Hey everyone! I have been out of Minecraft for quite some time and am wanting to get back into it (probably stopped around the time Mindcrack died). I've tried getting back into recently but the issue is that the game has really evolved since I stopped playing. I had an idea to either look for or join a specific kind of server with the request being so specific I will more than likely have to start a server but I want to judge if anyone would be interested before starting one.
What I'm thinking is that instead of starting a server on the latest update, starting one around the time period I stopped playing which would be around 1.7.2 (the update that changed the world) and with each reset of the server moving forward to the update that followed. I thought this would be a great way for me and people who have been out of the game to learn the changes over time instead of getting overwhelmed and quit playing.
Obviously I could start a single player but part of the best parts of Minecraft was the community that servers have with community builds and community events. If I did start one there would be some rules I would put in place but just some basic ones I would have would be as followed:
1.) 18+
2.) Must have discord and be willing to voice chat during community events
3. Don't be toxic
If this generates any interest I can get the server up pretty quickly, get some rules typed out and an application. If anyone is interested shoot me a message on here, or comment on this post. If I don't respond you can shoot me a message on Reddit as well the username there is BrackAttackFM.
