We use the application to make sure the players joining our server are dedicated to Minecraft and not someone who want to ruin the fun for everyone else.
As well as players, the Ivicarus Vanilla team is also looking for Moderators to assist with, well, Moderating! We need experienced and dedicated staff to assist with the every day duties in the community. Think you could be one? Rules and Community Guidelines
Whether you chose to read these rules or not if your option, but we highly suggest it as not to make a mistake you wouldn't want to regret. Yes, this sections is going to be long and boring, like a T&C page, but we want to make it clear the right and wrongs of this server.
Please note:If an applications is accepted and found to be fraudulent, your user details will be erased from our server and website, you will be added to the blacklist and your ip will be banned from our systems.
We do ask that you keep your Minecraft account as vanilla as possible. We do ask that you do not use any Game modifications or Hacks except the ones listed below:
* Lite Loader
* Voxel Map
* Opti-Fine
Any other game modifications that put yourself in an advantage over others, for example X-ray hacks, will result in a suspension to your access to our server. Intentional use of a game bug is also forbidden. if a bug if found please report it to the server owner/staff in a private message on the forums.
Public Chat Please keep the public chat respectful. Spamming in chat is forbidden and may result in a kick or ban. No racist comments in-chat or on our server will be tolerated. This includes repetitive logging in and out. Advertisements of any kind are forbidden. Racial or derogatory terms are forbidden, including but not limited to; religion, sexual preference, politics etc. Respect in chat continues in private messages as well. If a player is reported in regards to a private message, the message is able to be seen and read, keep that in mind.
If a player is suspecting another player of breaking the rules they should report them to a staff member, if any are online, or to an admin on our server in a private message. If a player suspects a staff member of breaking the rules they should message an admin on the forums, through a private message.
Strictly no Griefing. Griefing includes but is not limited to; Causing damage or harm to another player, Causing damage or harm to property of items that do not belong to you, Causing damage to the community map. Do not leave creeper holes lying around, do not leave 1x1 pillars, do not spam water or lava, do not leave furnaces, chests, crafting tables scattered, do not leave trees partially harvested.
Stealing is strictly prohibited. Stealing of any kind is strictly forbidden in the Ivicarus Community. Whether it is a block of dirt or a stack of gold, if it is not your property, leave it alone if you don't have permission from all parties involved.
PVP is prohibited unless all involved players have agreed in advance.
Respect all! Respect is an important party of being in our community. If respect if not upheld in our community to all individuals, disciplinary actions may be enforced. Respect everyone's privacy, don't ask for personal information.
Multiple Minecraft accounts connected to the server must be accepted by an admin. If your account is taken over by someone and they break any rule on the server, we do not lie responsible. Each player is responsible for their account no matter who is playing. If you do need a second account for YouTube recording please contact proff2200 or a server admin to develop an outcome to suit your terms.
YouTubers
Those individuals who are willing to make YouTube videos, please remember that this is a family friendly server, so we do ask that you keep profanity to a minimum in your videos. In the description box please link to our community website and invite others to join.
World Guidelines
Building Guidelines:
Every player is free to explore the world and build their base. Please do allow an appropriate radius from your base to anyone else's. Thoroughly scout the surrounding area to ensure no one is using the surrounding area. Mark your land clearly with signs indicating your Player name, when you claimed the land and whether you have any land in use underground, to ensure no one mines through your area. Any disputes should be taken to staff.
Building at Spawn
Individuals who wish to build at spawn are welcome to. Players are permitted to build one (1) 20x20 plot for either a survival house or shop. Please do not exceed the requested 20x20 size. if you require more space please seek assistance from an administrator who will be happy to ensue an agreement that confines to your needs. Specialty buildings that include Redstone must be approved by a staff member either on the forums under the 'Specialty Buildings' thread, or through pm in game or on the forums, simply to assist in the reduction of lag.
Inactivity:
If an individual is expected to be inactive for a period longer than 30 days, we ask that you fill out a post in the 'Inactivity Notice' Thread on the forums. Please state your Player Name and Expected dates of inactivity. Reasons do not need to be included if they are private however, they are still recommended.
Please note that our server uses programs that allow us to gain information that may assist in catching players who break the rules. If you are found out to be using hacks or breaking the rules, understand that disciplinary actions may be used, which could include banning and blacklisting.
