I'm really going through some hard times right now...
I came home a few days ago (haven't been staying at the house), and the server was down and Amazon EC2 showed the server was shutdown.
More than likely the server crashed and I have only been backing up to the server itself... I decided to shutdown due to this problem, in addition the personal problems I've been having, in addition to the server never making a profit (I have to pay myself a substantial amount each month)... I know I could go with a cheaper (aka. worse) provider, but I tend to go with what's best.
I HAVE refunded anyone who payed the $6/month (on Amazon) and cancelled everyone's subscriptions (on Amazon).

Well Radda, it was a fun ride. Over a year of action and fun got us everywhere in the Minecraft universe. From a simple thread back in Alpha, to a large Beta thread, with ads for the server in many other web domains. Every day that I have been here, I looked foward to my building of my creations, as well as conversing with my friends here. I recall many server events that have occured in this past year. And with those server events, you kept it running strong, with whatever means you could. And I mean everything. You coded some of the things we used for the server that no one else had. You have put down a legacy that I believe no other server admin can come close to equaling. And with those words I say this; I hope that you're able to move forward in life, living it free of your previous burdens, and keeping a positive mind-set. I personally thank you for this experience.
Or we could have a new map that doesn't need as much resources?
Ok I created a temp server but i cannot go on it right now because i am at a party......
ip: 108.77.90.68 In no way is this affiliated with the real server raddafiskie.com
This server will be removed as soon as that one is back up
I need help with a spawn, make it somewhere.
Edit: I wonder if this is a bad idea...
Update1: Hmm seems to be down trying to fix it. CANNOT REMOTE INTO MY COMPUTER. CANT FIX AT THE MOMENT SORRY.

I don't even really know what to say besides thank you. You changed a good year of my life by supplying the best server this game has to offer. I'm really grateful that I found this amazing place, and I just want to thank you for being the coolest guy you could have been. You've been a really good friend to me and everyone else on the server since the beginning, and it's super cool of you. I hope everyone here can stay in touch because it's really not about the plugins, or the world file; it's about friendship.
Thank you everyone, and good luck IRL, fiskie. It's more important than a game for sure. :smile.gif:

Well said, do what you need to do. If, within the next couple days, you decide this is the end of the server completely, it'll be done...
Nevertheless, it was wonderful while it lasted, and you were very involved throughout. A big hand for you and all your mods and admins, who made this server and created its legacy.
I played on your server almost exactly a year, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks for providing such an outlet for creativity and thought.
If this server stays down, I'll probably not be playing much multiplayer Minecraft anymore... I'll stay active on forums, wherever possible, and we should all keep in touch.
