Hello! I am not really sure of the point you have with adding a bunch of information now after the point. Is this some way of getting back at us just becuse you got rejected by a minecraft server?
When we removed you from the discord server we promptly removed your posts left there, as we tend to do when either someone gets accepted on not, so it's clean for new applicants. That however means I can not show you what you said. The only thing of note from the little that was there was on the 'How active will you be?' question, where you responded with only 'medium-well' if I remember it corrently, and nothing else. I thought it was weird that someone would refer activity on a minecraft server to how you should cook a steak
However as this is infact my server and the post that you have here is not even up to the standards we are looking for I would wish you not to drag this on longer than it has to. Apologies if any feelings got hurt with that, that was not my intention. Have a good rest of the day and I again wish you luck with your future server hunts!
I work as a law clerk in my county courthouse, been married for 2.5 years with no kids yet. I take a SCUBA trip every year with some friends from school.
I have found that Minecraft lets me unwind and relax.
I play every day at least 2 hours.
Never been banned, but I have been drunk
truth be told, I am not a great builder. I can follow blueprints or copy a design, but my imagination is lacking. That said, I am a great gatherer. I can provide supplies for any build and I can put down rail and make roads. I really like being a support player. I am wiling to try and build whatever needs done.
In the past I have avoided servers with super mob farms and Ender farms, but I have accepted that alot of people play that way. I find that by being mostly a miner and exploring caves, I dont need an xp farm. I also hope that everyone doesn't run off and live like hermits, I am more social than that.

Life has settled down for me lately and I've found myself with more free time to get back into minecraft. I tend to be a builder and I guess that's why I stick to vanilla. If I get really focused on a build and become to quiet just poke me and I'll snap out of it. I was part of long term community, which was just a few friends that were sick of servers shutting down so we made our own. All good things come to an end but it was most fun I've had. I'd love to find another good close group of people to play with on a game I truly adore. I always welcome ideas on anything I'm working on as I enjoy the feedback and the visits.

Most likely I'll play for at least an hour or two daily. If I really get into a build I can sure spend a whole lot more than I should.

Proud to say I haven't. I've always got along great with owners and admin's as I use to be an admin and I know sometimes it can be tough.

Hopefully I can help inspire others. I tend to get along with everyone and love going to see player builds to inspire myself. I have no problem helping out anyone that needs supplies that I can spare or a helping hand on a project they are working on. I work as an IT-supporter for teachers in public schools. Education I've got includes IT and teaching. On my sparetime I usually spend time with the important people in my life or sit infront of my PC. I'm also a developer and know various languages. That's kind of the point of me posting! I hope to become more active playing Minecraft. I usually spend at least 5+ hours a day in front of the PC and on weekends even more. However, lastly I've been focusing on developing and/or watching YouTube/Facebook too much. The 1.14 updates got me hyped though. I'd guess a few hours a day and if I like it then potentially several hours a day (weekdays) and a lot on weekends. Sorry for weak answer but my predictions are weak as I do not know if your community will bring me back to the good old days. Been playing since Minecraft Classic (the first few versions).
Have i ever been banned from a private server?
Yes, I have. Sometimes I've been banned just because I upset someones feelings and other times I've been banned for breaking the rules. This is mostly from years ago though. I'm more mature now and tend to follow the rules.
What do i think i can bring to the server?
Sadly I tend to play solo but I will surely be active in the chat and on Discord. Potentially I could do some custom plugins for the server if needed and/or some web development (mainly backend). Other than that it all depends on how much I like the community of course!

I love the survival aspect and usually tend to build some not too impressive houses and underground bases. I could probably search my computer for some screenshots but I'm not really in the mood for it. Hope that's all right for you (stated as optional)!
Tell us a bit about yourself: I'm a 26yo, married, father. I'm a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the USN. I've played Minecraft off-and-on since it was a browser game. For about 2 years after highschool, I played on the server "Aurora" which was founded by an EMT named Tek. During most of that 2 year period, I was a moderator on the server popular with both the staff members and the general public. If there was an issue with the admins, the players generally trusted me to get it sorted- though I usually erred on the side of the admins- and I always defused the situation. I play a lot of strategy and shooters, mostly, with a soft spot for building and survival games. I have near to 600 hours in Space Engineers and years of gaming under my belt. I don't spend a lot of time getting drunk, but I have been drunk a couple of times. I once drunk an entire 12 pack in the course of a few hours, but that's not that exciting. VisualPennytrate said you were all good people.
How active will you be?: This changes on the day-to-day. I have an ever-changing schedule due to the Navy's needs and the requirements of the Shipyard. I try to get at least 16 hours a week on the computer, more if I can get a decent weekend since those aren't guaranteed to me.
Have you ever been banned from a private server?: The only time I was banned from a server was after the fall of Aurora. I was a moderator, at the time, and the owner had turned control over to another person who went into some monetary trouble. So she disappeared for awhile, leaving the server in the hands of one of the admins named Mike. Mike owned the Minecraft Tunnel server, and announced he was shutting down Aurora and for everyone to migrate to his server- which was just starting- if they wanted to keep their community because he was shutting off Aurora regardless. To me, this looked like he was shutting down Aurora so his server had one less competitor and this offended me on a principle level. I got drunk and the day before he shut down Aurora I got belligerent. Most of the staff migrated to Tunnel on the prospect of maintaining their staff positions, but it didn't sit well for me. Mike banned me from Aurora to make a statement, which was an unpopular decision with a lot of the Aurora players, the day before he shut it off. He sent me a long apology letter and asked me to come over to Minecraft Tunnel. I admit, I gave it a try, but it was just awkward and never sat right with me.
What do you think you can bring to the server? Endless dad jokes, mostly. I can't promise they're all witty, but I am friendly and can share my experiences with people, if they ask me. I try to think a little outside the box with my builds, though they're typically more low fantasy/medieval based. I'm not a huge fan of the square, empty, "modern" builds.
Any other questions or comments?: I don't do well with overbearing playtime requirements, but I can promise to make an honest effort to stay active and play on the server. So don't need to stress about if I'm giving my playtime to another server or not. That being said, my time is just that. It's mine. I'll spend it how I want to.

I studied ethical hacking and countermeasures at university and I'm currently employed by a major bank as a systems analyst with a focus on security, though I tend to wear an awful lot of hats professionally. My ways of relaxing tend to involve an awful lot of gaming, and Minecraft is one of those classics that I always tend to come back to. It's a great way to make use of creativity, which is something I tend to have an over-abundance of, with a head that's usually full of too many ideas for my own good. Currently I'm also playing my way through a long backlog of single player games that I allowed to build up without actually finishing any of them, but I tend to dip in and out of a lot of multiplayer games too.
My other interests involve a typical mix of reading/watching scifi, as well as a little bit of writing when I'm not too drunk to many any sense. I'm also liable to talk the ear off of anyone within listening range with obscure trivia on subjects like trains and warships, and especially lighthouses.
How active will you be?:
When I have a project on the go I tend to be pretty much glued to minecraft until it's finished, and when I'm between big ideas but active on a server I generally try to hop in daily, partly just to potter about looking for inspiration. My work schedule is extremely unusual, so there may be long spurts of activity with gaps between, but that's part of why I'm interested in an international server - having people to play with at any hour of the day can be extremely helpful for me.

In a Minecraft specific context, I have a fair amount of experience building with others and enjoy being part of making a world come alive as a cohesive whole in addition to my own projects. My builds tend to have a lot of little details, and I'm a big fan of creative redstone doors and locks - almost everything I build will have a hidden entrance somewhere in it, and I like to make them difficult to find. Combining form and function in unexpected ways is extremely enjoyable to me, as is finding a 'tone' to build an entire area in. I also have a history of (good natured!) pranks.
Outside Minecraft, I enjoy being part of a community and would look forward to being part of the discord if I was accepted. I have an absolutely terrible unique sense of humour and love talking about a wide range of subjects.

I've come to find this thread courtesy of MercenaryMonk, who I believed said she was going to make sure I was expected? Monk and I have b een gaming for yeaaaars, and have played Minecraft together on a number of servers. We've built towns together, I've camped on her digital lawn in an RV for an extended period of time, and when we were talking about the new Minecraft updates earlier she suggested that this server might be a good fit for me - I like the idea of learning the new version as part of a mature community, and she gave me a glowing recommendation of how the server is run and got me really interested!

This video features a fireworks display I set up, and kind of a tour of a castle I built attached to the town.
This is an old imgur album with a tour of that town, focusing on what I built - though it's from a while before the castle I used for the fireworks display was built. It does feature some of my hidden redstone bits and bobs.
A new album featuring some screenshots from my backup of that world, focusing on stuff like the castle that I added afterwards. Unfortunately it appears that moving between versions has taken a bite of some kind out of the railway station and the villager-enclosure.
A newer solo build of mine from a different private server - my cathedral. I was extremely proud of this on a number of levels, especially stuff like how I used the space in the secret potions attic, but unfortunately the server closed before I was able to complete the basement areas and parts of the outside the way I wanted and I lacked the enthusiasm to finish it off in a backup only I was ever going to see.

She's now getting bored and I still love the game, so I wanted to find a mature server on Java (seems a bit more technical, which I like). I used to play competitive strategy and PvP games a lot, but just don't have the desire to "compete" anymore. I just want to build and relax when I'm home from work.
How active will you be?: I play daily for the most part, but family and work come first. There's the odd time where I find myself "bored", I'll go play another game for a week and then come back to MC haha

Tell us a bit about yourself: Currently a college student who likes to think he is creative and original when it comes to minecraft but often looks up builds and redstone contraption tutorials. I'm just getting back into the game after a hiatus because real life can be very busy sometimes. But I will have some free time this summer and am very interested in what you all are offering. Outside of the game, I enjoy hockey, basketball, and naps. I think the most impressive thing about me is that I can bake a 10 minute pizza in 9 minutes (especially handy when I'm drunk). I aspire to have massive, awe inspiring builds but I think the thing I like the most about minecraft is the journey to get there and the relationships that are made along the way.

Have you ever been banned from a private server?: Don't think of myself as a guy who is prone to starting or giving into drama. Been on a few servers that died due to inactivity but never have banned to the best of my knowledge
What do you think you can bring to the server? Friendliness. Helpfulness. I think I can be someone who could just be another fun loving guy looking to enjoy minecraft with like-minded individuals.

I am also very picky so it normally takes a very long time for me to have a nice build. You'll have to take me at my word on this one, I've built at least 10 witch farms. For some reason they are just my favorite thing to build a base around. Not sure if you've ever watched Mindcrack but Docm's base in season 4 really inspired me.

I have been playing Minecraft since the late alpha/early beta days and have grown up with this game. I remember waiting for each new episode of the Yogscast playthrough. I used to get up early in the mornings specifically to play Minecraft on my dad's computer before he woke up. This game was the main reason I wanted my own PC and what kicked off my love for PC gaming.
Rocket League is my second favourite and second most played game, I have sunk well over 1500 hours into the game so if anyone wants to play a few games, hit me up.
How active will you be?: As I spend a lot of my free time sitting in front of my computer, I'd be very active. You can expect to see me on most days of the weekday for at least a few hours (work permitting) and longer on the weekends. Having played on various other survival servers in the past, they tend to get stale after a period of time as people start to lose interest which then it feels as if your just playing solo, which I've never enjoyed much. But, after recently getting back into Minecraft after a hiatus of a few months, I'm eager to spend time with a friendly, mature community for the foreseeable future.
Have you ever been banned from a private server?: Yes, a long time ago, but that was my younger self. Times and people change and I have grown up since then.
What do you think you can bring to the server? I love to provide builds that a community can use, such as villager trading halls, farms, etc., similar to many of the hermits on the Hermitcraft server. I like to set-up somewhere secluded and away from others as a start, then once settled embark on a lot bigger projects. I like to build things that make people stop and stare, sometimes to a fault where I will spend far too long building something far too ambitious, but I always see projects through to the end. Obviously, my mood will change from day to day, sometimes I will come on to just focus on building while binging The Office staying pretty quiet, and other times I will be a lot more engaging.
I hope to be active within the discord server as well, whether that be sharing useful info or pictures of builds, or just general chat.

Hello! I am not really sure of the point you have with adding a bunch of information now after the point. Is this some way of getting back at us just becuse you got rejected by a minecraft server?
When we removed you from the discord server we promptly removed your posts left there, as we tend to do when either someone gets accepted on not, so it's clean for new applicants. That however means I can not show you what you said. The only thing of note from the little that was there was on the 'How active will you be?' question, where you responded with only 'medium-well' if I remember it corrently, and nothing else. I thought it was weird that someone would refer activity on a minecraft server to how you should cook a steak
However as this is infact my server and the post that you have here is not even up to the standards we are looking for I would wish you not to drag this on longer than it has to. Apologies if any feelings got hurt with that, that was not my intention. Have a good rest of the day and I again wish you luck with your future server hunts!

That's kind of the point of me posting! I hope to become more active playing Minecraft. I usually spend at least 5+ hours a day in front of the PC and on weekends even more. However, lastly I've been focusing on developing and/or watching YouTube/Facebook too much. The 1.14 updates got me hyped though. I'd guess a few hours a day and if I like it then potentially several hours a day (weekdays) and a lot on weekends. Sorry for weak answer but my predictions are weak as I do not know if your community will bring me back to the good old days. Been playing since Minecraft Classic (the first few versions).

Yes, I have. Sometimes I've been banned just because I upset someones feelings and other times I've been banned for breaking the rules. This is mostly from years ago though. I'm more mature now and tend to follow the rules.
What do i think i can bring to the server?
Sadly I tend to play solo but I will surely be active in the chat and on Discord. Potentially I could do some custom plugins for the server if needed and/or some web development (mainly backend). Other than that it all depends on how much I like the community of course!

Tell us a bit about yourself: I'm a 26yo, married, father. I'm a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the USN. I've played Minecraft off-and-on since it was a browser game. For about 2 years after highschool, I played on the server "Aurora" which was founded by an EMT named Tek. During most of that 2 year period, I was a moderator on the server popular with both the staff members and the general public. If there was an issue with the admins, the players generally trusted me to get it sorted- though I usually erred on the side of the admins- and I always defused the situation. I play a lot of strategy and shooters, mostly, with a soft spot for building and survival games. I have near to 600 hours in Space Engineers and years of gaming under my belt. I don't spend a lot of time getting drunk, but I have been drunk a couple of times. I once drunk an entire 12 pack in the course of a few hours, but that's not that exciting. VisualPennytrate said you were all good people.
How active will you be?: This changes on the day-to-day. I have an ever-changing schedule due to the Navy's needs and the requirements of the Shipyard. I try to get at least 16 hours a week on the computer, more if I can get a decent weekend since those aren't guaranteed to me.
Have you ever been banned from a private server?: The only time I was banned from a server was after the fall of Aurora. I was a moderator, at the time, and the owner had turned control over to another person who went into some monetary trouble. So she disappeared for awhile, leaving the server in the hands of one of the admins named Mike. Mike owned the Minecraft Tunnel server, and announced he was shutting down Aurora and for everyone to migrate to his server- which was just starting- if they wanted to keep their community because he was shutting off Aurora regardless. To me, this looked like he was shutting down Aurora so his server had one less competitor and this offended me on a principle level. I got drunk and the day before he shut down Aurora I got belligerent. Most of the staff migrated to Tunnel on the prospect of maintaining their staff positions, but it didn't sit well for me. Mike banned me from Aurora to make a statement, which was an unpopular decision with a lot of the Aurora players, the day before he shut it off. He sent me a long apology letter and asked me to come over to Minecraft Tunnel. I admit, I gave it a try, but it was just awkward and never sat right with me.
What do you think you can bring to the server? Endless dad jokes, mostly. I can't promise they're all witty, but I am friendly and can share my experiences with people, if they ask me. I try to think a little outside the box with my builds, though they're typically more low fantasy/medieval based. I'm not a huge fan of the square, empty, "modern" builds.
Any other questions or comments?: I don't do well with overbearing playtime requirements, but I can promise to make an honest effort to stay active and play on the server. So don't need to stress about if I'm giving my playtime to another server or not. That being said, my time is just that. It's mine. I'll spend it how I want to.

I'm a Scottish nerd, to put it in brief! I studied ethical hacking and countermeasures at university and I'm currently employed by a major bank as a systems analyst with a focus on security, though I tend to wear an awful lot of hats professionally. My ways of relaxing tend to involve an awful lot of gaming, and Minecraft is one of those classics that I always tend to come back to. It's a great way to make use of creativity, which is something I tend to have an over-abundance of, with a head that's usually full of too many ideas for my own good. Currently I'm also playing my way through a long backlog of single player games that I allowed to build up without actually finishing any of them, but I tend to dip in and out of a lot of multiplayer games too.
My other interests involve a typical mix of reading/watching scifi, as well as a little bit of writing when I'm not too drunk to many any sense. I'm also liable to talk the ear off of anyone within listening range with obscure trivia on subjects like trains and warships, and especially lighthouses.
How active will you be?:
When I have a project on the go I tend to be pretty much glued to minecraft until it's finished, and when I'm between big ideas but active on a server I generally try to hop in daily, partly just to potter about looking for inspiration. My work schedule is extremely unusual, so there may be long spurts of activity with gaps between, but that's part of why I'm interested in an international server - having people to play with at any hour of the day can be extremely helpful for me.

In a Minecraft specific context, I have a fair amount of experience building with others and enjoy being part of making a world come alive as a cohesive whole in addition to my own projects. My builds tend to have a lot of little details, and I'm a big fan of creative redstone doors and locks - almost everything I build will have a hidden entrance somewhere in it, and I like to make them difficult to find. Combining form and function in unexpected ways is extremely enjoyable to me, as is finding a 'tone' to build an entire area in. I also have a history of (good natured!) pranks.
Outside Minecraft, I enjoy being part of a community and would look forward to being part of the discord if I was accepted. I have an absolutely

I've come to find this thread courtesy of MercenaryMonk, who I believed said she was going to make sure I was expected? Monk and I have b een gaming for yeaaaars, and have played Minecraft together on a number of servers. We've built towns together, I've camped on her digital lawn in an RV for an extended period of time, and when we were talking about the new Minecraft updates earlier she suggested that this server might be a good fit for me - I like the idea of learning the new version as part of a mature community, and she gave me a glowing recommendation of how the server is run and got me really interested!

A newer solo build of mine from a different private server - my cathedral. I was extremely proud of this on a number of levels, especially stuff like how I used the space in the secret potions attic, but unfortunately the server closed before I was able to complete the basement areas and parts of the outside the way I wanted and I lacked the enthusiasm to finish it off in a backup only I was ever going to see.

Hey! Silencing mobs allows you to name any mob “silence” and they will no longer make any sounds. Ideal for noisy animal or villager farms!

I love to provide builds that a community can use, such as villager trading halls, farms, etc., similar to many of the hermits on the Hermitcraft server. I like to set-up somewhere secluded and away from others as a start, then once settled embark on a lot bigger projects. I like to build things that make people stop and stare, sometimes to a fault where I will spend far too long building something far too ambitious, but I always see projects through to the end. Obviously, my mood will change from day to day, sometimes I will come on to just focus on building while binging The Office staying pretty quiet, and other times I will be a lot more engaging.
I hope to be active within the discord server as well, whether that be sharing useful info or pictures of builds, or just general chat.
