Welcome to the Atlas Project, an immersive, new Minecraft experience
Players find themselves as refugees from their ruined worlds, arriving in the world of Atlas just in time to see the resurgence of a dangerous cult, thought to be eradicated long ago. Through exploration of the unique, hand-painted world, completing the hundreds of available quests across dozens of NPC towns, and even building their own nations to compete on the world stage, players must make choices that affect their gameplay and reputation throughout Atlas and craft their own unique legacy!
With our custom nation and town system, you can establish civilizations around the custom world of Atlas. Create powerful Nations with countless Towns under your rule, climb the ranks of your peers, and see if you have what it takes to expand your influence!
Atlas contains 100% handmade, custom terrain! Explore the cold wastelands of the Drakon Isles, to the dense trees of the Zarakam Jungle! With their own biome-related materials and natural wonders, take the opportunity to explore and adventure into the unknown.
Take the fight to your enemies by declaring a siege on one of their strongholds using the collection of relics. Blast through their walls and wreak havoc on their civilians and riches! With our custom-made siege system, you won’t have to worry about destroyed buildings or ravaged treasuries in the aftermath, for opponents will only gain a small percentage of the profit whilst the damages are reverted back. If you don't want to be involved with a siege, then you don't have to!
There are many available ways to gain commerce in the server, ranging from the smuggling of goods to the mastery of trade through merchant shops in Atlas’ fluctuating economy. Strategize using supply and demand to expand your wealth, or even spark economic warfare!
Create unique items through custom recipes and experimentation to gain powerful tools that can give you an edge in combat. Through custom skills like Tannery, Smeltery, and Fletchery, aid your teammates with an array of armor and weapons that have a variety of properties and abilities that can change the tides of war.
With dozens of NPC towns across Atlas, players can explore hours of expansive storylines and dynamic-branching dialogue options! The choices you make in action and conversation affect gameplay and your character's reputation throughout the world. Earn valuable rewards, including powerful and unique items, along with in-game titles throughout your journey! Craft your character’s legacy however you want!
We have gathered a group of admins and moderators that are dedicated to their craft and will make sure to assist with any problems regarding the server. Feel free to ask them for any assistance as long as you follow the rules of the server and discord chat.
Get your companions involved in dungeons, gather unique fish from the depths of the water, drink your life away with alcoholic recipes, become part of the story with community/lore events, and so much more!
(Recommended that you get involved in our Discord for any questions or when the server will go back up when it's down.)

I joined the server looking for a fresh new experience and what the description promises did not let me down. The starting story alone had me so immersed and actually invested in the questlines and made me want to explore constantly, after hours of play I am still thouroughly enjoying this server.

We've updated the thread with a different version of the trailer if you want to see some parts like magic in action. Until we get our official trailer finished, I hope this trailer can entice you to the server's mechanics, custom terrain, and many more to come! Bear in mind that this was a second version of our beta trailer, but we've decided to use it from it showing more information than the other.
- The bug where wands would inadvertently level and worsen their spells has been fixed! Any wands purchased before this fix are outdated however - simply PM an admin when one of us is on to exchange your wands for the new versions
- New Quest: The Hearths of Drakonfell (Daily) - Speak with Hearthkeeper Varo at Drakonfell Prison to inquire!
- The Corruption of Kairos dungeon is up and running! (Escape from Drakonfell will be up in just a few days)
Mod-begone-Update!
- We now have the ability to monitor and blacklist mods that allow players to cheat!
- The nation system has an improved web interface!
Magic updates:
- Fireball (Elemental) now fires faster and more accurately, and creates a larger explosion. The cooldown has also been reduced to 5 seconds.
- The damage of Torture (Unholy) has been increased, and its cooldown has been reduced to 5 seconds.
- The cooldown of Fury (Unholy) has been reduced to 8 seconds.
For this weekend, we're wanting to meet some new people on the server, feel free to look around and even peek into our discord if you ever need help or you want to talk.
Casual Afternoon Bug Fixes:
- Some various Smeltery Bug Fixes
- Increased spawns for animals (slightly)
- Crops will now only grow in sunlight (as they always should have)
- Bonemeal can't be used to get dyes from flowers
- Sugar Cane now only grows in Deserts and Savannahs (Sorry plains people you've had it too good for too long)
- Melons now grow on the Windswept Isles
- Other small region tweaks
- Lots of magic changes. Thanks Iyo! (hopefully wands behave now)
- Some new mystical items. Perhaps even one that break leaves?
- Admins are less sneaky
- Dungeons now have a 2-hour cooldown (from time of entry)
"Wow, so its been nearly a year since we first said we'd be bringing siege mechanics to Atlas. Then the Alpha testing period came and went and with it.... no sieges. But after more than a year of effort and countless rewrites and balance changes the entire dev team is confident that we have a system that is both exciting and balanced. And so it is without further delay that I officially announce the launch of Sieges!
Starting 1 week from today on February 10th, at 12:00pm CST sieges will be live on Atlas with all their hardship and all their glory. Before the launch though we have an entire day of events lined up to get people pumped, tie in the launch of sieges to lore, and answer your burning questions about how to deal with sieges. So, on February 9th at 6:00pm CST we will be hosting our second Beta State of the Server Address! Followed shortly after by our first round of Promotions! And finally, after all the talking is over we will have a Server-Wide event where prizes will be awarded and battles will take place!
All I can say is don't miss this following weekend, and start preparing! And as always thank you all for being such awesome players and sticking with us as we work through all the kinks to bring you the best experience possible. See you all next week!"

I love this server, its like if someone went and made a Minecraft adaptation of Skyrim.

Love this servers storylines and its mechanics. Really makes the whole world feel like one big adventure!

- Saddles and Horse Armors can now be bought from merchants in The Crossing, Eastwind, and Cirilia!
