Hello! I'm Maren, a 15-year-old female (the youngest of all applicants, it appears). I've been playing Minecraft since 1.2.3, and, interestingly, the game has become part of my education. Through Minecraft, I learned that sand turned into glass when heated, of the existence of substances such as obsidian and lapis lazuli, and, upon joining multiplayer servers, even how to type. Now that I'm older (and not so naïve as before... hmmm...), I've come to find more than just questionable bits of trivial information within the game - a community. I had managed to find my way into a small, whitelisted vanilla server, focused more on the people than the game. Despite the fact that we all lived miles apart, we acted as though we were best friends attending the same school, separated only by the fences in our yards as we enjoyed an afternoon LAN party. The server had to close, one day, and I've been searching for something similar since.
Outside of Minecraft, I play a variety of other games, though most of my time is dedicated to studying. I'm rather obsessed with math and science - particularly geometry and chemistry (as well as quantum mechanics, if that counts). I also like to read, write, draw, and play chess. Anyone up for a game?
