I'm a trainee guard and I think it would be best if I retire if I want to continue playing on this server. Although I was aware of the limitations of being a guard I had no real idea how hard it is to be a good guard on here. There are several contributing factors to my resignation:
1: Factions are extremely OP and guards are undermanned to face such a threat
2: Guards can only make money by the hour rather than by the other more satisfactory ways available to free people
3: I'm not as good at PVP as I thought I was
I know it may seem fickle of me to resign after just receiving a position as guard, I just don't think I can continue on this server if I have to be an inadequately manned guard to waste lives and kits on top level factions who 5v1 me. Being a C-block was better than this in some ways, but oh well, I won't continue rambling.

Most people concider quitting when they first come into trainee and realise it isn't as easy as it seems but if you don't quit- you won't regret it. I'm not saying I am an experienced guard or anything- quite the opposite, I was ranked up yesterday. I'm just saying you should stay in there a bit longer and see what happens

I agree. I used to die all the time. Now i kill ppl in diamond armor when i have no enchants and iron armor (from time to time, not always ) My few months as guard have been a lot better than the few weeks i was a prisoner for sure (and i have a free alt, so it would be stupid to retire, not that i plan to ever)

Why are you the best choice for guard? I've moderated on a server prior to this (now dead), and have experience enforcing rules (although they weren't RP rules). I know how to deal with trouble makers and I like to enforce the rules. Primarily, I hope to become an Alpha so I can aid in enforcing rules against spammers, xrayers, etc. I'm laid back, and can be easy to get along with, but I can be strict when the situation calls for it. I don't make exceptions to the rules. I also have little interest in the progression aspect of the server (in that I think I would get bored after becoming a free member), so, a guard position would be where I would feel the most comfortable. Although I've only been on this server for a week, but I am a very trustworthy individual that can be entrusted with most tasks.
I've heard quite a bit about how you might have troubles with bad trainees, or have even banned guards, and I can assure you I am not one of those. If you are looking for a trustworthy person to take up the guard position, then I'm your ideal choice.

I've noticed there aren't too many Guards and I'd like to help make things easier. I play Minecraft more hours than I probably should, but each of it will be spend help the server. I really hope Noakii reads this... I also want to be a guard because I'm trustworthy and couldn't hack anything even if I wanted to! Fair play is something I take great pride in, and I'm on when most Guards aren't.

I have befriended some of the guards, and they might recommend me if I ask. I am not afraid to jail someone if I have to. I am not biased and will do what is right as a guard. I promise to respect my position as a guard and never abuse my power. I will do as I am told to get the job done right. I understand my responsibilities as a guard and will carry them out as is expected of me. I will not disrespect anyone or jail anyone for no reason. Recommend. Very rarely do we get a paragraph for #7, let alone 2.
A little piece of advice, you don't need an 18 font to attract attention, it does just the opposite. My eyes hurt when I try to read that, and I don't think that's the goal you want to be aiming for. Use plain text with the questions/topics colored. It attracts attention, and is easy on the eyes.
