WOW! It's been a while huh? Well, good news is this server has come to stay! Cynical Fire has been rebooted and has a new mods list! We have a small downgrade in RAM, from 2 to only 1152 MBs(1 and 1/4 of a GBs) of RAM, but a better CPU. That said, please try to cut back on explosives anyways.
MarvelDC will be staff again with a message, so feel free. Cya everyone!

Recently, Cynical Fire got a massive improvement in the list of mods, now at 9 instead of 3, the nerve racking improvement of 200%. With only 2 GB of ram for this server, Cynical Fire may not be able to handle this as well.
In other news, a staff member(marvelDC) is taking a 2 week long break, and will not be on.
IN slightly older news, I've given up trying to build a spawn and instead opted to remove spawn protection.
I'm hoping this drags in more players.
And that concludes, CYNICAL FIRE NEWS!
Old Info
1.8.9 MODDED PVP SURVIVAL SERVER. YEAH.
NOW WITH 200% MORE MODS!
... Okay let's just cut the advertising, I'm here with a server that'll at the very least make you slightly happy. It is hosted on minecraft-hosting.pro, and I don't have money(to spare), so for the current moment, it's stuck as a "freeman" server. BUT that still doesn't mean I want to keep it like this!
Rules:No hacking, no swearing. And for the love of god, DO NOT EXPLOIT OPEN COMPUTERS!
The server is almost always up(It's always checked at 12 AM and 6 PM UTC - 08:00 (Pacific time in a nutshell.), and may occasionally be looked at in between the two times. It is always backed up during these times onto a hard disk on my computer, so you do not have to worry about losing any data you may have.)
Mods required
Computercraft(V 1.79 for 1.8.9), Minecraft Comes Alive(V 5.2.0 for 1.8.9 for MCA, V 2.1.2 for Radix Core), OpenComputers(V 1.6.0.8 for 1.8.9. What? Just because OC and CC are rivals doesn't mean I don't hate one or the other, I just prefer CC because it's easier to work with.), OpenElevators(V 1.2.0 for 1.8.9), Pixelmon(V 4.3.0 for 1.8.9), MrCrazyFish's Furniture(V 4.0.1 for 1.8.9), Storage Drawers(V 2.7.0 for 1.8.9, Chameleon V 1.1.5 for 1.8.9, currently disabled in fear mining will not work), Tinkers Construct(V 2.2.1 for 1.8.9, V 0.9.2 for 1.8.9 Mantle Core) and Bibliocraft(V 2.0.1 for 1.8.9)
Buildcraft is planned for later, but at the current moment, it hates, and I mean HATES, SMP servers.
We're also hiring staff. Yeah. More about that in the server's spawn.
Max players:4(If you donate, we can increase this. We just need $50 to have a full year of unlimited players, or $6 for a month!)
No the alt is not a real link. Please do not try to go to it. And if you do, don't complain to me that "it isn't a functional link" BECAUSE I TOLD YOU SO.
Oh and keep in mind I'm sometimes a MASSIVEjerk but just ignore me if I am. Also I like explosions so keep me away from any TNT builds that you may have.
Mod config notes(Changes)
MCA
Twins have a 25 percent chance of happening
Babies and children grow up in half the time than normal.
Guards only spawn for every 16 villagers
You must shift click to open a marriage menu for another player. PVP stuff. Wanna keep the PVP sorta alive.
Story progression happens when A)There are atleast 4 villagers nearby B)They've been alive longer than 60 minutes/1 hour. C)Atleast every 5 minutes.
Computercraft
HTTP/HTTPS is enabled. This is actually by default, but I'd like to point out that pastebins are a thing. Please, don't complain to me and ask me to program them. I may be a good programmer, but this? This is insane!
Floppy disks hold 150 MBs of memory(related to the Sony HiFD Mk 1) and computers hold 200 MBs of memory(related to the Sony HiFD Mk 2). For comparison, normal CC computers hold 1000000 bytes of data(1 MB of data) and normal CC floppy disks hold 125000 bytes of data(128 KB of data). A cyincal fire server CC computer has 200000000 bytes of data. Mind blown yet?
Wireless communication is 16x better. That means, in perfect conditions, you have a 6000+ block span of coverage. That's actually alot when you think about it.
Pixelmon
There is planned to be a massive revamp with Pixelmon's configuration(I have SpawnofPsyduck for it installed already), but at the current moment, none of the settings have been changed at all.
I've been here from the very very early testing builds that were public all the way to now. Heck, I've got myself a copy of the PC gamer demo laying around. Good times.
Also, anyone remember ModLoader? I remember how TEDIOUS it was to load a single mod in, but I loved it! When Forge was released, I started looking for ways to make Forge compatible with ModLoader(A huge thing at the time, since that wasn't normally compatible), and every new version, I succeeded. I look back now, and I think to myself:"Man, I miss a lot of old Minecraft." Sometimes I catch myself playing an old modded version of Minecraft, fooling around with old mods, because I miss them.
Another thing donation offers is a iron block for 1-4$ donations, a gold block for 5-9$ donations, a diamond block for 10-14$ donations, and anything above that is an emerald block.

I saw someone by the username MarvelDC. His mod rejections was MCA and RadixCore. If you are him/her, please install said mods.

I have 4gb of ram and an absolute tuberous vegetable of a computer, but I can still run over 100 mods.
Also you can just make a modpack so you only need to download one thing, Also why not Inv tweaks. That mod adds literally no items, Oh wait would that be too big of a mod for you?
BUT I will not install a mod pack in fear of both copyright complaints, and other random US (CENSOR MYSELF DANG IT!) that can get in a lot of trouble. Edit: I feel like an idiot:WHAT I MEANT TO SAY was that I WONT MAKE A MOD PACK because THAT MOD PACKS have to have WRITTEN CONSENT from the creators, and if ONE removes their legislation, then that mod has to be removed.
Also because I only have 2 GB of ram and I'd like to save that for the players to do amazing crud.

You will need to get the dependency for Archimedes. Because Archimedes is installed and I forgot to mention.

We're terribly sorry about the offline status of Cynical Fire, I haven't had much time on my hands. Should be coming on soon.

Cynical Fire is going to reset on 1/11/2016. EDIT:I MADE A MASSIVE MISTAKE, THE UPDATE WILL OCCUR ON THE 11TH NOT THE 9TH.
The time that the server will turn off is around 11 PM UTC - 08:00 PM.
Edit:Any activity done by on the server past 11/8/2016 will not be saved, as I've backed up the server already.

Two rules:Use common sense and don't hack.
This is a modded server; PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT USE VANILLA MINECRAFT TO CONNECT AS IT CLOGS MY SERVER LOGS!
Please go to the PMC post if you want the IP. DO NOT USE THE OLD INFO FOR THE IP AS THAT IP IS OUTDATED BY A YEAR.
I'm in the middle of revamping the entire thing, so you've gotta wait for the construction to be completed.

NEWS
Old Info

... Okay let's just cut the advertising, I'm here with a server that'll at the very least make you slightly happy.

Oh and keep in mind I'm sometimes a MASSIVE jerk but just ignore me if I am.

So there are only 3 mods?
Yes.
Sorry for the late reply, was at school.

you need to add more if you ever hope for a good amount of players
I have 4gb of ram and an absolute tuberous vegetable of a computer, but I can still run over 100 mods.
Also you can just make a modpack so you only need to download one thing, Also why not Inv tweaks. That mod adds literally no items, Oh wait would that be too big of a mod for you?
not really. But that's a client side mod.
