Welcome to Survivalaria, a small semi-vanilla SMP server.
(Current # of Members: 30)
We have several plugins & datapacks that help enhance the regular gameplay, while keeping things still feeling very vanilla. Most of the additions are simply for quality of life purposes, but some are additions to just give you more options of what you could do in this amazing open-world game. We do have a world border, but that is a circular 75k by 75k border centered on the world spawn point, so you have plenty of space to go in any direction from the moment you spawn. Reason for the border is to be able to generate new terrain/chunks as new major updates to the game happen, such as new biomes or ways the game generates the terrain. This means that we/you never have to worry about the map/world being reset!
Owner's Overview:
When setting up the server I wanted to keep the normal vanilla open-world do whatever you want feel, while adding a touch of RPG mechanics to it. In doing this I've setup the world in a way that you can play 100% how you would on a normal vanilla world, but if you want to create a town, setup shops, have jobs, level up skills, etc, then that is all right there and very easy to do. For example... You like making farms to produce massive amounts of a certain item and are sick of mobs spawning/things catching fire? Pick the Builder job, get paid from your job while building your farms, create a town and set your rules like no mob spawning and fire-spread=off, setup shops and set your prices, watch as other players purchase items from your shops and use that money to fund your town! On the flip-side if that doesn't sound like your kind of thing... then don't do it! You can still just as easily spawn into the world, mine mine mine mine, build build build build, do exactly what you normal would do on a normal vanilla world and completely ignore the jobs/shops/towns side of things without feeling like other people have some kind of advantage by using them.
Rules:
No stealing. (Yes, people CAN lock their chests and stuff, but that doesn't mean anyone should HAVE to lock their stuff up.)
Be respectful. (Everyone is different, everyone isn't going to always agree or get along, but everyone CAN be civil.)
No griefing. (You spend a lot of time building your stuff, so did everyone else. Don't ruin their work.)
Not really a "rule rule" but, if you plan on being gone for a long time, just let us know in Discord, that way we know you're coming back!

Plugins List:
- LWC (A plugin that allows you to change the rules of chests, furnaces, hoppers, etc that you place. These rules include, but aren't limited to, locks.. can hoppers pull/put items into/out-of things.. allow items to be put in but not taken out, etc.)
- McMMO (A plugin that adds a vast and complex skill system to the game that you level up as you just play the game. You can unlock active and passive abilities that enable you to do useful things, like at Level 50 Woodcutting you unlock the skill called Tree Feller, which allows you for a brief time to use an axe to chop whole trees down right from the base of the tree. Ties in very nicely with Jobs.)
- uShops (A plugin that allows you to create shops for buying and selling items for in-game currency. Very simple to use and ties in nicely to other features.)
- Jobs (A plugin that let's you choose up to three jobs for your character. You can make money by completing tasks related to your job. For example, someone with the Miner job will earn in-game currency for mining stones and ores, giving different amounts of money depending on what is mined.)
- Towny (This is the plugin that gives reason to care about the in-game currency. This plugin allows you to create a town, simple. The complex part is that once a town is made, the owner of that town controls the gamerules inside the town such as PvP, mob spawning, what can be interacted with, etc. Towns require an upkeep tax to be paid on a regular basis in order to maintain the town. If your town's bank runs out of funds to pay the upkeep tax, the town "falls to ruin" and your rules no longer apply to the town's area. The tax depends on the size of the town and a town's size can be increased by purchasing land claim blocks using the in-game currency.)
Datapack List:
-Multiplayer Sleep (A datapack that allows night to be skipped by only one player sleeping.)
-Player Graves (A datapack that creates a grave site whenever you die at the location of death. The grave can only be opened by you, by standing on top of it and crouching. If you die in a lava lake or in the void, the grave site will spawn on top of the surface of the lava or in mid air if you fell into the void.)
