Sorry to hear about the server Vanderburg. I used to play on it back in 1.8 before taking an extended break. I really enjoyed playing on your server, seeing how organized it was, for me it was one of the more enjoyable servers.
To bring some closure, I'd like to dispel a myth about why this server died out.
I used to play on Frantic Me, and even got the rank of "super donator". It was a good server, so I donated. Then, one day, I log on the Frantic Me forums and find out I had been banned for three weeks. I was banned for building on someone else's land apparently. Someone else who had claimed an immense tract of land which they never used, and they barely ever logged on. And the constructions were moderator approved.
So, I took it to the forums and, of course, instead of acting like mature adults and realizing this ban was excessive, the answer given boiled down to "We're the mods and admins, we do what we want and you deal with it." I took it as a clue to not donate to that server again, and guess what? Many others did. I got messages about it, from a lot of people who agreed with me. It didn't feel fun to build something, contribute by making public structures and donating to the server, then get banned because a mod wanted to show everyone he has a bigger pecker.
In the end, the reason the server died isn't because it was hacked, and though it really was because of lack of donations, that in itself was simply a symptom of a much larger problem, which is that the moderation team was abusive and childish. Maybe next time, when people donate to your server, you'll know not to go on a power trip.
Hey Vander, I miss FranticMe as everyone else probably does :/ I was wondering if you ever have thought of trying to revive Frantic Me? I'm just curious, I have never found a server the same or that I can actually enjoy nearly as much as I did with Frantic me. I understand if you don't see this post, don't reply, or can't/ won't be able to bring back a server that you host. Frantic me had its drama but was amazing in my opinion, I loved the staff, the players, everyone.

Have fun with Tekkit.
