Before I start to tell you about this awesome iron-styled pvp with amazing prizes, I'd like to say that I am NOT getting paid for this nor am I getting any special treatment whatsoever.
PvPMC just released yesterday! In just a short time period our playerbase reached 10 players. This server is 1.8-1.12! We are having a special reward for the top 5 factions at the end of this season. This season ends on 8/15/17 and began on 6/21/17!
As a player of PvPMC who donated, I can say that this server is special & with dedicated players. There aren't many issues with the server aside from bugs that do not affect the player negatively. I started out as a guy who didn't want to donate to such a small playerbase but after awhile I decided to donate because this server with it's friendly players and staff made it 10x better than any other faction server I've seen. Most people do not give small servers a chance to grow, but I did and I am having a wonderful time playing on this faction server. When I heard iron only, I thought that it wouldn't be for me since I typically play with diamond & OP CEs. The enchants makes up for it though since the best armor has Protection 8. I highly recommend checking out PvPMC & who knows...maybe you'll win $500!
