What makes you deserve this position? I believe I deserve this server position due to my maturity towards the server and other people. I have a great knowledge of the rules and regulations regarding this server. I am usually on the server everyday for a X-Amount of time, but non-the less I am on the server. I have a good understanding of what both Powergaming and Metagaming are and have corrected people on many occasions. Over the past month I have greatly increased my social area on the server, meeting new as well as old players, interacting with them and such. I realize the seriousness of this position as well as it's requirements. I hope that I will soon be able to be a part of this server, not only as a player but also as a moderator.

Roleplaying is to diverse yourself in another world -experience new concepts, and build a character like or unlike yourself to create a unique experience. Interact with people to create even more diverse gameplay. My past role play experiences include post-apocalyptic servers like this one (Fallout servers) to fantasy role play servers. I took a break from role play for a while, and now I am ready to get back in to the game.
What is your reason for applying to this server? There are three big reasons why I wanted to join the server. First, since I have not been playing RP servers for some time now, want to re-experience it. Secondly, I wanted a server where the story line was not that of Fallout, but stays interested. Your lore is not cliche', and the perspective that humanity is holding on barely is really cool, as well as the incorporation of robots and manufacturing. Lastly, I wanted a populated server. I wanted someone to be always on to join me on my adventures, and really develop my character.
Have you been banned before, if so why? Never! Rules are very important to me, and I am always sure to abide by them. They are there for a reason. I get to join the server, and in return - get to have fun.
Do you agree with our rules, how about the lore? Will you kindly? <<<<<< Like I stated before, I like the lore, and I think it is a really interesting direction it is being taken in.
Will you use the server's official texture pack? Yes. I have no problem using the pack. My computer can handle running it fine. I have a gaming PC, so it should not be a problem.

Your character's story so far: I was born in the wake of everything. When I came to life in the year 2025, I was launched in to a world of chaos and despair. The world was in the biggest depression seen yet. I used to hear of the old days,, when everything was beautiful and vibrant - not bland and boring. People could make real choices. When I came in to the world, there was no such thing as choice. Like many people in my small community, I was forced to mine and work for IntraCorp. I was a tool, used to make all of their machines. The useless things that were breaking our new world. I worked for years and years. Treatment was terrible , and the robots of IntraCorp would make us work so hard, and bad people died. That is why I hate those things - those savages that aren't even human beings that force us in to the pain and sufferings of working as a miner. Years went by, still no luck. Of course, there were there was the failure of an uprising that happened when I was a mere 8 years old. But, the one freedom I loved and did have - was the radio. In all of its beauty, it was the one thing that kept us miners going, including me.
I could not even participate in the rebellion. I was just forced to build the machines that were destroying my team. But then it happened. The meteors fell. We were finally free! But, a new challenge awaited us - a wasteland. I tredged on carefully, nearly almost killed by the radiation. I hopped from group to group, travelling the wasteland like everyone else. I was alone. I remember certain things, like killing a man for the first time, to being enpeached as a leader of a group. Now I travel the roads alone, with a new world ahead of me.

How old is your character? 45. I did the math correctly, hopefully the dates match up with the age.
Describe what your character looks like, any distinctive physical features? Still uses his mining gear for clothing, as it adds a bit of protection being that it is layered. He has a scruffy beard, and never shaves the thing. He needs to look menacing in order to survive.
How does your character act? Sybil is neutral, has some leadership experiences, and is calm in certain situations. However, he is haunted by the past and has a strong hatred for the 'bots who roam the land.
Character's occupation: Mineer
Does your character have an education? (Read or write) Some math skills, but is good at persuading.
Any special skills that your character has, nothing unbalanced: (For this one, I decided to list my pros and cons)
+Organized. +Has a silver tongue. +Takes a leadership role if needed. +Very strong, and is able to fight many people. He is a built figure. +Obviously a great miner. -Not very agile. Does not have quick speed, nor can he get out of buildings fast. So, he is not the best scavenger. Also, this may cost him something in certain battles. (In roleplay, I may not sprint.) -His hatred for robots makes him discriminate them, causing him to not trust people of that kind. This can lead to some bad leadership decisions.
Does your character hate or fear anything? Stated above, as well in the bio. He has a hate for robots because of his past. More info found in bio.
Describe an example of your character in great suffering and pain (RP, and Long): The roads are long and dusty. My friend Jonas and I come to a building, once owned by IntraCorp. We enter the building. It is deserted, as usual. Some mutants, but nothing much. "Let's see if we can get some batteries and get the hell out." Jonas says. "Got that one. This isn't exactly my favorite place to be right now. Too many memories." "I feel ya'." he says, "The past isn't the most fun place to visit." We chuckle a bit. Some basic weapons, robot parts, which I spit on as I usually do. Then we find the batteries.
Jonas tells me he wants to explore upstairs a bit. Why not? I think to myself. There is loot in every corner. We find more and more mutants. I am starting to think we hit the jackpot. Some water, scraps of food, and we even found one piece of dynamite! Perfect for a combat situation. Up and up we go. We find bountiful amounts of loot - we hit the jackpot. We finally make it to the roof. Remnants of a radio tower are still there. This one was destroyed. From behind me, I hear the click of a gun being pulled back. How could he do it?
"Time to finish this. You are the third sucker to fall for this. But, you. This guy! You are the one I had to stay 3 months with to gain your trust!" he exclaimed, "just another fool."
I am angry. I turn around. "What are you? You are the man with a past, with such a deep history, and really cared for me? You're ! How could you point a gun at me after all we have been through?"
"The real monsters of this world are the living - and you should know that." He readies his gun. Just in time - the mutant is inches behind him. He turns to fight the thing behind him. Then I lunge. The pickaxe goes straight in to his throat. He makes a gurgling sound. As his life fades away, I am in tears. He left me! It is his fault, not mine! The only friend I have had in a broken world. Now it is taken away. It's over. The body collapses. But, I take the gun. I should not have to be alone. I put the gun to my temple, ready to pull.
"The real monsters of this world are the living." echoes in my head. I can't bring myself to do it. With sorrow and tears, I move on. I am not going to become one of them. One of the monsters. Time to move on, find another true living in the wasteland.

One thing though, they didn't have radios back then, it wasn't until the 2060's. But considering that you obviously put a lot of effort into this and the overall quality I'll let it slide.
Also could you make your skin look more rugged? Add some dirt or something. I mean he should be extra dirty considering that he was a Miner AND is living in the wasteland.

powergaming is basically ignoring the enviorment of the game to better your character in ways that (in that enviorment for example) should be impossible, or hard.

Born in a metal shack in the middle of a desolate forest. Father was killed before he was born. Orion grew up knowing 2 people his mother and his brother. Orion with a quick look around rushed across the desolate street a quick flash of him as he rushed under the lamplight.
Wizzzz as an arrow went by his head.
"I thought u were covering me jeremy" Orion screeched
wooo wooo as a few more arrows went hurtling towards Orion
"AAhhh" Hollared Orion
Jeremy from behind the car rushed across the street to Orion.
Jeremy could see a giant cut across the back of Orion's coat and a thick red liquid rushing out.
Jeremy Full of adrenaline picked up Orion and carried him back across the street,out into the overgrown grass field. Orion moaning in pain.
After a length of time Jeremy drenched in sweat layed down Orion. Orion dead silent except from the slight sound of him breathing.
Jeremy on the verge of blacking out ripped up his shirt shoving onto Orions wound.Orion Waking up from the shot of pain starts screaming at the top of his lungs. Jeremy finally blacks out. Orion turns over and looks at Jeremy assuming he is dead starts weeping. He then proceeds to curl into the fetal position slowing weeping to himself over his thought to be dead brothers body.

Home. It had always been just a word to her. A word that did not make sense, a word that did not fully exist in her mind. Her home had always been with her older brother Alfred. "It's funny, Cami. I was always the one taking care of you," Alfred smiled over at her. He was so pale, his hair had already started to grey from the stress and hard work, his lips were blue. The sickly pale boy in front of her was nothing like her older brother, and yet, he was.
"It's time to return the favor, that's all," she replied, holding his hand.
"Even after all of this, you're all grown up. I hope I did a good job, sis."

"Alfie, come on." Camille said, her smile fading. She slapped his cheek again, "Alfie, come on. Wake up.. please wake up." And yet, he didn't wake. She sat there as the pain and realization hit her like a hurricane. Tears welled up, and fell. "Alfred Lancaster, wake up, god dammit!" She shouted, "Don't just sit there, answer me!" There couldn't have been any more air in the world at the time, and yet, she felt as if she was suffocating.
Later today we are going to shut down the server for about an hour in order to add an exicting new plugin and fix a few broken permission nodes. I'll make a post of when the server goes down.

Your character's story so far: Aran was a teen, always hovering over his latest work, and for him, his work always had to do with robotics. From new mobility designs to weapon designs, which were always failures, for he never found anyone who would fund his research.
His parents always wanted him to be a miner, and stay in his hometown, Rockvale, to work in the local pure mines, not a "gearhead"
Aran has learned that life traveling in the wasteland is tough, and that he has to learn that you must be smart and resourceful if you want to travel the wastes.He has lived in at least 10 different settlements, making friends that wanted to come along, but he had to make them stay, for he feared what would happen if they made a mistake out there.
He even met a medic, Cassy, who took a liking to him after she treated him when he ran into some fuelbots. They always talk on the radio, promising to visit her every so often, and when he needed medical help. She wishes she could stay with him, and go across the wasteland and help him when he needs it.
Along on his adventures, he found a settlement COMPLETELY based on robotics, they did everything for them! From mining to cleaning. Aran has spent more time than usual here, learning many valuable lessons in robotics, in exchange for a few green stones, of course. He left recently, eager to learn more and put his lessons to the test!
Does or did your character have any companions or family? He travels with a small bot, to keep him company. He also has a mother & father at home, who will give him refuge if he needs it.

There's mutants over at the camp!"he screamed."M-m-mu-...mutants?" Aran asked, this being before he had seen one. "Yes, can't you hear?! They killed 'em all, all the raiders, but my family is still locked up!"the man was obviously desperate, Aran was naive, and thought he could save everyone who was in need, so he went with the man.When he reached the camp, oh god the screams of the raiders, he almost felt sorry for the criminals,He let the man lead him to his family.They were locked in a cage, set up with terrible conditions."Maria, Sarah! Calm down, this man will free us!Won't you?"he glanced at Aran."Yes! Stand back, and don't touch."Aran brought out a plasma cutter from his bag and cut the bars, freeing the family.They all left, heading back to his makeshift camp. They all slept there that night, until a mutant decided to wander towards them.It stumbled over to Aran's tent, first.Unfortunately, Aran was a heavy sleeper, and was bitten, leaving a scar."Ahhhhh!" The man,who's name was revealed to be Steven, tore off the mutant and smacked him good, and hard with a wrench. Steven and his family rushed to the nearest settlement, so Aran could get some medical attention. He came out with a scar and the thanks from steven, but was still haunted from the human look of that mutant...
Well...Hard to believe that you are so well gifted from graduating high school and now know robotics so well especially at such a young age. Your back story is too short and your metagaming is slightly incorrect but you understand it enough so thats fine.

How does your character act? Sybil is neutral, has some leadership experiences, and is calm in certain situations. However, he is haunted by the past and has a strong hatred for the 'bots who roam the land.

+Very strong, and is able to fight many people. He is a built figure.
+Obviously a great miner.
-Not very agile. Does not have quick speed, nor can he get out of buildings fast. So, he is not the best scavenger. Also, this may cost him something in certain battles. (In roleplay, I may not sprint.)
-His hatred for robots makes him discriminate them, causing him to not trust people of that kind. This can lead to some bad leadership decisions.

Describe an example of your character in great suffering and pain (RP, and Long): The roads are long and dusty. My friend Jonas and I come to a building, once owned by IntraCorp. We enter the building. It is deserted, as usual. Some mutants, but nothing much.
"Let's see if we can get some batteries and get the hell out." Jonas says.
"Got that one. This isn't exactly my favorite place to be right now. Too many memories."
"I feel ya'." he says, "The past isn't the most fun place to visit." We chuckle a bit.
Some basic weapons, robot parts, which I spit on as I usually do. Then we find the batteries.
Jonas tells me he wants to explore upstairs a bit. Why not? I think to myself. There is loot in every corner. We find more and more mutants. I am starting to think we hit the jackpot. Some water, scraps of food, and we even found one piece of dynamite! Perfect for a combat situation. Up and up we go. We find bountiful amounts of loot - we hit the jackpot. We finally make it to the roof. Remnants of a radio tower are still there. This one was destroyed. From behind me, I hear the click of a gun being pulled back. How could he do it?
"Time to finish this. You are the third sucker to fall for this. But, you. This guy! You are the one I had to stay 3 months with to gain your trust!" he exclaimed, "just another fool."
I am angry. I turn around. "What are you? You are the man with a past, with such a deep history, and really cared for me? You're ! How could you point a gun at me after all we have been through?"
"The real monsters of this world are the living - and you should know that."
He readies his gun. Just in time - the mutant is inches behind him. He turns to fight the thing behind him. Then I lunge. The pickaxe goes straight in to his throat. He makes a gurgling sound. As his life fades away, I am in tears. He left me! It is his fault, not mine! The only friend I have had in a broken world. Now it is taken away. It's over. The body collapses. But, I take the gun. I should not have to be alone. I put the gun to my temple, ready to pull.
"The real monsters of this world are the living." echoes in my head. I can't bring myself to do it. With sorrow and tears, I move on. I am not going to become one of them. One of the monsters. Time to move on, find another true living in the wasteland.

Yes, the server is populated.
One thing though, they didn't have radios back then, it wasn't until the 2060's. But considering that you obviously put a lot of effort into this and the overall quality I'll let it slide.
Also could you make your skin look more rugged? Add some dirt or something. I mean he should be extra dirty considering that he was a Miner AND is living in the wasteland.

metagaming is the act of gaming against basic rules; using outside knowledge in RP that your character shouldn't know, giving your character unfair advantages or skills, making your character better beyond supposed limits, etc...
powergaming-
powergaming is basically ignoring the enviorment of the game to better your character in ways that (in that enviorment for example) should be impossible, or hard.

Born in a metal shack in the middle of a desolate forest. Father was killed before he was born. Orion grew up knowing 2 people his mother and his brother. Orion with a quick look around rushed across the desolate street a quick flash of him as he rushed under the lamplight.
Wizzzz as an arrow went by his head.
"I thought u were covering me jeremy" Orion screeched
wooo wooo as a few more arrows went hurtling towards Orion
"AAhhh" Hollared Orion
Jeremy from behind the car rushed across the street to Orion.
Jeremy could see a giant cut across the back of Orion's coat and a thick red liquid rushing out.
Jeremy Full of adrenaline picked up Orion and carried him back across the street,out into the overgrown grass field. Orion moaning in pain.
After a length of time Jeremy drenched in sweat layed down Orion. Orion dead silent except from the slight sound of him breathing.
Jeremy on the verge of blacking out ripped up his shirt shoving onto Orions wound.Orion Waking up from the shot of pain starts screaming at the top of his lungs. Jeremy finally blacks out. Orion turns over and looks at Jeremy assuming he is dead starts weeping. He then proceeds to curl into the fetal position slowing weeping to himself over his thought to be dead brothers body.

Your character's story so far: She was born shortly after the moon was split in to bits and the asteroids fell like rain. Her parents had both died long ago, when she was young. She was raised by her brother, Alfred, who did his best to teach Camille everything he knew about the land and his skills. They traveled often. She grew to be fast and strong, so she could help her brother. But Alfred soon fell ill, and passed away while she sat at his bed side.

Home. It had always been just a word to her. A word that did not make sense, a word that did not fully exist in her mind. Her home had always been with her older brother Alfred. But now that he was ill, she hadn't any idea what she would do. There wasn't a doctor for miles... and she could not leave him.
"It's funny, Cami. I was always the one taking care of you," Alfred smiled over at her. He was so pale, his hair had already started to grey from the stress and hard work, his lips were blue. The sickly pale boy in front of her was nothing like her older brother, and yet, he was.
"It's time to return the favor, that's all," she replied, holding his hand.
"Even after all of this, you're all grown up. I hope I did a good job, sis."
"You did, Alfie."
"...I'm sorry," Alfred frowned.
"Don't start apologizing again," Camille tried her best to smile.
"No, I really mean it." He said. She could tell that he was already starting to pass out again.
"C'mon," she lightly slapped his cheek, "stay with me, here. Just a little longer, the doctor is on his way. Please, Alfie. Don't sleep yet."
"Sorry, sis, I'm tired.. Really, really tired.." he smiled, "take care, hun." Alfred closed his eyes.
"Alfie, come on." Camille said, her smile fading. She slapped his cheek again, "Alfie, come on. Wake up.. please wake up." And yet, he didn't wake. She sat there as the pain and realization hit her like a hurricane. Tears welled up, and fell. "Alfred Lancaster, wake up, god dammit!" She shouted, "Don't just sit there, answer me!" There couldn't have been any more air in the world at the time, and yet, she felt as if she was suffocating.

Your character's story so far:
Aran was a teen, always hovering over his latest work, and for him, his work always had to do with robotics. From new mobility designs to weapon designs, which were always failures, for he never found anyone who would fund his research.
His parents always wanted him to be a miner, and stay in his hometown, Rockvale, to work in the local pure mines, not a "gearhead"
Aran has learned that life traveling in the wasteland is tough, and that he has to learn that you must be smart and resourceful if you want to travel the wastes.He has lived in at least 10 different settlements, making friends that wanted to come along, but he had to make them stay, for he feared what would happen if they made a mistake out there.
He even met a medic, Cassy, who took a liking to him after she treated him when he ran into some fuelbots. They always talk on the radio, promising to visit her every so often, and when he needed medical help. She wishes she could stay with him, and go across the wasteland and help him when he needs it.
Along on his adventures, he found a settlement COMPLETELY based on robotics, they did everything for them! From mining to cleaning. Aran has spent more time than usual here, learning many valuable lessons in robotics, in exchange for a few green stones, of course. He left recently, eager to learn more and put his lessons to the test!
Does or did your character have any companions or family? He travels with a small bot, to keep him company. He also has a mother & father at home, who will give him refuge if he needs it.

They killed 'em all, all the raiders, but my family is still locked up!"the man was obviously desperate, Aran was naive, and thought he could save everyone who was in need, so he went with the man.When he reached the camp, oh god the screams of the raiders, he almost felt sorry for the criminals,He let the man lead him to his family.They were locked in a cage, set up with terrible conditions."Maria, Sarah! Calm down, this man will free us!Won't you?"he glanced at Aran."Yes! Stand back, and don't touch."Aran brought out a plasma cutter from his bag and cut the bars, freeing the family.They all left, heading back to his makeshift camp. They all slept there that night, until a mutant decided to wander towards them.It stumbled over to Aran's tent, first.Unfortunately, Aran was a heavy sleeper, and was bitten, leaving a scar."Ahhhhh!" The man,who's name was revealed to be Steven, tore off the mutant and smacked him good, and hard with a wrench. Steven and his family rushed to the nearest settlement, so Aran could get some medical attention. He came out with a scar and the thanks from steven, but was still haunted from the human look of that mutant...
