A well done application, though there are a few minor things to tweak! Her father mentioned having moved to this unnamed town when Silivrenmir fell, but I'm not sure if this is mentioned for timeframe or if the father had lived there. Silivrenmir was exclusively the home of the elves that sought to isolate themselves from the rest, so it is unlikely for a human family to have resided there. As well as this, Barkamsted had become the last known bastion to man during the war, so any outlying towns and cities would have fallen. It's a simple fix here by noting that Dem grew up in the farming district of Barkamsted.
Another point to mention is the character's age. 22 years ago in the server's timeline, the Pact and the Alliance put aside their war in favor of putting a stop to the cult opening up the gates to hell. A year later, the wars ended but the path toward rebuilding had started. This however makes Dem's age at 19 too young for her father to claim to have defended her from orcs when she was very little, which isn't too much of an issue given that he could just be fabricating a tale to tell which could be far from the truth. Just something to keep in mind for the timeline!
One major event that you are missing within the character's background is mention of the Plague that devastated the population. Both Falkvard and Barkamsted were hit with the plague, the latter being struck the hardest, which caused the infected dead to rise back up as zombies to spread the disease further. This happened 13 years ago, making Dem 6-years-old at the time, so while she is young it is important to make mention of how it affected her and her family. Perhaps you could even allude to this later in life with how her parents both fell ill and eventually expired. Maybe they wanted her to leave the home for quarantine in fear that it was the plague striking up again. You can even further justify the crop being rather poor that year by connecting it to the farming blight that occurred 3 years ago now IC, where a massive amount of farmlife throughout the land had become drained and withered for poor harvest of that year.
The latter portion where she was imprisoned within a town and then forgotten about seems incredibly unlikely to me. As noted, there aren't that many towns remaining after the impact of the war, though a few small villages exist here and there (though they are ultimately under the same jurisdiction as the Kingdom). At the very least she could have just been imprisoned for a time within the Kingdom and released after she did her time, as execution is not always the first solution for criminals. If anything in this application needs a major change, it's largely this portion here. If you have any questions about anything feel free to ask!
Winter continues, with no sign of abating in the near. Thick snow now reaches as far as Barkamsted, while roads outside the city are utterly blanketed.
The Knights Order recently held a joust tourney with food and prizes! Chivalry and honor were in no short supply, the prowess of the participants on full display as lances clashed. Even in the cold, the Kingdom's supplies remain high and spirits unbroken, ready to face whatever may yet come.

Define Power-gaming in your own words: Powergaming is when you give your character more power than they would realistically have. Able to slay a man in one hit, dodge all blows, or even more subtle things like creating masterpiece works of art with little to no experience, or trying to argue that your merchant actually works out every day and is equal in combat prowess to a trained soldier. Another way is to write emotes in a way that doesn’t give other people a chance to react, like snatching something out of their hand and running, stabbing and describing the wound without giving a chance to dodge, etc.
Define Meta-gaming in your own words: The act of acting upon information your character would not realistically know. Things read from forum posts, ooc conversations on the server or the discord, from typos, etc., any sort of information you gained out of character that your character could not realistically have obtained is “meta” knowledge. Any attempt to then use that information is metagaming.
Define Role-Playing in your own words: This is actually a really difficult question, cause roleplay ends up meaning different things for different people. I suppose at it’s most basic, roleplay is the act of stepping into the role of a character, separate from yourself, and with others, explore their story, goals, motivations, etc., experiencing a new world from the perspective of someone other than yourself.

Character name: Avea Shrike
Race: High Elf
Age: 43
Gender: Female
Character Description:
Avea is on the short end for a High Elf, only standing at around 6’10. She has faded, pinkish-peach colored hair which falls to her mid back, which she often has draped over a shoulder. Her facial features are unsurprisingly sharp and angular given her elven heritage, with high cheekbones and a pointed chin. Her soft, peach eyes and pale skin color counteract the harshness to a degree, but her generally stern, calculating expression ruins that; even with a soft smile on her face, there’s always a feeling that she’s analyzing your every action, the smile never quite reaching her eyes.
Her clothing is a mix of functional and stylish, draped in almost clerical like robes with a variety of golden accents, which are flowing, but designed to allow for a range of movement. Underneath the robes, she wears far more simple, adventurous attire: dark trousers, sturdy boots, a simple shirt, a few daggers tied around her waist.
Character Occupation: Avea has a moderate amount of training in herbalism and healing, but that’s an on-again, off-again skill for her. She also has some experience as a con artist, but neither of these skill sets are used often enough to be called an occupation, as occupations aren’t of much interest to her in general.
Character Personality/Traits:
Avea’s personality, in a single word, is enigmatic. The way she acts is carefully crafted, soft-spoken and mysterious, always speaking vaguely, never truly giving away what she is thinking. She’s inquisitive and analytical, approaching everything in life as something to be understood, and perhaps the favorite obsession of her inquisitive nature is other people. People are infinitely complex, and Avea enjoys trying to pick apart the complexity of everyone she meets, discovering what they value, why they act how they do, and perhaps most importantly, what they’re hiding.
Character Biography:
Avea was born in the second half of the Pact war into a family of proud, traditional elves, desperately attempting to hold onto the history after the fall of Silivrenmîr. They named their daughter after the supposed founder of their bloodline, Lecivanaria Relicara, a woman devoted to Aderoth, her Holy trinket passed down the family line to the date of Avea’s birth. Surely, this child could follow in the footsteps of the one she was named after, and after the Pact war was resolved, bring their family name to prominence, perhaps even so far as to join the ranks of Elven nobility in a rebuilt Silivrenmîr, after the Pact races were wiped out, as such inferior beings most certainly would be.
These crushing expectations dominated Avea, or shall I say Lecivanaria’s, early life. Both of her parents were skilled in Holy magic, and generations before them as well, so surely, she would take up the torch. However, as time went on, her parents seemed to be getting increasingly desperate, not that a child would understand. She’ll never forget the night where she overheard a loud argument between her parents. Afterwards, her mother walked into the room, sat her down, and explained to her that, as far as they could tell, she had no magic. The expression of pity, sorrow, disappointment, and disgust on her mother’s face is burned into her memory, her entire being an utter disappointment, through no fault of her own.
But even through their family drama, the Pact war continued on, and Leci’s father and the family trinket were drawn to the frontline, talented Holy mages always needed on the warfront. He never returned, and as the front line was pushed further and further back, by the time she was 19, she and her mother, along with the majority of the remnants of all the other non-Pact races, found themselves in Barkamsted. Though they were far from close, Leci had learned the basics of herbalism and medicine from her mother, and through the end of the Pact War and into the Demon War, they worked as healers and herbalists among refugee communities.
By the end of the wars, when she was 22, tensions between Lecivanaria and her mother reached a point of no return. Leci was sick of her name, sick of her mother’s expectations, sick of Holy magic and her own failure as a being for not being blessed with it, and sick of the disappointment in her mother’s eyes whenever she looked at her daughter. So, Leci left, taking all the coin she and her mother had saved, and took up a new name for herself, Avea Shrike, searching for her own new beginning.
The world, while still dangerous, was far more open than it had been for her entire life, and so she has spent the past 21 years as a wanderer, joining small bands who set out to explore the war-torn world again, spending a few years in this or that village that was starting up, leaving when it was on the decline, sometimes visiting Falkvard, rarely Barkamsted, gliding through the tribulations that followed relatively unscathed. To Avea, the Plague was a curiosity, and she helped on occasion, but not a life-shattering event; the Ca’liar - Aceadia War and Eastern War something to avoid and stay uninvolved in. The events in Pine Valley was the first major world event to pique her interest, but she resisted poking her nose into it for some time, and just as her curiosity got the better of her, the situation had been resolved. Still, she has found her curiosity draws her more and more towards events that are changing the world, and as such, her path has led her back to Falkvard.
Notes: I’m applying for Magic on this character, which may seem contradictory to her backstory, but isn’t. Avea only knows she doesn’t have magic because her parents told her she doesn’t have magic, but this is incorrect. Why will be covered more in the magic app section.
Other note I can think of is that I kinda just went “And then she wandered about” for the last 20 years of her backstory, which I can definitely flesh out if it’s wanted! I wasn’t hit by inspiration for that whole section of her life when I wrote up her backstory, but I’m sure I can think of some things.
--Scenarios—
Please give us a roleplay response to both of these scenarios, at least one paragraph each:
A small riot breaks out in Barkamsted between Humans and Pact races. They're quickly gaining the attention of the guards as the situation escalates. Your character is somehow swept up into the crowd as the situation grows more dangerous, what do they do?
A riot? Now that is interesting… dangerous, but interesting. Avea winces as the crowd continues to push and shove her closer towards the epicenter of the riot; as much as she was interested in how this riot began, being in the center of it was… not ideal, given her own frailty. She took a moment to figure out the flow of the crowd, and turned her body to the side, trying to provide less contact area with the rest of the crowd. Going directly back would be impossible, so she began to forge a path crosswise to the flow of the riot, not resisting as she was pushed forward, moving in a curved path until eventually she managed to break out of the flow, joining the bystanders off to the side.
Now then, time to see what she could see. Avea moved a bit further back into the crowd, moving along the edges to get closer to the action… oh, and there were the guards! Now that she was out of the riot proper, time to watch the round up, see if she recognized any faces, find witnesses to the inciting event, so much information to dig up. This was shaping up to be an exciting day.
For whatever reason, your character finds themselves in an ancient tomb, the walls thick with brambles and foliage. From up ahead, you spy what appears to be a shambling mound of something. It pauses, quivers and moans. What do they do?
Avea froze, stock still as she saw the mound moving. Hmm, that was a problem. Exploration always leads to interesting results, but this was the problem with exploring alone. Sure, she could use a dagger well enough, but against something so large, she doubted it would amount to a proper defense. That meant that it was time to perform the smart move: getting the hell out of there before it noticed her. Slowly, she backed away, until she rounded a corner, enough to break line of sight. She took a moment to center herself, regulating her breathing, while paying close attention for any sounds heading her way. When she was satisfied that she was not breathing a sigh of relief, she headed back towards the entrance of the ruins. Now, time to find some foolhardy type to stand in front of her, and deal with that thing if necessary…
--Magic Application--
Magic Biography:
Avea doesn’t realize she has magic, and believes very strongly that she doesn’t. She doesn’t remember ever handling a trinket, but she was told by her parents from a young age that she was unable to use magic. This was an unintentional lie on the part of her family; Avea has been aspect locked towards Dark magic since birth, and as the only trinket her family had access to was aspected towards Holy magic, this direct incompatibility resulted in the young Avea being to led to believe she was unable to use magic.
As such, Avea has grown up with an intense dislike for magic, or more specifically, the valuing of magical prowess in culture as a whole. Her greatest disdain is reserved for Holy magic, given her parent’s pride in her family line being filled with Holy mages, both her parents included. Magic as a whole is interesting, something she is curious about, as she is with most things, but at the end of the day there is a sour taste, a bitterness towards magic and those with it that she can’t quite shake.
So how will she discover she has magic then? Well, it will have to be somewhat of a fluke, if it ever happens at all. She doesn’t have any solid memories of attempting to use the family trinket, so if she comes into contact with a trinket, she may be tempted to try, just one more time, to use magic, holding onto that resilient childhood hope that maybe her parents were wrong. I also can’t say exactly how it will happen, if it happens at all, simply because of the fluid nature of rp!
So what does that mean for when/if, by some total fluke, she discovers that she is actually capable of magic? It’s going to come as a huge shock to her, and result in confusion for quite some time, as she tries to figure out why exactly her family lied to her. Magic has always been some unattainable dream, some failure on her own end, and she ended up being the brunt of so much emotional abuse, so much disappointed, for no reason? Discovering magic is going to cause the angry, resentful side of her personality to simmer in absolute rage, disgusted in casters, her mother, the unfairness of being born with or without the gift through no fault of your own, some part of that is going to boil over.
On the other hand, the desperate, childlike, approval-seeking side of her is going to be ecstatic. Something she thought unattainable for so long, something she desperately prayed to Bothimir and Aderoth for late into the night as a child, is finally hers. She’s always held a deep seated jealousy towards those with magic, and now she can be finally free of it, able to indulge in the power she never thought she had.
Overall, her relationship with magic is going to be swingy as the two distinct parts of herself battle each other, but as time passes, she will most likely mellow out and learn to enjoy magic more and more, letting her own curiosity and wonderment gets the better of her. When she discovers her own Dark aspect, a lot of things are going to click into place in her mind, and it will probably be a lot easier for her to accept her magic. The last remaining dredges of resentment towards Holy magic will probably never truly go away, however, as too much of her life has been associated with a failure to cast it.
Please describe the magic system, including its limitations in your own words:
So, magic. You’re either in or your out, born with potential or not. Bothimir likes you? You good, otherwise, too bad (this is overly simple and silly, but you get the point). Alright, so you have the potential to cast, now how do you do it? Well, you’re going to need a trinket, a type of ancient relic from times past, attuned to various types of magics with various power levels. Trinkets are one of the major limiting factors to casting, because you can’t develop an Aspect of magic if you don’t have a trinket of the associated type, as well as the fact that if you try to cast too strong of a spell with a trinket that is too weak, the trinket is going to shatter, and that’s bad news.
Aspects also matter for people! Everyone with magical potential can use every type of magic up to a medium power level, but to use magic beyond medium power, they must be Aspected in that type of magic. The amount of Aspects a person has is determined by race, Elves may have up to 4, Humans 3, and most other races 1-2, depending.
Magic is not an easy skill to learn, and not something to be taken lightly. Just how attempting to run for days on end will cause exhaustion and fatigue, the same is true of using magical abilities, the more magic you cast, the more exhaustion you accrue. However, the more you train, the more magic you can cast before exhausting yourself, like a trained marathon runner. However, no matter how trained you are, you can still reach your own limits, and at that point, if you attempt to continue casting, the consequences can be severe. Overcasting may cause headaches, fatigue, the inability to cast for a day, and even death. Overcast at your own risk, if you tempt fate too often, your life will most certainly be cut short.
Please describe how you would use a weak trinket with your characters first/only aspect:
With a weak trinket, a Dark mage like Avea has two main avenues. The first is the creation of small, simple shadows. Mostly for Avea, this would be a fun trick, but there are also some more applicable uses, such as creating a shadow on the ground that makes it seem like someone is approaching. Warping existing shadows for dramatic effect will most certainly be a favorite of Avea’s. Causing shadows to stretch, grow, or tremble when saying something dramatic, or simply lengthening them when entering the room to make sure to cause an entrance are all entirely within her penchant for the dramatic.
Winter continues, with no end in sight for the time being.
The Kingdom recently held an auction, with vast amounts of silver spent on wonderful artifacts; weapons, enchantments, trinkets, and more! As always it was a competitive spectacle, with several pitching in their own funds to help others outbid their opponents, but by the end many walked away with at least one new item to their name.
Fort Baylee, a castle and surrounding village taken during the Pact War, has been reclaimed! The grief-ridden spirits trapped there by a dark presence are now free to pass on, and Baylee is at last at peace. Though it shall certainly take time, life may slowly but surely build up there once again.
Winter continues, with snow spreading further and further across the land, the cold refusing to abate even as months drag on.
The Knights Order was recently seen marching eastwards, with rumour being that they mean to retake the ancient city-state of Itiris, a holy center of worship in the days before the Pact War. While little has been confirmed outside the Order, any task so great as to require the bulk of their forces will no doubt prove a gruelling challenge indeed.

Character Biography:
(At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences, you must reference server lore)
Dem grew up in a small village in the farming district of Barkamsted with her parents. She was an only child to a farmer and his wife. All day they’d tend the fields and wouldn’t do much other than that, unless it was a day of festivities. Her father told her stories often of when he fought in a war against monsters, but her mother always said he was exaggerating. He said that her family came to this town when Barkamsted fell, but all his stories sounded too fantastical to be real. He said he had fought a herd of orcs when she was very little to protect her and her mother.
On a day like any other day, she was going out to tend the fields, when her parents became very ill from the plague. The crop had been very poor that year, and she was unable to care for her parents using the little money they had. There wasn’t much she could do, so she left home hoping to make money to pay for a doctor to care for them. However 3 months into her journey as a traveling painter, painting portraits for whoever paid her, she received word that both her parents had succumbed to their illnesses and died. She was heart broken. She sold their home and land, but it was worth little to nothing.
She became lonely and started to risk her life stealing food and other amenities to survive, hoping she can save money to live a life better than her parents. When she was 17, she was eventually caught and jailed, and was imprisoned for 6 months, when she had finished serving her time, she up and left. She eventually found her way into a new town, where no one knew her name. She decided that this time around, she’s trying to live a more honest life, one where her parents wouldn’t be disappointed in her.

Dem is goofy in personality and likes to play pranks and mess with people. She also likes to say things for a reaction as she likes to feed off of people’s reactions. She is either her goofy self, or when serious about something, Dem has RBF and looks like she’d kill a man if you’d let her. SHe says she messes with people because she thinks it's funny, but it’s also because she doesn’t understand others. She uses comedy as a deflection to avoid her own personal issues she has with people, and she doesn’t mind if people hate her for this. She tries to be strong but is really emotional and cries a lot when no one watches.

Dem tries to find an opening and escape. If she can’t escape she’ll take the closest thing next to her that could be used as a weapon and make an exit. She hates violence but will be violent if backed into a corner.
For whatever reason, your character finds themselves in an ancient tomb, the walls thick with brambles and foliage. From up ahead, you spy what appears to be a shambling mound of something. It pauses, quivers and moans. What do they do?
Dem is curious. She looks at the mound and inspects it, hoping it's treasure or money. She first inspects the surrounding area for traps, and then tries to find an entrance. If there isn’t one, she’ll make an entrance.

Character name: Zyradia Reythe
Race: Half Elf
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Character Description: She stands at 6’-2” with black hair, green eyes, and a lovely figure. (Her legs in particular.) Her skin tone is warmer than an elf’s, matching her mother’s rather than her father’s. She sports light armor with plenty of pouch space, gauntlets, a bit of ankle armor, and holds a rapier and a set of well-balanced throwing knives on her belts.
Character Occupation: A Novice Rogue Inquisitor
Character Personality/Traits: I used to play her as a really grumpy/spicy/salty woman but I hope to develop her character into something that would actually fill a paragraph, heh. But I do know she has a fear of fire and doesn’t exactly trust too quickly now that she’s older and wiser. She questions the integrity of anyone she meets and can be a bit of a spit-fire if her attitude is invoked, but generally she’s calm.

Zyra watches her surroundings intently, weaving through the stampede of heightening aggression. Knowing time was ticking, she calculated the best route she could with such limited circumstances. Spotting a set of stairs nearby, she pushed through the crowd and reached out to the railing. And blessedly the crowd released her to climb up the stairs she sought. Skillfully Zyra maneuvered onto the railing and hoisted herself up to sit on the roof of the building she chose. And carefully...she watched for any signs of the devious group she was tracking.

Zyra’s feet carried her quietly across the stone floor. Or...so she thought. The call of the strange mass just ahead sent a shiver up her spine, “****…” She whispered and immediately stopped in her tracks. She took a few steps back, moving back toward the entrance of the room to find a place to hide. She gripped a dusty rope and tugged on it to test it’s strength. And soon she was perched in the rafters to observe from a safe distance what she was dealing with. Could it be a draugr? Whatever it was, it stirred up plenty of dust. It had obviously been there for quite some time.

Character name: Ezrin
Race: Half-Elf
Age: 29
Gender: He/Him/His
Character Description:
Ezrin is a male-bodied half-elf of typical height and build, wearing peasant clothes. He carries a quiver on his back, wears a stabilizing bracer on his right arm, and in cases of entering areas potentially hostile to his mixed race, as well as for tactical purposes in combat, a brown, hooded cloak. His hair and eyebrows are wine-red, and his eyes are brown.
Character Occupation:
Hunter/Mercenary for Hire. As a hunter, Ezrin hunts down monsters in exchange for bounties. Covers a variety of services including but not limited to: Bodyguard Work, Search and Retrieval, Sabotage, Shadowing, and Information Gathering. Ezrin doesn’t take any kind of wetwork, hit jobs, or theft. (Except in the cases of items that were already stolen to begin with)
Character Personality/Traits:
Ezrin is an objective-minded, professionally-mannered individual with a sharp intellect and a soothing, calming voice. He displays a perpetual confidence and somewhat aloof persona, rarely losing his composure when things turn south. Ezrin is a people-person, having a knack for knowing what to say to achieve his goals, or to negotiate his way out of trouble. He is not without caution, knowing which situations- and consequentially which people to involve himself with before striking a deal. In short, Ezrin is ambitious and always planning ahead, envisioning success even in the event of setbacks, but he’s also patient and knows how to keep himself in check.
Ezrin also knows how to hunt and track animals and monsters. His proficiency and aim with a crossbow is respectable, knowing how to maintain himself and his possessions. Like with how he talks with people, he prefers to plan out his combat encounters before engaging, but like any decent hunter, he also knows how to improvise. He almost never works for free however, and if he can, he’ll try to wage a better payment deal. He also has a love of travel, and an investigative sense of curiosity.
Character Biography:
Ezrin was born in the year 64 NE, to parents who were constantly moving to avoid persecution from elves due to their marriage and his own mixed race. He would spend the better part of his first decade learning caution and prudence above all else. The year 72 proved to be the most turbulent of all with the entire kingdom facing the Hell Gates crisis. Ezrin’s human father volunteered to fight the hellbeasts and was summarily killed in action. Later, once the crisis was quelled, and once the persecution was dialed back in 73 NE and his mother finally settled down permanently in a village, Ezrin began to open himself up more to others, but he still retained his habit of being ever-observant and picky about the kinds of friends he’d make, and the things he would say. He neither gained a reputation for being a stick-in-the-mud or a whippersnapper. His above-average intelligence wasn’t unnoticed during his school-years, but Ezrin masked it with average marks in order to avoid unwanted attention.
As a result of growing up during the era of expansion and exploration, Ezrin grew up with a craving for adventure and a wanderlust, much to the exasperation of his mother, an elven huntress named Alanae who didn’t want to lose her son the way she lost her husband. She taught Ezrin how to hunt with a bow and arrow, as well as how to track and to identify different animals and monsters. Sadly, this would be the last gift she would impart upon him before she died of the Plague in 81 NE. Like many others who suffered due to their meddling, Ezrin would blame the Valis Cult for this, but he knew they were far too dangerous to entertain the idea of revenge. Instead, after saving up enough money during the Eastern War, he would move to Falkvard just after the end of the Pine Valley incident to look for more lucrative work opportunities.
Ezrin looked around frantically, trying not to let his features betray his fear. He knew that his people skills would be next to useless in this situation, and at this rate, it could turn into a full-blown pogrom. He could die. He quickly considered his options, ruling out the impossible. There wasn’t any chance of calming the crowd down… And it was getting more densely packed by the second.
Then it came to him. It’d be risky, and he might get injured or trampled, but hopefully not killed. He simply waited for the crowd to swell and for the guards to finally react, and just as they did, Ezrin saw his opportunity. As the crowd forcibly disperses, Ezrin pushes his way through the now less-dense crowd and climbed to higher ground on a rooftop, watching the chaos from a distance for a few seconds before immediately leaving. He had to get back down before someone spotted him, and after that, out of the city, maybe wait a few weeks before returning, making a mental note to be wary of racial tensions in Barkamsted from now on.
For whatever reason, your character finds themselves in an ancient tomb, the walls thick with brambles and foliage. From up ahead, you spy what appears to be a shambling mound of something. It pauses, quivers and moans. What do they do?
Ezrin pauses, pointed ears pricked up as he listens closely to the echoing sound. Whatever that was… It was in all likelihood unfriendly and posing a moderate threat. Probably a defense of some kind against grave robbers. Good, that meant there was something worth protecting. He wasn’t going to test himself against this thing by himself; he was only there to scope out the place, knowing that in all likelihood he’d need at least one or two more people and to decide what their share of the loot would be before actually taking the plunge.
He’d need more information though. Taking out a decent piece of dried jerky, Ezrin tosses it in the direction of the shambling mound, watching it fly into the dimly lit area and landing with a soft thud that echoes across the room. Less than two seconds later, Ezrin hears the sound of more frantic shambling that heads towards the direction of the thrown meat and what sounds like very messy, open-mouthed chewing. Whatever it was, it was fast, had a good sense of hearing, and it was ravenous. At least for jerky.
He took the opportunity to leave the tomb as quickly and as quietly as possible while the thing was distracted with its meal. Now that he knew what he was up against, he’d need to form the right crew. It wasn’t much, but he’d hit pay dirt. If just a little.
Thank you for updating your application, though apologies on the wait! I see some of the changes here especially with the last paragraph of the backstory, but I still feel like you are missing a portion from my original review. Namely, in this section here.
"On a day like any other day, she was going out to tend the fields, when her parents became very ill from the plague. The crop had been very poor that year, and she was unable to care for her parents using the little money they had. She was heart broken. She sold their home and land, but it was worth little to nothing."
My first review still applies:
If her parents had died from the plague, then Dem is only 6-years-old. I don't see it plausible at all for one so young to go out on her own for that period of time in hopes to earn money. Please clarify the details here and you'll be golden!
Thank you for your patience! In all fairness your application is very well structured and I can envision a lot of the character's mannerisms and conduct based on how you have written his personality. Not only that but you did a very good job incorporating the server's lore into his own personal experiences with his family and himself. There is but only one minor tweak that you will need to adjust or clarify. It is mentioned his mother Alanae died of the Plague, but it should be noted that as an elf she would be immune to all disease. In fact, the kingdom took advantage of this and employed or took on volunteers that were of full high-elven blood as couriers to keep communication moving between folks during the quarantine phase. It's possible that she might have died after an unfortunate encounter with the undead that rose from the plague's victims, but she herself would have never been infected.

The Knights Order have been successful in their early forays into Itiris, fending off a titanic assault by the Cult, though not without losses of their own. While there remains much to be done in seeing Itiris fully reclaimed, it seems that the city is safe from attack for the time being.

She was raised by farmers, but lived as a traveling painter for a year before coming to the town.
Character Personality/Traits:
(At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.)

For whatever reason, your character finds themselves in an ancient tomb, the walls thick with brambles and foliage. From up ahead, you spy what appears to be a shambling mound of something. It pauses, quivers and moans. What do they do?

--Scenarios--
Please give us a roleplay response to both of these scenarios, at least one paragraph each:
A small riot breaks out in Barkamsted between Humans and Pact races. They're quickly gaining the attention of the guards as the situation escalates. Your character is somehow swept up into the crowd as the situation grows more dangerous, what do they do?

There wasn’t much she could do, so she left home hoping to make money to pay for a doctor to care for them. However 3 months into her journey as a traveling painter, painting portraits for whoever paid her, she received word that both her parents had succumbed to their illnesses and died. She was heart broken. She sold their home and land, but it was worth little to nothing."
My first review still applies:

--IC Information--
Character name: Ezrin
Sadly, this would be the last gift she would impart upon him before she died in 81 NE, being overwhelmed by a horde of the undead created by the plague after volunteering as a courier. Like many others who suffered due to their meddling, Ezrin would blame the Valis Cult for this, but he knew they were far too dangerous to entertain the idea of revenge. Winter continues...
The Knights Order have been successful in their early forays into Itiris, fending off a titanic assault by the Cult, though not without losses of their own. While there remains much to be done in seeing Itiris fully reclaimed, it seems that the city is safe from attack for the time being.
When she was 6 they had to quarantine from a plague going around. Her parents never fully recovered and were extremely weak since.
On a day like any other day, she was going out to tend the fields, when both her parents became very ill suddenly. The crop had been very poor the previous years, and she was unable to care for her parents using the little money they had.
Hope this is better! Sorry, I skipped that part by mistake lol.
