However one fatefull day a trading ship from Skyrim, Tamriel came with a shipment of miscellaneous seafood. Several of the fish had diseases in them. An outbreak had occurred in Skyrim and fish trades were cut off. The people who had just sold the whole island fish were scamming them out their money. Her father never saw her, he was always at the hospital trying his best to cure the epidemic that was cast over the island. Mikale vouched to her father that she would become a great Healer. Name: Gerich
Nickname: (Optional)
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Race: Imperial
Appearance: Five foot, 11 inches tall with a in-shape body. His black, greying hair is tucked into his leather hood.Most often he wears a tan cloth shirt with a leather strap across his chest and large leather belt around his waist. His pants are a dark red with leather on the knees. The boots he wears are a basic dark leather and he has only one scar on his left calf.
Personality: Cheerful and well spoken. He enjoys others company and avoids arguments or disagreements.
In-game RP example: (Include dialog) Gerich is travelling away from town when a seemingly injured man bursts through the tree line. Gerich listens to the man as he decides if the stranger is a threat to him, looking for a sign of fake injuries or anyone nearby. After the man finishes explaining what had happened to him he asks for his map; Gerich decides the man isn't going to hurt him and allows the ragged man to mark the map. "The nearest town is a half days walk the way I came" Gerich tells the stranger after he finishes talking. "Would you like any help? You do not look healthy". The man nods with a sense of humbleness, Gerich allows the man to put his weight on his own shoulder as he begins walking back to the town he came from. As they travel Gerich asks about the camp and how he ended up there. As the man explains he was captured while hunting for himself and only escaped because the bandits that took him had forgotten to lock his cell. The two continue walking until the sun begins to set as the pair begin setting up camp for the night, planning to continue to the safety of town the following morning.
I added another story because I felt inspired
Gerich is sitting on an old,splintering stool at the Snake Inn bar; enjoying his small mug of ale. He spends most the night taking sips from the mug as he makes small talk with the bartender and other patrons. Midnight passes with the drunks and the ladies of the night slowly dwindling until Gerich is left with the barkeep and two other customers. "Ok Avik I am cutting you off" the barkeep says while placing his hand on the redguards' wooden mug. "You better get your *hic* damn hands off" the heavily drunken redguard threatens while pulling his mug back towards himself. "Or you'll do what, Avik? Punch me? This is the only pub you have to drink at, you best behave" the barkeep replies in a condescending tone as he once again reaches for the mug. "Get away from me you dirty nord" Avik pulls back, stumbling, as he stands up from his stool and lifts the wooden mug above his head. "I will drink asss much as I damn *hic* please!" he slurs his words out before smashing the mug into the side of the nords head as he yells. The other man at the bar jumps up after watching his barkeep getting smashes over the head. Gerich and the other bar patron stand up and attempt to grab at the mans flailing arms as he yells racial profanities and curses at them. "Just calm down" the stranger repeats to the man as he becomes increasingly violent. "Just stop fighting us" Gerich begs as he attempts to once again grab at the mans arms. "Don't touch me, scum!" the drunken redguard yells as he swings a punch at Gerichs jaw, knocking him out cold. Gerich wakes up, groggy and hungover, in one of the rooms above the bar. After a few minutes to collect his thoughts he wanders downstairs and into the bar to ask what happened as he forgot most of the night before. "Ah you're awake and alive" a woman greets him from behind the bar. "Uh I suppose I am.." Gerich replies as he looks for the barkeep from the night before. "Looking for Harald?" the woman asks Gerich as she cleans the counter. "If he was the man serving me the night before." he sits down at the bar and gestures for a glass of water. "Well he is over at Demenas house being healed up by some of her potions or whatever it is she uses." the barmaid serves him a warm glass of water as she continues "he got bashed over the head and we just about lost him. The drunken idiot who did it is in the cell near the fountain right now" she points out the window towards the fountain. "Ah it is starting to come back to me" Gerich takes a drink from his water as he thinks about the night before......
Background: (Be detailed and in-depth. Also explain how you came to be in Akavir.)
Gerich was raised in a small farm town a few miles from the Imperial City. He was raised to hunt, farm, and preserve food. He had made friends with most of the children in town before his parents began to lose their minds. Not long after his mom began accusing other townsfolk of attempting to poison her Gerichs father began packing and moved them away from town. He told Gerich that they were traveling to see new things when in reality his mother was on the brink of insanity. Gerich spent most his teen years traveling from town to town until his father decided it was time to settle down again, away from everyone else. His father and mother built a cabin far away from the Imperial City, in the thick woods. Gerich decided he did not want to spend his life with his crazy mother and father hiding away from the world. He set out to explore the land for a few years before hearing about the continent of Akavir. After a few months of preparation he set out for the biggest adventure of his life. He chartered a boat to take him to this continent he had heard so many speak of. Gerich arrived in Akavir when he was twenty-two years old.He had not brought his parents with him as they had lost their minds. His parents believed that there were people out to kill them, although nobody was after them and his parents were just loony. Gerich lived alone, always traveling. He spent most his days hunting, caring for plants and cooking. He decided to explore a new area 14 days before his birthday and traveled until just before sunset. Gerich arrived in a small town he had never been to about thirteen days before his 23rd birthday. He managed to find work as a wood-workers assistant, living in the mans attic bedroom for a few years as he learned and saved the money he would need to travel. soon after his 23rd birthday Gerich said goodbye to his friends in town and set out to explore the amazing land he had dreamed of every night.
How did you find us?: I found Akavir on the MC Forums back in 2012. This was way back before it even started.
What Roleplay experience do you have?: I've got over 5 years of roleplay experience, and in many different mediums and genres. I've had an extensive time roleplaying in various Minecraft RP servers up until recently. I've decided to make my permanent stay on RP-Craft.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Meta-gaming is the act of using information learned OOCly in an IC manner.
For example. If you learned that the Count of a Colony City is going to kill you in a Skype call, You cannot know about it in ICly and hide from him.
Define Power-gaming in your words: Power-Gaming is the act of taking control of another persons character, or autohitting someones character.
For Example:
Joe: *throws axe at Dave, the axe hitting him in the face*
This would be considered power gaming because he didn't give Dave the chance to dodge.
Define God-Modding in your words: God-Modding is the act of making your character the best at everthing at he/she/it ever does.
For example;
Your character cannot dodge every single attack, and land every single hit. You also cannot punch stones into tiny baby stones, or rip a tree from the ground like the twig you think it is.
**In Character**
Name: Enarvyne Thiralas
Age: 90
Gender: Female
Race: Dunmer
Appearance: Enarvyne stands at around 5"6. She is a very slender woman, but her mages robes encover most of her body. Enarvyne's face is angular, and her high cheekbones define her face. She has piercing light red eyes, and long, thin fingers. Her long, billowing white hair falls down from her head. However, It is usually tied back in a ponytail, with her bangs still hanging over her face.
Personality: Since her stay with the Telvanni in Morrowind, her personality has grown more introverted. She is no longer the timid, frail little girl that arrived in Akavir. She only seems to care about those close to her, and other Telvanni. Enarvyne no longer jumps at the slightest scare, but seems to be fearless. It seems she has completely changed from what others use to know.
In-game RP example:
Background:
Born to a rich merchant in a manor just about half a mile from the Imperial City, Enarvyne was sheltered as a child, and never got outside the manor in which she lived. Her mother and father seemed distraught on keeping her away from anything that could possibly harm her. When she showed an interest in magic in her adoloscent years, Her parents outright refused. This caused Enarvyne to begin to sneak out whenever she could, and attempt to find someone to teach her magic. She found a Breton named Varath who offered to teach her the few spells he knew. Enarvyne was too naive to understand not to trust a complete stranger. She learned this lesson the hard way when Varath kidnapped her, and attempted to ransom her off to her parents. Her parents reacted by hiring enough mercenaries to siege a small city. The army of sellswords completely eradicated the small band of bandits, and rescued Enarvyne, who was in shock from the whole ordeal.
Another incident like this happened when Enarvyne's father had left on business matters. One of his household guards decided he was going to quit this particular job by "having his way" with the young Enarvyne. He opened her door in the dead of night, and cupped his hands over her mouth. She awoke immediately, kicking and fighting, but no match for the seasoned soldier. She bit at his finger, causing him to lift his hand off of her, and for her to let off a blood curdling scream. This awoke Enarvyne's mother, who rushed to her room. Enarvyne had collapsed of shock, and the soldier was getting ready. Enarvyne's mother burst into the room, and held an ebony dagger at the would-be defiler. He rose up off her unconscious daughter, and made his way towards her. She threw down the dagger, and electricity began to course through her hand. The soldier didn't seem to notice, his eyes set on the prize. Enarvyne's mother released a bolt of lightning, aimed directly at the mans head. It was a direct hit, causing him to sprawl out over the floor, lifeless.
Her Parents kept an even tighter lock on her, always having a servant watching over her.. This continued until she was about 70. During this time, She went through the many changes a normal child would experience going into young adulthood, except, she couldn't act on them. She was alone, and felt isolated from anyone else. She absolutely hated this. She struck out of the house, completely cutting all ties with her family. Taking enough gold to buy passage on a ship, and to buy an outfit of mages robes. She went as far as to change her last name to Thiralas, so her parents couldn't track her with the ship ledgers. She was off to a new life, and she was completely and utterly terrified of what lied ahead.
When Enarvyne arrived in Akavir, She was completely terrified and frightened. She wandered around the town of Abel Mon, asking for work, something that could secure her food. She wandered into a tavern and met Vivianna. One thing led to another, and Enarvyne ended up giggling and rolling around on the floor after drinking two mugs of ale. After sobering up, Enarvyne left the Tavern and began to wander Akavir. She ran into the Telvanni, Fadril. She instantly decided that was who she would stick with in this strange land.
How your character survived Akavir: Enarvyne had left Akavir on a ship following Fadril's. She was headed for/already in Telvanni lands when the disaster happened. Upon heading off to Port Telvannis she would have continued to apprentice under Fadril, who after returning, became the Arch-Magister. As she advanced in her studies, she would have eventually rose to the rank of Mouth, meaning that she was tasked with attending the meetings of the Telvanni Mage Lords in Fadril's place, as well as become Enarvyne's right hand woman. The reason she has returned to Akavir, was to watch over Varos for Fadril.

Define Power-gaming in your words:When your character gains some kind of strength or some inhuman power that in a real world he could not use, for example gaining super human strength and bashing a door in with his fists. Define God-modding in your words: God modding is when your character acts like a god, he is invincible and would have great powers beyond the characters true powers, such as lifting massive boulders or smashing a house with their fists

-The bandit runs off dropping his weapon, Duren walks off looking for a place to stay the night- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Background: (Detailed and in-depth, 2 paragraphs. Also, explain how you came to be in Akavir.). Duren was born a few years after the peace in Skyrim. His Dad fought in the stormcloak army and taught his son how to use an axe and a bow in-case war that size would ever break out again. He prepared his son and he made protections to their home but he forgot what it meant to be a father. Duren didn't have the compassion in his life of other Nords and he had a sad childhood, once his father died his mother fell sick and he had to care for her 6 months until she passed away. His Brother was born a year before his dad passed away and he was left to care for him. His brother and him were happy but barely got by, Duren wanted to try and get married making tending to his household easier. He went out to search for a suitable wife and left his brother at home, after a long night he found one lady and promised to visit again but as he came home his brother was gone. Duren looked all over until he saw his back-fence was broken down. Duren looked for a whole day and got his friends to look as well but they didn't find his brother.
Duren had no family left he was broken, something snapped in him, he went to the nearest Tavern and drank his troubles away. He became a wandering drunk exchanging stories he heard for mead. After half a year he stumbled upon a lonesome household and heard yelling from inside. He quickly ran up to the wall, looking inside. He saw two Nord men raping a woman in-front of her child and the man of the household was knocked out on the floor. Duren gripped his fathers axe and rushed in, killing one man and knocking out the other. He helped the women get everything in order and helped tend to the man for a day. When he was ready to leave the family offered gifts, he turned them down and walked off. He finally realized he could do good and stopped looking at the sorrow in his life, but his taste for Mead had grown into an addiction and he continued to wander telling stories, but he knew he had a purpose and he was determined to find it. When he got word of the colony in Akavir he thought he would find his answers there, he didn't know why but he set off anyway selling all his belongings for the passage across.
After spending time within Akavir and finding an order that accepted him, known as the Vanguard of Akatosh. He lived and fought with his brothers for a while, exploring the lands of Akavir and getting into predicaments. After a good few months he decided to visit Skyrim to see how his homeland had progressed. He took the next ship back to Skyrim to observe what happened. He went to the old house the family lived in and found that it was burned, probably during a war of some kind. He traveled to his old house which was now a small community, with a nice population. Duren stayed there for some time helping the people finish building their homes, and digging their well. He was in return given their finest brewed mead and to rest in his home. Duren then left once again and traveled Skyrim, visiting the cities and checking on how the political structure of Skyrim changed.
Duren had had enough of reminiscing of his home and decided to return to Akavir. He hadn't heard of the events that happened on Akavir while he was away and was surprised to see there was no ships leaving for Septimia. He took a ship to a port known as Able Mon, he was briefed on what had happened on Akavir and was frightened for the lives of his Vanguard brothers. Duren wanted to find them, he wanted to find the man who gave him a chance, Valkrae and make sure he was still alive.

How did you find us? I found you through a youtube video when I was looking to find a RP server for Minecraft.
What Role play experience do you have? I have had about 8 months worth of role play experience on a DayZ server, actually I'm a well known community member there because of my role play/role play journals.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Meta gaming is basically taking anything OOC and using it to your own advantage (for instance you get someones name through chat and you immediately say it, even though they did not give you there name.)
Define Power-gaming in your words: Power gaming is using text RP to try and get yourself out of a sticky situation. EX: *Carl places the arrow in between Kyle's eyes, but he is 400 meters away and that would be impossible. Define God-Modding in your words: God-modding would be making your character unfair above all other characters. EX: Rick points the gun at Daryl but Daryl IG types in chat: *Takes ricks gun with special karate moves* for the sake to get out of him being killed.
**In Character**
Name: Carib Jodar
Nickname: (Optional) None
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Race: Breton
Appearance: Carib wears a dark green hood, usually fashioned with weak leather armor and some brandish cheap medal vembraces. He keeps his hood on when outside but likes to take it off when he goes in to more of a 'people' place, such as a Pub. He wears black pants and of coarse some leather boots that almost appear worn.
Personality: Carib tends to himself mainly, and does not enjoy most's company. However, he can be sarcastic in such a way that he almost comes off as a nice guy. He likes to learn new things about history, and is smart, but just has to take a minute to actually think through a problem.
In-game RP example: "So, how is it Carib?" The merchant asked smiling down at me from his wagon. "Aye, It's a fine short blade, I'll tell you that mate." I said softly feeling the cold steel blade. "I must thank you again for the ride, or I probably would have never made it to Akavir." I said scratching my chin. "Oh it's no worries, with a tough looking fellow such as yourself we shouldn't have problems with the common bandit, ha, I can't say for an army of coarse." Carib looks down whilst walking along the dirt road, unsure that his past will come back to haunt him, but happy that he has a bit of peace. "It isn't a bandit or an army I'm worried about, my only worry is not making coin." The merchant chuckled, "Aren't we all?" He said sarcastically.
Background: Ex pirate turned good, Carib was a simple sea bandit as most would call it. Plundering upon any and all merchant ships that passed by, him and his crew of pirates both became so successful they become some of the most wanted criminals of Tamriel. It was all going good until one day, Carib with his ship captain Ulthrick attacked a ship that even they thought was to much for them. It turns out, it was, and his whole crew was captured from the remains of the ship or drowned to death due to the hard storm. Remarkably, Carib made it out alive, but he was now in the ocean, using only a piece of wood that came from his abandoned wreck. For four days, Carib paddled about, knowing not of where he was going, only hoping that he would reach land. As soon as he hit shore, he passed out on the sand due to exhaustion. It was until Carib was spotted by a travelling merchant, who with the kindness he had, saved him from starving to death. He asked about Caribs' story, but had only told a fake story of his ship being attacked by brutal pirates. The merchant believed him, and let him come accompany him to Akavir, where along the way was given better clothing. His green hoodie that was merely meant for Rangers'. It was a long ride, and along the way he learned the many uses of weaponry the merchant had to offer inside his wagon, but he was no expert after all, it was only his swordsmanship that proved his strong suit. On a passing village, nervous as Carib was, found out that many people that saw his face believed him to be dead, and his bounty was already turned in, giving him a clean slate. He took this as an opportunity. The opportunity to finally live a free man, to be an honest man of honest work. He saw the opportunity in Akavir. When the day came and he finally made it to Akavir, he thanked the merchant and they both went on there own ways. He began to do simple work, and the simple work made him furious, because he believed he just wasn't making enough coin. Carib will now use the skills he had used in the past for the better, and to become a man for hire, be it for quests or for his own expense. What is up to Carib now, is the decisions he makes, be it he follows a good path, or a bad one.
In Caribs' childlife, he wasn't exactly as privileged as most, as his father was a Imperial soldier and was almost never there for him. He had parents at least, and at first he began his dark ways through simple pickpockets to support his family, as he got older he wanted more and more gold, and was tired of being a petty thief. When his mother died he took it as an opportunity to finally do what his mother did not want him to do. To grow a pair of sea legs and rob the rich of its goods, and to make a killing so that he may come back to land as a king. As you can see, that plan did not go well for him.

Why us?: I heard a lot of really good things from some of the players that are currently on your server. Plus, I really like Minecraft and the Elder Scroll Series, so if they're together, then it's even better!
Have you voted for us at Planet Minecraft?: Not yet, but I will as soon as this app gets accepted.
Define Role-Playing in your words: (See front page for examples) Acting in the way a percieved character would. Adding in "life" and personality to someone thing or someone of your own creation and imagination.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Using Out of Character knowledge, that only the player would know, to his/her advantage. I.e. If you find out someone is going to try to murder your character Out Of Character, and using that knowledge to avoid it, rather than letting what the original event/plan happening. Or even finding out who the murderer is, and attempting to kill them using the OOC knowledge.
Define Power-gaming in your words: When a character is absurdly overpowered or seemingly bends the rules and laws of the server. I.e. Skin is comparable to the best armor in game, and is invulnerable to weapons.

He'd bring a hand to the top of the cage, before flipping off the lid, and grasping the small creature. " It's okay, little one. You are far to small to eat. " He'd whisper quietly, running a talon through it's fur. The rabbit would still be un-moving, almost appearing in a death like state. A toothy smirk would spread across his face, before setting the little beast down. Without hesitation, it was gone in a flash. Bruntisk would chuckle loudly, watching it go. " Now then, I cannot go back home empty-handed! " The Ka Po' Tun would pick up the cage, and disappear into the woods.
Background: (Detailed and in-depth, 2 paragraphs. Also, explain how you came to be in Akavir.) Bruntisk was born into a military family, as are all Ka Po' Tun. At his birth, he was already destined to be a powerful warrior. In his adolescence, he proved himself to be a very capable fighter, preferring close range over all other things. However, just because he was the "perfect" warrior, doesn't mean he wanted to become one. He went though his training without a hitch, and also learned about the powerful dragons that his people had once housed. He was fascinated! He had to learn more. And that he did. Any time that wasn't spent honing his skills were put to use learning all that he could of these ancient beasts.
However, in his studies, he learned that these beasts had seemingly gone extinct! How on earth can these magnificent creatures die off? Sure, th damned snake-men were to blame, but surely they hadn't killed -all- of them. He had to know. As soon as Bruntisk finished his schooling, he immediately set out on his own. He had to know. And there was nothing that could stop him!
As a side note, he also found out that Skooma Kills!
As another side note, i'm not sure if the way I made the application works. I read both the wiki, the forum information, and looked through all the past apps, and nothing had anything really about their age, or any time of xenophobic tendances, and a lot of other things.
How your character survived Akavir: (Read "How to Survive" above): Bruntisk had grown bored of the land of Akavir, already exploring and adventuring a crossed most of the land. However, his lust for travel wasn't sated, not yet. A ship to Tamriel happened to appear not long after, and the male took it without further thought. Months had passed, and word of the Infernal age of Akavir made it's way into the wood the 'dragon' made his home. With the fate of home lingering on his mind, he halted his exploration, and took the first passing ship, thoughts of adventure erupting in his brain.

What RolePlay experience do you have, other than Akavir?: SoOF, Four Stars, Akavir, Multiple Skype RPs, Reclamation, AoOF. In that order.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Always loved answering this in applications.
Meta-gaming. The act of out of character influence being implemented into your character's actions, or knowledge. If my tired mind isn't structuring words to the readers liking, it's using the role players mentality to shift their characters judgement, actions, mentality, knowledge, etc.
Define Power-gaming in your words: Many people all say the same thing on this question, and I know, fourth wall broken. But honestly, what power gaming is, it's expanding your characters logical power, or capabilities.
This question also makes me wish there was a different word for forcing actions on others; this second form of "power-gaming" whatever it's seen fit to be called, is having a action, or anything else that fits in the category of "inflicted by another", forced on a player's character, without their consent, or response.
Define God-Modding in your words: In short words, minimizing taken damage. Technical, this can be a wide varray of things. From dodging a bullet, to getting stabbed in that -perfect- spot where your unharmed.

Name: Amphelice Wylde
Nickname: Amph, Amm, Alice
Age: 38
Gender: Female
Race: Nord
Appearance: She's quite a weathered folk. Battered by the occasional gruff scar, and bruise. Her face is tanned, accompanied by stress lines, subtle wrinkles, and a small scar on her right temple. Her hair is a deep brown, slightly frizzled and un-kept. Long, and without shine. A look of emptiness usually shows in her eyes.. Odd, when competing with a semi-real expression of neutrality in her body language. She wears a faded white robe, to which runs down to her feet. Wrinkled, and weathered in all it's glory. A tear sewn tear every here and there, perhaps a occasional drop of dried blood. Worn. On her feet, she wears battered leather shoes. Dirty, and worn, as the rest of her appeal.
Personality: Perhaps it may be pretended, her attitudes. Shifty, and unable to maintain. A smile may be shown when crossed with something pleasing, although a frown may be present the rest of the time. Depressed isn't quite the word. Nervousness is all that lingers in her permanently.
In a summary, She's unknowing of how to feel. Hiding behind faked smiles, or perhaps allowing her inner grief to show. Crossed.
Example of in-game RP conflict between two characters:
A Nordic tavern, located somewhere in southern Skyrim. With a setting sun in the distance, candles are lit for lighting on the interior. It's slow. People lingers, quiet. Beside the keeper, to whom is irritably scrubbing mugs with a battered rag behind the counter.
Amphelice resides in the corner, at a small wooden table placed beneath a mounted deer head. She calmly sips mead from a glass bottle, keeping her gaze to herself.
Time passes on, and a few more bottles follow, before the silence is broken.
Two armored men storm in, taking the bar tender by the collar. Hollering out what seems incoherent to Amphelice.
The second man angrily kicks a robed kajiit from his chair, onto the floor. Which follows with him, and the other passive dwellers of the tavern to scramble away.
She rises from her chair, after inhaling a hearty gulp. Looking over the two armored men. One shouts at her to leave, as the other collects the man's septims.
"..please leave" The unhappy, somewhat slurred words escape her mouth. Causing the armored man to chuckle. He pulls a dagger from his belt, pointing to her head.
"Last chance to leave, lady" He sternly states to her. He moves towards her, keeping the knife raised as a threat.
Amphelice maintains her unhappy emotion. Slipping her hand from the base of the glass bottle to the brim.
He nears her, keeping the knife prepared. She spits the un-swallowed gulp of mead into the mans face, as she brings her foot into a strong kick. The man is nailed between the legs, Shouting out, and clutching himself. She swings the bottle with all her might, and shatters it against his head. He's sent to the floor, downed.
The second man looks to her, having been alerted by the scream of agony. Pulling an iron sword from it's sheath. He begins to approach her, speaking angrily.
His words are blurred to Amphelice.. simple mumbles. As if above herself.
The approaching man soon finds a blade jamming into his neck. Twisting around as he collapsed limp. The bartender stands there, rough, and wrinkled from the manhandling. He spits onto the mans corpse, before unhappily retrieving his knife.
Amphelice then returns to her seat quietly, shutting her eyes
Background: (pre-Akavir) She was born in High Rock, where she was raised mostly indoors due to the harsh weather outside. She was raised alone, an only child. with her happily wedded parents. When she became 15, her father began to teach her how to hunt. At age 16, a avalanche wiped out her home, where her, and her parents had to leave the harsh weather of High Rock. They fled to Skyrim, to try to get to slightly less worse climates. There they lived getting by in Dragon's reach. She got a job as a bard for a tavern, and maintained it for a few years. Her family struggled, but managed. As She grew older, she wanted to leave Dragon's reach, and did exactly that when she turned 22. She traveled north, where she joined the crew of a mapping ship, where she got to explore the world. At the age of 28, that ship had made a voyage to Akavir. Getting sick of the ocean, she decided its time to settle down, and entered the land of Akavir.
(post-Akavir) She soon found herself becoming a friend to many. She soon swore herself to a man in eternal partnership. Purchasing a small farm outside the thriving septima. After some time passed by, she found herself pregnant. Confused.. yet also excited. Less than a year later, she gave birth to Drake Wylde.. things went on peacefully up onto the point her and her husband divorced. He attempted to murder her, and left her terrified of him. She had him killed. With the money from selling the farm, and what her husband left her, she purchased a large mansion. Where her and her son lived for quite some time.. Before they knew it, Akavir was collapsing into chaos, so Amph and her son fled with Fadril and Mabrella, a wealthy couple. Her and her son lived with them for a few years, up until the day Drake ran away. Fearful old enemies in Akavir took him, she soon set sail to return in hopes of finding him.

Skooma Kills and thank you for the helpful tips and also letting me apply again.
A while back I applied for this server, and was denied two times, I believe. I don't think there is good enough communication between the people who accept the apps, because each time I fixed the problems that were brought up, a different admin would give me a whole page of other problems that weren't brought up the first time.
After the second time I applied an admin told me that I must be 13 to apply, even though I was turning thirteen in a month, but I think that's fair. Anyway, I'm 13 now, so I'd just like to tell you guys that I probably won't be re-applying.

For example;

Define Role-Playing in your words: Playing a role of an imaginary or real character, and doing actions the way that certain figure would act them out, essentially playing a roll.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: When your character somehow gains information of something that could or could not pertain to him, and he uses it even if in a real world knowing this information would be impossible.
Define Power-gaming in your words: When your character gains some kind of strength or some inhuman power that in a real world he could not use, for example gaining super human strength and bashing a door in with his fists.
Define God-modding in your words: God modding is when your character acts like a god, he is invincible and would have great powers beyond the characters true powers, such as lifting massive boulders or smashing a house with their fists

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Background: (Detailed and in-depth, 2 paragraphs. Also, explain how you came to be in Akavir.).
Duren was born a few years after the peace in Skyrim. His Dad fought in the stormcloak army and taught his son how to use an axe and a bow in-case war that size would ever break out again. He prepared his son and he made protections to their home but he forgot what it meant to be a father. Duren didn't have the compassion in his life of other Nords and he had a sad childhood, once his father died his mother fell sick and he had to care for her 6 months until she passed away. His Brother was born a year before his dad passed away and he was left to care for him. His brother and him were happy but barely got by, Duren wanted to try and get married making tending to his household easier. He went out to search for a suitable wife and left his brother at home, after a long night he found one lady and promised to visit again but as he came home his brother was gone. Duren looked all over until he saw his back-fence was broken down. Duren looked for a whole day and got his friends to look as well but they didn't find his brother.
Duren had no family left he was broken, something snapped in him, he went to the nearest Tavern and drank his troubles away. He became a wandering drunk exchanging stories he heard for mead. After half a year he stumbled upon a lonesome household and heard yelling from inside. He quickly ran up to the wall, looking inside. He saw two Nord men raping a woman in-front of her child and the man of the household was knocked out on the floor. Duren gripped his fathers axe and rushed in, killing one man and knocking out the other. He helped the women get everything in order and helped tend to the man for a day. When he was ready to leave the family offered gifts, he turned them down and walked off. He finally realized he could do good and stopped looking at the sorrow in his life, but his taste for Mead had grown into an addiction and he continued to wander telling stories, but he knew he had a purpose and he was determined to find it. When he got word of the colony in Akavir he thought he would find his answers there, he didn't know why but he set off anyway selling all his belongings for the passage across.
After spending time within Akavir and finding an order that accepted him, known as the Vanguard of Akatosh. He lived and fought with his brothers for a while, exploring the lands of Akavir and getting into predicaments. After a good few months he decided to visit Skyrim to see how his homeland had progressed. He took the next ship back to Skyrim to observe what happened. He went to the old house the family lived in and found that it was burned, probably during a war of some kind. He traveled to his old house which was now a small community, with a nice population. Duren stayed there for some time helping the people finish building their homes, and digging their well. He was in return given their finest brewed mead and to rest in his home. Duren then left once again and traveled Skyrim, visiting the cities and checking on how the political structure of Skyrim changed.
Duren had had enough of reminiscing of his home and decided to return to Akavir. He hadn't heard of the events that happened on Akavir while he was away and was surprised to see there was no ships leaving for Septimia. He took a ship to a port known as Able Mon, he was briefed on what had happened on Akavir and was frightened for the lives of his Vanguard brothers. Duren wanted to find them, he wanted to find the man who gave him a chance, Valkrae and make sure he was still alive.
How did you find us? I found you through a youtube video when I was looking to find a RP server for Minecraft.
What Role play experience do you have? I have had about 8 months worth of role play experience on a DayZ server, actually I'm a well known community member there because of my role play/role play journals.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Meta gaming is basically taking anything OOC and using it to your own advantage (for instance you get someones name through chat and you immediately say it, even though they did not give you there name.)
Define Power-gaming in your words: Power gaming is using text RP to try and get yourself out of a sticky situation. EX: *Carl places the arrow in between Kyle's eyes, but he is 400 meters away and that would be impossible.
Define God-Modding in your words: God-modding would be making your character unfair above all other characters. EX: Rick points the gun at Daryl but Daryl IG types in chat: *Takes ricks gun with special karate moves* for the sake to get out of him being killed.
**In Character**
Name: Carib Jodar
Nickname: (Optional) None
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Race: Breton
Appearance: Carib wears a dark green hood, usually fashioned with weak leather armor and some brandish cheap medal vembraces. He keeps his hood on when outside but likes to take it off when he goes in to more of a 'people' place, such as a Pub. He wears black pants and of coarse some leather boots that almost appear worn.
Personality: Carib tends to himself mainly, and does not enjoy most's company. However, he can be sarcastic in such a way that he almost comes off as a nice guy. He likes to learn new things about history, and is smart, but just has to take a minute to actually think through a problem.
In-game RP example: "So, how is it Carib?" The merchant asked smiling down at me from his wagon. "Aye, It's a fine short blade, I'll tell you that mate." I said softly feeling the cold steel blade. "I must thank you again for the ride, or I probably would have never made it to Akavir." I said scratching my chin. "Oh it's no worries, with a tough looking fellow such as yourself we shouldn't have problems with the common bandit, ha, I can't say for an army of coarse." Carib looks down whilst walking along the dirt road, unsure that his past will come back to haunt him, but happy that he has a bit of peace. "It isn't a bandit or an army I'm worried about, my only worry is not making coin." The merchant chuckled, "Aren't we all?" He said sarcastically.
Background: Ex pirate turned good, Carib was a simple sea bandit as most would call it. Plundering upon any and all merchant ships that passed by, him and his crew of pirates both became so successful they become some of the most wanted criminals of Tamriel. It was all going good until one day, Carib with his ship captain Ulthrick attacked a ship that even they thought was to much for them. It turns out, it was, and his whole crew was captured from the remains of the ship or drowned to death due to the hard storm. Remarkably, Carib made it out alive, but he was now in the ocean, using only a piece of wood that came from his abandoned wreck. For four days, Carib paddled about, knowing not of where he was going, only hoping that he would reach land. As soon as he hit shore, he passed out on the sand due to exhaustion. It was until Carib was spotted by a travelling merchant, who with the kindness he had, saved him from starving to death. He asked about Caribs' story, but had only told a fake story of his ship being attacked by brutal pirates. The merchant believed him, and let him come accompany him to Akavir, where along the way was given better clothing. His green hoodie that was merely meant for Rangers'. It was a long ride, and along the way he learned the many uses of weaponry the merchant had to offer inside his wagon, but he was no expert after all, it was only his swordsmanship that proved his strong suit. On a passing village, nervous as Carib was, found out that many people that saw his face believed him to be dead, and his bounty was already turned in, giving him a clean slate. He took this as an opportunity. The opportunity to finally live a free man, to be an honest man of honest work. He saw the opportunity in Akavir. When the day came and he finally made it to Akavir, he thanked the merchant and they both went on there own ways. He began to do simple work, and the simple work made him furious, because he believed he just wasn't making enough coin. Carib will now use the skills he had used in the past for the better, and to become a man for hire, be it for quests or for his own expense. What is up to Carib now, is the decisions he makes, be it he follows a good path, or a bad one.
In Caribs' childlife, he wasn't exactly as privileged as most, as his father was a Imperial soldier and was almost never there for him. He had parents at least, and at first he began his dark ways through simple pickpockets to support his family, as he got older he wanted more and more gold, and was tired of being a petty thief. When his mother died he took it as an opportunity to finally do what his mother did not want him to do. To grow a pair of sea legs and rob the rich of its goods, and to make a killing so that he may come back to land as a king. As you can see, that plan did not go well for him.
Why us?: I heard a lot of really good things from some of the players that are currently on your server. Plus, I really like Minecraft and the Elder Scroll Series, so if they're together, then it's even better!
Have you voted for us at Planet Minecraft?: Not yet, but I will as soon as this app gets accepted.
Define Role-Playing in your words: (See front page for examples) Acting in the way a percieved character would. Adding in "life" and personality to someone thing or someone of your own creation and imagination.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Using Out of Character knowledge, that only the player would know, to his/her advantage. I.e. If you find out someone is going to try to murder your character Out Of Character, and using that knowledge to avoid it, rather than letting what the original event/plan happening. Or even finding out who the murderer is, and attempting to kill them using the OOC knowledge.
Define Power-gaming in your words: When a character is absurdly overpowered or seemingly bends the rules and laws of the server. I.e. Skin is comparable to the best armor in game, and is invulnerable to weapons.
IC:
Name: Bruntisk Ven'rust
Nickname: (Optional) Brunt ; Ven
Age: 40
Gender: Male
Race: Ka Po' Tun
Appearance: Dark Orange/Redish fur. Jet black stripes across fur. Orange and blue eyes. Pretty bulky build, due to lifestyle. Tall (6' 7"). Tends to have wear light grey mail-mesh.
Personality: Rather friendly and accepting for his race. While he may always be a warrior by heart and trade, he is always looking for new companions. His faith is equal if not more than his other Ka Po' Tun. Can be quick to anger. Has a passion for nature and adventure.
In-game RP example: (Include dialog) Bruntisk would eye the rabbit, the small little creature frozen in fear of the massive predator before it. He'd bring a hand to the top of the cage, before flipping off the lid, and grasping the small creature. " It's okay, little one. You are far to small to eat. " He'd whisper quietly, running a talon through it's fur. The rabbit would still be un-moving, almost appearing in a death like state. A toothy smirk would spread across his face, before setting the little beast down. Without hesitation, it was gone in a flash. Bruntisk would chuckle loudly, watching it go. " Now then, I cannot go back home empty-handed! " The Ka Po' Tun would pick up the cage, and disappear into the woods.
Background: (Detailed and in-depth, 2 paragraphs. Also, explain how you came to be in Akavir.) Bruntisk was born into a military family, as are all Ka Po' Tun. At his birth, he was already destined to be a powerful warrior. In his adolescence, he proved himself to be a very capable fighter, preferring close range over all other things. However, just because he was the "perfect" warrior, doesn't mean he wanted to become one. He went though his training without a hitch, and also learned about the powerful dragons that his people had once housed. He was fascinated! He had to learn more. And that he did. Any time that wasn't spent honing his skills were put to use learning all that he could of these ancient beasts.
However, in his studies, he learned that these beasts had seemingly gone extinct! How on earth can these magnificent creatures die off? Sure, th damned snake-men were to blame, but surely they hadn't killed -all- of them. He had to know. As soon as Bruntisk finished his schooling, he immediately set out on his own. He had to know. And there was nothing that could stop him!
As a side note, he also found out that Skooma Kills!
As another side note, i'm not sure if the way I made the application works. I read both the wiki, the forum information, and looked through all the past apps, and nothing had anything really about their age, or any time of xenophobic tendances, and a lot of other things.
How your character survived Akavir: (Read "How to Survive" above): Bruntisk had grown bored of the land of Akavir, already exploring and adventuring a crossed most of the land. However, his lust for travel wasn't sated, not yet. A ship to Tamriel happened to appear not long after, and the male took it without further thought. Months had passed, and word of the Infernal age of Akavir made it's way into the wood the 'dragon' made his home. With the fate of home lingering on his mind, he halted his exploration, and took the first passing ship, thoughts of adventure erupting in his brain.
What RolePlay experience do you have, other than Akavir?: SoOF, Four Stars, Akavir, Multiple Skype RPs, Reclamation, AoOF. In that order.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Always loved answering this in applications.
Meta-gaming. The act of out of character influence being implemented into your character's actions, or knowledge. If my tired mind isn't structuring words to the readers liking, it's using the role players mentality to shift their characters judgement, actions, mentality, knowledge, etc.
Define Power-gaming in your words: Many people all say the same thing on this question, and I know, fourth wall broken. But honestly, what power gaming is, it's expanding your characters logical power, or capabilities.
This question also makes me wish there was a different word for forcing actions on others; this second form of "power-gaming" whatever it's seen fit to be called, is having a action, or anything else that fits in the category of "inflicted by another", forced on a player's character, without their consent, or response.
Define God-Modding in your words: In short words, minimizing taken damage. Technical, this can be a wide varray of things. From dodging a bullet, to getting stabbed in that -perfect- spot where your unharmed.
IC
Name: Amphelice Wylde
Nickname: Amph, Amm, Alice
Age: 38
Gender: Female
Race: Nord
Appearance: She's quite a weathered folk. Battered by the occasional gruff scar, and bruise. Her face is tanned, accompanied by stress lines, subtle wrinkles, and a small scar on her right temple. Her hair is a deep brown, slightly frizzled and un-kept. Long, and without shine. A look of emptiness usually shows in her eyes.. Odd, when competing with a semi-real expression of neutrality in her body language. She wears a faded white robe, to which runs down to her feet. Wrinkled, and weathered in all it's glory. A tear sewn tear every here and there, perhaps a occasional drop of dried blood. Worn. On her feet, she wears battered leather shoes. Dirty, and worn, as the rest of her appeal.
Personality: Perhaps it may be pretended, her attitudes. Shifty, and unable to maintain. A smile may be shown when crossed with something pleasing, although a frown may be present the rest of the time. Depressed isn't quite the word. Nervousness is all that lingers in her permanently.
In a summary, She's unknowing of how to feel. Hiding behind faked smiles, or perhaps allowing her inner grief to show. Crossed.
Example of in-game RP conflict between two characters:
A Nordic tavern, located somewhere in southern Skyrim. With a setting sun in the distance, candles are lit for lighting on the interior. It's slow. People lingers, quiet. Beside the keeper, to whom is irritably scrubbing mugs with a battered rag behind the counter.
Amphelice resides in the corner, at a small wooden table placed beneath a mounted deer head. She calmly sips mead from a glass bottle, keeping her gaze to herself.
Time passes on, and a few more bottles follow, before the silence is broken.
Two armored men storm in, taking the bar tender by the collar. Hollering out what seems incoherent to Amphelice.
The second man angrily kicks a robed kajiit from his chair, onto the floor. Which follows with him, and the other passive dwellers of the tavern to scramble away.
She rises from her chair, after inhaling a hearty gulp. Looking over the two armored men. One shouts at her to leave, as the other collects the man's septims.
"..please leave" The unhappy, somewhat slurred words escape her mouth. Causing the armored man to chuckle. He pulls a dagger from his belt, pointing to her head.
"Last chance to leave, lady" He sternly states to her. He moves towards her, keeping the knife raised as a threat.
Amphelice maintains her unhappy emotion. Slipping her hand from the base of the glass bottle to the brim.
He nears her, keeping the knife prepared. She spits the un-swallowed gulp of mead into the mans face, as she brings her foot into a strong kick. The man is nailed between the legs, Shouting out, and clutching himself. She swings the bottle with all her might, and shatters it against his head. He's sent to the floor, downed.
The second man looks to her, having been alerted by the scream of agony. Pulling an iron sword from it's sheath. He begins to approach her, speaking angrily.
His words are blurred to Amphelice.. simple mumbles. As if above herself.
The approaching man soon finds a blade jamming into his neck. Twisting around as he collapsed limp. The bartender stands there, rough, and wrinkled from the manhandling. He spits onto the mans corpse, before unhappily retrieving his knife.
Amphelice then returns to her seat quietly, shutting her eyes
Background:
(pre-Akavir) She was born in High Rock, where she was raised mostly indoors due to the harsh weather outside. She was raised alone, an only child. with her happily wedded parents. When she became 15, her father began to teach her how to hunt. At age 16, a avalanche wiped out her home, where her, and her parents had to leave the harsh weather of High Rock. They fled to Skyrim, to try to get to slightly less worse climates. There they lived getting by in Dragon's reach. She got a job as a bard for a tavern, and maintained it for a few years. Her family struggled, but managed. As She grew older, she wanted to leave Dragon's reach, and did exactly that when she turned 22. She traveled north, where she joined the crew of a mapping ship, where she got to explore the world. At the age of 28, that ship had made a voyage to Akavir. Getting sick of the ocean, she decided its time to settle down, and entered the land of Akavir.
(post-Akavir) She soon found herself becoming a friend to many. She soon swore herself to a man in eternal partnership. Purchasing a small farm outside the thriving septima. After some time passed by, she found herself pregnant. Confused.. yet also excited. Less than a year later, she gave birth to Drake Wylde.. things went on peacefully up onto the point her and her husband divorced. He attempted to murder her, and left her terrified of him. She had him killed. With the money from selling the farm, and what her husband left her, she purchased a large mansion. Where her and her son lived for quite some time.. Skooma Kills and thank you for the helpful tips and also letting me apply again.
After the second time I applied an admin told me that I must be 13 to apply, even though I was turning thirteen in a month, but I think that's fair. Anyway, I'm 13 now, so I'd just like to tell you guys that I probably won't be re-applying.
Good day.
