I believe that his alt is a Guard, or he retired. In either case, he should not be wearing chain mail armor if he was a Free. If you have a screenshot, please post it. This would probably be filed under banking Guard only items.

5) Any experience with the prison genre? Yes, as bad as it may seem I run FNG Nation community/youtube channel/minecraft servers which do include one of our main servers, FNG Correctional. So I am well versed in the whole prison server theme/genre.
6) What is your time zone? Eastern Timezone [GMT -05]
7) Why are you the best choice for guard? I run several minecraft servers, familiar with the day-to-day of maintaining a server plus full experience with website design, graphics, development, etc. I'm well versed in FTP, plugin rotation and keeping things fresh. I know it seems weird I run a prison server too, I'm not here to ripoff ideas (anyone could do that as a user anyway) as it's night/day comparison between our two servers.
I just want to moderate elsewhere away from the spotlight of my community's fame haha. I also love convicted, it alone of course inspired me to create my own prison server! I just wish to pay respect and tribute and return the favor however I can. I feel you can utilize someone with my talents and expertise and in a very good way.
I'm also older in the fact that I am 26 and not immature or disrespectful; I know how and when to follow orders and when to play/joke. I'm not y, I'm not rude or a dickhead, I like chatting with users, hearing their stories and helping them out when need be. I even like helping out complete noobs and schooling them on the way things should/are to be done.
Plugins wise I am versed in the setup and configuration of pretty much any plugin. Familiar with worldedit, worldguard, economy plugins such as iconomy, boseecon, vault, etc. Tree assist line of plugins, I know how to completely build with worldedit and region areas, setup buy region signs, easily learn whichever region renting plugin you got going on for cells. I think I can learn any new plugin right away, I'm not a noob on computers nor Minecraft. I can learn anything that I do not know, very quickly without my hand being held.
8) What is your current rank? Do you understand that we will require PROOF of your rank when/if you retire from guard? On my new name today, I am of course C-Block rank. I got to B on my latter name.
Before guards had chain armour it was given away through events. Also many people still have the set they wore when they retired/ were demoted.
I personally don't think that you should be able to keep that set. This can cause a lot of problems, especially when new players get murdered by a player in enchanted chain mail armor who are "Guards", and are supposed to protect them. This can also cause Guards to become confuse when this guy just turned against them when he was a "Guard". I think that any and all chain mail armor that anybody has should become outlawed; not giving it will result in a temp-ban. Just my opinion.
Also, if the "Guard" stays in the Guard faction, then technically they never would have been demoted and would be free to abuse their power as much as possible. See the problem here? :/

I kept getting raped by a free in c-block haha, i had nothing and kirby kept punching me to death lolz. im not a baby so it was funny to me but still, made it difficult to even work within the prison or mine, etc. Finally awsome came to c-block then it stopped
This app is quite good, but you might want to add something more server related. Also carefully re-read the guard rules, you are missing something (just add it).

Gorea, if you're going to be like this then I am going to have to ask you to leave our forum. You really don't have a lot of room to talk about being banned, you have been banned 4 times now. Besides, jumbo's ban was, I believe, illegitimate. Also, I have yet to see one hate comment on jumbo's ban, and just about nothing but support for his unban. Not very kind of you to go around congratulating people on getting banned and asking them, "how it feels" now does it? Get an alt and come on to the server for a fifth time, elsewhise you might as well take your leave. If you're going to rub it in if somebody else gets banned, you can please leave.

Chain armor is allowed. I dont know if you noticed but Aevil is loved by all the staff. He either got it from a guard who got some or obtained it from a warden. No ones at fault here

You're right, it's not, but really ought to be. I don't like the idea of somebody going around and posing as a Guard, as this is one of the many reasons we gave Guards chainmail in the first place. New prisoners are always told, "The people in chainmail armor? They're Guards, they will protect you!" Then you have some Free posing as a Guard, and randomly killing those same prisoners who thought that the people in chainmail were their protectors. This will generally lead to ragequits, abuse reports, among other random crap. I believe that only Guards should be allowed to wear chainmail, and anyone else should taste the ban hammer.
Viper, I think that you should add something to the FAQ in the Original Post. It just seems to me that with every patch, there are always questions of, "When is the server going to update?" "UPDATE THE SERVER NOW!!!!!" along with other demands/questions. Perhaps add a response of, "The server will update to the next patch when Bukkkt releases its recommended build, and all server plugins update." or something else along those lines.
Also, I have suggested this before, but I think that IGN in the unban and Guard apps should be spelled out as In-Game Name. Why? Because people seem to be confusing it with other things or just not understanding at all. Here are examples of what I see sometimes: "Sorry, don't have one." "I don't know what this is." and anything else that can be thought of. It rarely happens, but it still can sometimes.
Does anyone else miss the old Convicted UI? With the [C-Prisoner] prefixes and the login/logout messages, or is it just me? The prefixes were part of Convicted's originality, something I fear that we may be losing. Lately, it seems, we have been copying other prison servers, with the shortened ranks, removal of the login/logout messages, etc. Now, I may not have been here when Killion formed, much less other prison servers, but I do know that we were not the first ones to come up with the shortened ranks. Same goes with the automatic mine resets. I understand that the automatic resets were added due to popular demand, among other things, but it had been in use by the others servers a little while ago. I was told that the reason that login/out messages were disabled was because it was too spammy. In all actuality, Convicted can be very small at times, with as low as 7 players on at a time. The most I have ever seen online was 60-70, and the average is usually 40. I never saw any problems with it, and I like to see who comes online and when. I usually have to stalk /who or tab to see when somebody logs on nowadays. It does get a bit annoying sometimes, but it may just be me. Now, I know that there will be replies of, "Convicted is original!" "We're not losing originality!" and other things. Now, reply away with whatever you want, this is purely my opinion and I am entitled to it. Also, no, I am not some traitor/Killion sympathizer/otherwise. I am just speaking my mind here.

1. Aevilcow could not have legitimately obtained chain mail armor unless a Warden spawned it and gave it to him. Which I doubt.
