Welcome one and all, to Eternal Phoenix! We hope you enjoy your stay on our server. Read below for a backstory and our FAQ, as well as some general rules.
Eternal Phoenix is proof that as servers come and go, the community of those servers stays strong.
In the fall of 2010, a creative server, Raddafiskie, was launched. For over a year, the server provided a fun environment in which its users could build and play. In the fall of 2011, Raddafiskie shut down. Not all was lost though; 8BitBen, a long time admin of Raddafiskie, released a new server in its place: Keystone Creative. Much of the user base from Raddafiskie migrated to Keystone, and Keystone gained its own community as well. At the peak of its success, Keystone even launched a survival server, managed by demonic__Angel.
In December of 2012, just after its one year anniversary, Keystone was shut down, much to everyone's dismay. That's where we come in. The aim of Eternal Phoenix is to carry on the legacy of the Raddafiskie and Keystone servers and provide a place for the Minecraft community to play, hopefully for years to come.

So glad to finally be open. We've been working on this server for a long time guys so come on and try us out. Also there's llamas here so we're pretty cool.
Been looking forward to the reboot since December, and now it's finally here. We're a bit smaller on the staff end at the moment, but after we get a good playerbase to choose from, I think that can be rearranged. Let's get back to building.
I was online when the banning of the very first player from Eternal Phoenix occurred, and I took a screenshot to document the momentous occasion. Here it is!
For those of you who are wondering where survival is, it will come along in a few weeks. I still have to configure a few things though. In the meantime, join up on creative and have some fun
Ica, why am I banned? I was banned before I even logged on this NEW server, and I feel this is very unfair and biased. I feel people should be banned for something they have done, not for "reason undefined". For me, I have the basis that what happend on other servers stays on other servers, so since this is a COMPLETELY NEW SEVER, events that happend on another server should not be carried over. So for these reasons I asked to be unbanned, and if not, I want a clear response which we can come to a conclusion to this situation. - That hoe Alex.
P.s I love dangerzone <3
You were banned for adding every one of our modmins to a spam list on Skype.

So would someone have banned you on a server for adding their phone number to a spam website? Not likely. That event was minecraft unrelated and I feel therefore irrelevant to a NEW minecraft server. He did not add you guys (and all the modmins were not added so that was inaccurate information) to attack the server or to attack modmins, and that was a while ago, I find it very immature for you to have banned someone for such silly reasons. It's not really fair to ban someone solely based on the reasons of you not liking them as this is what it sounds like to me, and not something very becoming of a server meant to carry on the legacy and community feel of Keystone.

His actions affected the modmins of the server, so yes, his ban is server related. A normal person wouldn't take their anger out on everyone on their friends list, just because they were wronged by someone else. That's like being punched in the face, and then punching everyone you meet in the face.
There is absolutely no way that you can justify his actions, sorry.
That is not server related and it was not everyone of the modmins. I also would like to point out it's a chat website where you chat to random people, well, that's the official definition of it.
In most cases, Skype is used only to chat with friends, not random people. Most people you talk to will tell you that they don't like getting random, unsolicited friend requests from users like "hornyb0i117" with NSFW profile pics.
Also, seriously? "It was not everyone of the modmins"? Doesn't matter. It was the majority of them. I can't believe that you'd even try to use that argument.

Just to clarify, I am not trying to justify his actions as you feel I am. I am merely trying to stand up for what is right and justified in the community. It is unfair to ban when ZERO server rules were broken, skype is not related to server as it is NOT in the rules of the server which therefore makes it an unjustified ban. It's not fair to ban because you don't like someone's personal actions outside the server, the things you do in personal lives should not be reflected in server life as minecraft is generally an escape from reality for many. That is the point I am trying to make. I would not have banned you on a server merely because you called me a mean name on skype or something, it wouldn't have been a fair course of action as that mean name doesn't have to reflect how you would act on the server.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW ON OUR FIRST PAGE THERE'S ALREADY A FIGHT...... LIKE REALLY GUYS?! I have no sides in this either so please no one go and take this message as being directed towards them because it's not, I am very good friends with all of you. I just find it ridiculous and honestly a bit unsettling that this server has barely been open for a day and there's already an argument. Can you all please keep this to forum PM's so that people who browse our post don't have to see this?

Thanks! I couldn't have done it without our awesome modmins!
(Most of spawn credit goes to them!)
