So i succesfully made a server with my on laptop, it works pretty well, now the last step is port forwarding, i already allowed the port throught my firewall using the inbound and outbound rules, and i already port forwarded it on my router website. but when i checked on the portchecktool.com its always said "connection timed out" , some peoples said that its the isp blocking the port, but when i change the port to a different port, it now said "connection refused", even though i already allowed that new port to my windows firewall
i dont understand the problem. if anyone know whats the problem, i would really happy if someone help me to fix this problem.
so... i found this similliar problem(i think) in the minecraft wiki, on guide to setup a server. but i dont really understand on what are they talking about in the wiki, and im afraid if i do something wrong it'll cause more problem on my server setup so j need more explanation, can anyone explain to me more on what i should do, so i can fix this problem.
Did you try temporarily completely disabling your firewall? Btw there are free hosts on the interwebs available...
I haven't, but i read some articles that disabling your firewall won't do anything for port forwarding its only gonna restart all your firewall settings
(the tcp/udp thing)
i have used free host for several times. but im disappointed with the lack of acces to my server. like aternos with the lag and minehut with the lack of plugins and cracked players can't join. i can't find free host that provide cross-play plugins, because some of my friends play java and some bedrock. so i want to try something new, but i got this issues

Maybe contact the support of your internet provider
have you added a port forward to your router?
i already have, but they didn't understand the problem
yes, i already have, i already port forward my router
is it because of vpn? but when i uninstalled the vpn, the same problem keep appearing
i use another laptop that connected with the same wifi, it can join. but my friends in different location and different wifi can't join.

Use other solutions like a dedicated server host or minecraft realms.
i dont want to waste money just to play together with friends

We don't support cracked clients anyway.
not me, i already have the original minecraft, my friend didn't. some only have the bedrock version so thats why i need those cross-play plugin
Thank you.... i will try to figure this out myself.... ._.
