basically) works. I am a mature, active, kind member of the community and would love to improve it.
Do I understand that nagging wardens in chat to check your app will result in an automatic decline: Yes, I have applied for mod on a PVP server and was constantly nagging people in chat to check my app. I have evolved above that though and am happy to wait for my app to be checked, because I know that wardens are extremely busy.

I like the idea for the anvil's and chat mods. It would also be nice to see a new rank between [Guard] and [AlphaGuard] like VetGuard or SrGuard.

5) Yes i have played on many prison servers and have found this one to be the best.

7) I think that i am a good choice for guard because i have loads of experience in the prison genre, on this server and many others. I have played on this server for so long that i know all of the ins and outs, also i know when it is the right time to jail someone, kill them, or just stand and make sure they don't do anything. Also i am very good at spotting contra-ban items in the prison nothing can get past me. I also now what all of the contra-ban items look like so there would be no need for me to go and look. Another good thing is that i am a great pvp-er so if i am in a pvp situation with a prisoner justice will be served, i play on pvp servers a lot so i get pvp practice everyday, but lately ive been playing a lot on this server. Another pro of making me a guard is that i am on this server a lot so when some guards wont be on i will be so i can maintain the prison. The guards are doing a great job but, i have noticed that at times there are not many guards online, so i feel that i will be able to make up for that. one final thing is that i am not angered easily so there will be no issue of an angry guard. In conclusion i have loads of experience, time, skill, and maturity, thanks for your time.

I jailed a player for not giving me his sword. The player then asked me in chat why he was released from jail. I then asked around and found out that Jonathan I jailed him. So I asked him why he unjailed him. He said because he asked to be unjailed so he did. He didn't even know why the player was in jail.
P.S. I am cape_panda. I got locked out of my cape_panda account so I am on my alts forum account.

Jonathan took the word of a prisoner and unjail him after the prisoner told Jon that he was unfairly jailed and deserved to be unjailed.

3) How long have you been playing the server? (Minimum of 3 days): I've been playing on Convicted for close to a year and a half.
4) Have you read the Server, Prison, and Guard Rules?: I've read all of the rules multiple times and know them by heart (btw Noakii is hawt).
5) Any experience with the prison genre?: I have an IMMENSE amount of experience with prison servers, since I've been playing Convicted and a close server (DDTS) for almost two years. I know how prison servers work, the general rules of them, the ranks, and everything you could think about the concept of a prison server.
6) What is your time zone?: Central Standard Time (I live in Illinois).
7) Why are you the best choice for guard? (1-2 paragraphs): I'm the best choice for guard because I know all that there is to know about the position. I am good at PvP, and can handle large riots. I'm very vigilant for rule breaking prisoners and can handle problems very well. I've had guard positions before and was always considered a prime example of a good guard. I have a ton of experience with Convicted and prison servers too, and am always there to answer a player's questions. I would never abuse my power as a guard, and would always put my job as my first priority when I'm on the server. I wouldn't break any of Convicted's rules. I'm an active player and can guard for hours every day. Also, I'm a nice person, and like to be involved with the community. I know and love a lot of Convicted's community, and have never been banned or muted. I know all of the rules, and can handle all of this situations a guard goes through. I would always enforce all of the rules as a guard. I also know all of the commands used for guarding/moderating a prison server. Overall, I am a great choice for the guard position and would not let you down if I was promoted
