To start with the character application, as a note, blue fur will be more of a dark silvery color at most. Getting into the issues with the character's backstory, the main one is their focus on fiction and literature, which wouldn't promote much of her thoughts along with the surrounding culture (humanized enemies, brides fleeing their marriages, etc.) under Ri'Shaka; On the topic of marriage especially, which is more often than note and especially so in cases of elevation in class an honor, there'd not be much cultural reason to view it as taking on the role of a "breeding slave," but rather a privileged position in the continuation of one's bloodline, which matters especially so in the current climate of Einar's war against Yokai.
And speaking of, there's no mention of Yokai and their impact on her life, especially after fleeing from the safety of her home especially. While if she lived in the Capital city she'd be relatively fine, life in any village would be hellish in terms of survival rate, with many families often losing multiple children, parents, so on and so forth. While their breeding rate would allow them to survive and ward off extinction, that does not mean the majority would survive in any family.
As for your magic application, it is severely lacking in many details and limitations of the magic system beyond spell amounts and the risk of casting more than what is available in a mage's reserves and the necessity of Bothimir's gift. Please elaborate on what is required for magic casting, and the difference in magic potential for different races. Once edits have been made, please message and a second review will follow!
A few things to go over in regards to the character application! First off and most prominently is the lack of any mention of the current trouble with Yokai in Einar. With the situation there resembling the Demon Wars in Saphriel with much less in the way of holy and silver, it's not unlikely that life for the average citizen would be awful. Furthermore, the choice to offer or accept a nickname with that context in mind would more than any likelihood be an insult, let alone one which could merit death on the suspicions of possession.
As for the magic application, it is very poorly written and described. An example of this is the line, "the trinket's aspect must match to one of your own aspects if you wish to cast above medium," when it is in fact applicable to all levels of magic excluding special races capable of naturally casting. Please reorganize and edit this portion of the application for coherency's sake.
Please adjust and edit these details and message once ready to be reviewed again!
Edited and saved! I changed her to be more reverent of the empire, but fearful of her duties due to cowardice, and acting out of necessity to stay alive. I swapped the arranged marriage out for being drafted into the empire's army and added details of the confrontations both within the villages she was in and on the road for travel, mentioning family and friends lost to it and its impact on her. I also adjusted her fur to black rather than dark blue.

--IC Information— Character name: Aneworia (yes... I'm playing her again -- I'm not finished until I'm satisfied) Race: Human Age: 26 Gender: Female
Character Description: Her sharp eyes was fertile as petrichor after a morning rainstorm, looking into through her eyes, you see her soul -- she's been through quite a lot. She's average in height and skin tone, wearing the same fair skin most folks around here have. Her chestnut hair always seems to flowing, even when there is no wind. Her face always seems so stern and serious as if 'fun' doesn't exist in her world, like she's expecting an ambush. Red war paint drips down her red eye, down her cheek, and down her throat.
The pelt of a bear hangs off her shoulders and an oversized tunic is tied at her stomach with a red cloth. A pouch hanging off her belt holds her basic essentials, and a water skin on the other side. Her furred boots are covered in mud, they've definitely have seen better days. If you look closely, you could see a few specks of dried blood on the fabric of the bear. At a first glance there's no weapons, but there's certainly a dagger hiding underneath those layers... Somewhere.
Character Occupation: Hunter / Survivalist
Character Personality/Traits: Aneworia at first glance, is a stern and mature woman. But if she gets drunk or comfortable around you, she opens up and becomes a much more enjoyable person to be around. She never EVER leaves the house without painting her eye red.
Character Biography:
For the first fouryears of her life, Aneworia and her parents lived in a town outside of Barkamsted. The entire world was unraveling, towns left and right were being laid waste on and destroyed. It wouldn't be long until the Pact attacked... Fires and destruction was everywhere, people screamed for help as they were brutally murdered, and the ones who couldn't take it anymore took their own lives before they could -- she saw it all. Her parents disappeared in the chaos, and was taken by the endless hordes of Orcs, Trolls, and Goblins. When she wasn't being worked to death, she was forced inside a small cage. A miserable existence, one would be better off in the wilderness than here.
Until, a shimmer of hope arrived. The Alliance retaliated against the Pact, giving Aneworia a chance to escape! By sheer luck, a cannonball had torn apart her cage! The two forces fought valiantly against one another, until the Humans were victorious. In the midst of the chaos, two Trolls saw the vulnerable girl sneaking her way away from the battle, and she was chased deep into the woods. Caught once more, they were heading back to one of their outposts... Until out of the blue, an left and right, the creatures were being shot with arrows -- leaving Aneworia surrounded by dead Trolls.
A towering Orc stepped from the underbrush, and released Aneworia from her binds. Naturally, she scrambled onto her feet and backed away from the creature... But there was no anger scrunched in his face. He called himself Guar'un, he was familiar with Human speech and Orc speech, but cared not to speak his own. He cared for Aneworia for several years, teaching her basic survival skills, archery, and some sword fighting. Eventually, he explained why he rescued her. He did not believe in the Pact and their war against humanity. He wasn't very fond of the idea of waging war against humans all for a bit of grass, because of that, he nearly died in a duel against his superior. To Guar'un, he was better off living in isolation off the fat of the land. In all honesty, he was tired of the constant war for resources -- which boggled Aneworia, considering everything she had saw from the Pact. But as time went on, she eventually grew to understand that not everybody is entirely good or evil. Some were only trying to survive, like the Pact -- they fought for a better life. It was all a matter of life or death.
They were out hunting one afternoon, and they just so happened to find bear tracks. Before Guar'un could react, he was ambushed by the bear and tackled to the ground! Aneworia froze in fear as she watched her friend was ripped apart... Aneworia snapped from her shock, pulled back an arrow, and fired it at the bear's snout! The creature groaned in pain as it turned its attention to Aneworia... by then, Guar'un was unconscious. Aneworia drew her spear out very slowly, watching the bear intently. Until it charged at her, she pointed the spear towards the beast, but it wasn't enough! The spear snapped apart, Aneworia was jolted against the ground and pinned down by the bear! It began clawing relentlessly, tearing apart her flesh and arms. In spite of the pain, she reached for the broken tip of the spear, and plunged it through it's neck several times. A few moments of twitching passed, until the bear went limp. Guar'un was fine, Aneworia was less so. A few parts of her body was shredded, but she was still breathing and able to move -- making her the luckiest girl in the world. They skinned the bear, and to this day, Aneworia still has the bear pelt around her shoulders, a reminder to her of the strength of the soul.
Guar'un had promised years ago that he would return Aneworia to the Humans, as soon as the conflict dies down. However, the Demon gates happened... But were soon closed, leaving stragglers in it's wake. The pair encountered a pack of fiery hellhounds along the road. The hounds barked and snarled at the young girl and Guar'un drew his rugged blade and fought the pack! As much as she wanted to stay, he begged her to run. She did, and for a moment, she glanced back, only to see Guar'un be overwhelmed by the hellhound pack. Aneworia bolted to the forest, tears running down her cheeks. She hid in a nearby log and waited until the pack had passed by. For the first time in eleven years, she was once again alone.
A few weeks later, Aneworia stumbled across an old librarian named Baro, who was initially shocked at her appearance. The man took Aneworia in, as and questioned her. The untrusting girl didn't answer for a few days until she was comfortable enough. She told him everything -- the raids, living in the wilds for years with the peaceful Orc... Then seeing him die to the forces of the Pact. Swayed by her story, he was left with a choice: leave her in the wilds where Pact ran rampant, or take her in. Baro felt it was right to take her in... Though she would be another mouth to feed during these trying times, it was the right thing to do.
For eleven more years, Aneworia lived with Baro -- who taught her manners, how to read, and generally a multitude of societal norms. She read an all manner of books, from myths and legends, to the minute details of hunting and gathering. She would watch the demonic and other-worldly events unfold from afar, plagues and invasions... All the meanwhile, but very cautiously, she would hunt for game and make some money.
Until, Baro had passed away from old age. As much as she loved books, her place was not in the library -- for she was much more at home outdoors. Her whole childhood was stripped away from her, demons would ravage the lands, and her only friends and family gone. Not only that, but she needed to make a life for herself -- one that she had total control of, and where nobody would take anything from her again without her say. With all the myths and legends about larger than life heroes, she saw the world as a canvas to change she thought: maybe I can help bring balance to the world. She gathered her belongings, and set foot on the road.

--Scenarios—
A small riot breaks out in Barkamsted between Humans and Pact races. They're quickly gaining the attention of the guards as the situation escalates. Your character is somehow swept up into the crowd as the situation grows more dangerous, what do they do?
Aneworia kicks into survival mode. As much as she believes the Pact isn't as bad as people say they are, right now her survival is top priority. Within moments people begin punching each other! Aneworia tries her best to slip out of the crowd. Before she could get out, a burly Troll grabbed her by her hair and spat some vulgar language. She thrusted her elbow into the Troll's ribs, and threw a punch at his lip! The Orc stumbled slightly, but before she could get away, he grasped her arm and tugged her close! "LET GO!" She screeched before she sank her teeth into the Orc's hand! Blood spurted out of the Orc's hand and she tasted metal. The Orc let go and held his hand in pain, as Aneworia continued out through the crowd. As soon as she popped out of the riot, the guards were arriving and the fight had gotten violent. She turned away and walked down the street, all the while wishing she could do something.
For whatever reason, your character finds themselves in an ancient tomb, the walls thick with brambles and foliage. From up ahead, you spy what appears to be a shambling mound of something. It pauses, quivers and moans. What do they do?
Aneworia narrows her eyes and nocks an arrow onto her bow. She creeps over to the shambling and watches closely. Through the foliage, she can see a wolf writhing on the floor... Aneworia glances up for a moment, and sees a shimmer of light glistening through an empty hole in the tomb. "He broke his leg..." She spoke to herself. The wolf perks up and notices the young woman and growls, attempting to scare her away. She creeps closer with a hand in front of her, "Let me help you." She said as she rips apart a small piece of meat from her pouch. The wolf growls heighten, hairs rise up the beast's spine. Quickly, she placed the meat in front of the wolf... It sniffed the meat before swallowing it whole. She continues her approach, this time the growls a lot more gradual. She does her best to patch up the wolf, using a stick and some bandages as a cast. After she leaves the tomb, she carries the wolf onto her shoulders, starts a fire, and feeds the wounded wolf more until it heals.
--Magic Application--
Magic Biography: Through books, she had found an interest in magical powers. She would read about heroes, able to cast remarkable feats of magic -- whether it be resurrecting fallen allies, or able to create storms with the snap of a finger. Her and Baro would talk about it for countless hours... Until, Baro pulled out a trinket from a hidden drawer. He explained that this was a gift from his departed friend. Aneworia's eyes were fixated on the trinket, she explained to Baro she had felt a mysterious aura emanating from it. His eyes widened with such awe, "You're a mage!" He exclaimed! Aneworia was baffled how she hadn't figured this out before, but as they say: better late than never. Thus began her newfound interest in magic.
She had began to speculate whether she could obtain such a remarkable power. What could one even do with such a power? She would be able to defend herself for one... For when navigating through certain environments, even for hunting. Or for sailing the ocean. But in all honesty, she had a gift with wind... Why would she not use such an amazing gift? It would certainly be useful for her. She would dabble with the trinket at times, experimenting what she could do. Only small drafts of wind, which wasn't much, but it was enough for Aneworia. She would need to find somebody who was trained in this field of magic... It definitely wouldn't be easy.
Please describe the magic system, including its limitations in your own words:
First things first: you need to have Bothimir's gift to cast magic -- unless you're a witch, then no you wouldn't need it. But if they do have the gift, they will be able to train and hone their skills. Everybody starts out weak, and then get stronger and stronger. Depending on how strong your magic is (unless you are a natural caster) you will need a trinket. You must meet the level of that trinket in order to be able to cast properly, and not burn your face off or turn yourself inside out which would be horrifying.
Magic is exhausting. You will 100% get tired after you brought down the wrath of God onto some poor man. Magic users can only cast so much depending on their level, and it will take a toll on you and your body if you overcast... which can lead to injury or death. HOWEVER, they can roll and avoid it, but only for so long... they may cast their strongest level up five times, second up to five, third up to twenty, and it goes on until they get tired or somebody is a pile of ash. As for aspects, characters only have a few aspects that can be trained past medium -- as well as depending on their race.
Cantrips are a thing too -- when you become proficient in your field of magic, you may be able to cast a small amount of magic without being a toll on your body. But they may only be used if a mage has used a powerful spell in the month. Magic decay is something to watch out for too -- basically, if you don't use it you lose it. A mage must use magic regularly if they are to maintain their level of mastery.
Please describe how you would use a weak trinket with your characters first/only aspect:
Being a frequent hunter, Aneworia would be able to the wind to her advantage. Say she is hunting down a deer, there would be a multitude of things she could do. She could call forth a small draft of wind to mask her footsteps, manipulate the wind to blow into the eyes of the deer so that it looks away from her direction, or even startling it by creating a rustle to which the deer would be distracted by... Maybe all at once if she plays her cards right.
Other than that, she would see no use other than teasing people or sneaking past them. Unless she was strong enough to slice something open, create cyclones for people who insult her, or move at extreme speeds... There would be nothing else to do but wear the trinket, which screams: I know magic and I'm better than you.
Well that's it. Love you to whoever is reading this!
Hi! Thanks for the application and the patience, it's a very good start! I really enjoy the character that you've laid out, and the backstory, but there's unfortunately some minor things that need adjusting, so the app is
Pending
First thing's first! While Barkamsted itself was under siege pretty often in the very late days of the Pact War, it was also known as the Last Bastion of Man. So, most of the time, orcs and pact races didn't exactly lay waste to the city. However, people did still flee from the oncoming pact forces into small towns and such, which were almost always razed and destroyed during the last years of the war.
Secondly, it's important to note what the orcs are and what the Pact was. The Pact was a selection of races from the far eastern lands of desert and sand, and mostly was comprised of Orcs, Trolls, and Goblins. The desert was a brutal and hostile place to live, and they faced a diminishing supply of food and water. Only the strong survived in the constant war for resources. When the Cult made themselves known to the orcs, they promised fertile land away from the smouldering heat of the desert, though for a price; the utter destruction of humanity. The orcs eventually gathered themselves into a unified front, sweeping up the trolls and goblins as well. This became the entity known as 'the Pact', and they often fought alongside the esoteric Cultists and other creations of the Cult to conquer the land of Saphriel. (I'd suggest reading through the Orc and Goblin race pages, they provide a bit more context)
Most orcs were aligned with the idea of the Pact war. Those that weren't would have to earn their voice in blood against those stronger than them. Which is exactly where Guar'un would have to fit. While it wasn't entirely unheard of to have orcs who were against the war, it would be very strange for an orc to be actively fighting against the Pact. Not saying that this needs to be changed! Just providing some context. However, I do think it's a bit strange he thinks all life is precious, but then kills a handful or two of his own people Perhaps a little edit towards his motivations and some context there would be due.
A small note about the bear fight as well; Even orcs, one of the strongest and most durable peoples of Saphriel, would struggle as Gaur'un did against a bear. They're massive creatures, strong and durable, with a lot of fatty tissue that helps protect against wounds. I would suggest a small edit so that Gaur'un weakened the bear a deal in the initial fight, but was overwhelmed. It would be more realistic for Aneworia to finish the bear off that way, but she'd be the luckiest girl in the world to still come out unscathed.
Also, just a small note, but demons generally are few and far between in the current lands of Saphriel. They were largely sealed away at the closure of the last hell gate. The land of Saphriel is actually going through a small period of peace at the moment, at least for the larger cities of Falkvard and Barkamsted.
The thing that would need to be edited the most, I feel, is the magic biography. It's a bit bare on how she discovered her gift. People aren't necessarily inherently privy to the knowledge that they're a mage! A person can go their whole life without ever finding out, actually. However, when a person has Bothimir's Gift, they'll actually be able to feel trinkets (and sometimes other magical items) near them. Perhaps Baro the librarian had a trinket stashed away, or he brought one home, and she happened upon it. (Just a reminder, unless you're a natural casting race, you always need a trinket to cast!) The functional knowledge of how the magic system works, is very good, however! No corrections need there.
Other than that, there are a few spelling and grammar errors, and I think you might have left an old name (Kra'k) in the paragraph about the bear attack. Once you fix those handful of things, I'd be more than happy to take another look at it and welcome you onto the server! Just be sure to ping the thread when the edits are made.
Thanks for making the edits that you did! It seems you have a solid grasp on the dynamics of the Pact War, although it should be noted that 'the Pact' doesn't necessarily exist as a political entity at the moment. However, the blade of the war still runs very deep, and even though tensions have lessened somewhat, the wounds are still very fresh for many.
This application is otherwise
Accepted!
I can't wait to see how your character's story unfolds!
Ello! Just a quick post as requested by Synder, my first post here with my actual application was blocked by spam filters so I’ll be just adding google doc links, since you’re not allowed to re-post the same text. Sorry for any inconvenience.
For the application itself, with a TL;DR backstory:
Thank you for posting your application! Unfortunately, there are a couple details that have to be adjusted before going any further. Not too massive, but issues nevertheless that make for an app that can't be accepted just yet.
The first issue is that Lucey is far too short for a Half-High Elf. They tend to range between six and seven feet, with the very rare individual being perhaps an inch or two taller or shorter. Furthermore, on the topic of individuals infected by the plague, they were not quarantined within their own homes but instead often sent to a specific keep in Falkvard or camp outside of Barkamsted to be managed by holy mages and other such individuals.
Once these details are edited into an acceptable range, please give a poke or message and another review will shortly follow!
All edited and underlined if I missed anything let me know and I can update it, but for all intents and purposes he is now a half-dark elf, and when his family were quarantined they were moved to an encampment outside of Falkvard. Hope that's a more accurate representation of you lore ^^
Thank you for applying the necessary edits, and welcome to Saphriel! I hope you enjoy your character and stay! You'll be whitelisted soon, in the meantime, please feel free to check out this post on the Enjin forums regarding common RP hotspots, if you haven't already.

--IC Information—
Character name: Audric Gudabude
Race: Human
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Character Description:
(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s physical appearance, including height, eye color, and skin tone.)
Standing in at 5 feet 6 inches, and weighing at 163 pounds, Audric is your average human lad. He has light blue eyes, dark brown hair, and a pale skincolor. His face is nothing too special but by no means ugly with his youth. He is also somewhat muscular but not bulky, with most of his muscle being in his calves. His hands, however, are quite worn and used due to his time spent wandering.
Character Occupation: (Optional)
(For us to understand your characters starting skill set, your character still will need to contact the Kingdom to purchase any property)
Audric is currently a wanderer and quite barely an adventurer as the fiercest thing he's faced thus far has been a quite ornery raccoon that was around his camp. Ate well that night at the very least. He does, however, have a minor skill for cooking.
Character Personality/Traits:
(At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.)
He's a dreamer, optimist, and very loyal - almost to a fault as it's likely he'll tag along with the first person that treats him well. Let us hope they are good. Being a dreamer and an optimist, it's quite likely that he doesn't know the world for how it is as he's rarely gone into any rougher part in the world.
Character Biography:
(At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences, you must reference server lore)
Audric, the young adventurer. Practically a child in mind set off from his family's home in search of adventure in life. Three generations of the Gudabude family had managed to avoid the wars and disasters via their secluded homestead nestled within the mountains and hills south of Barkamsted. Audric, however, had never actually gone up to the city, but instead hears rumors and tales from the ever so rare passerby to their homestead. He, himself, rarely traveling a mile out. However, some days after his 18th birthday he decided to set out and see the world for himself. Thus, his story begins.
Other/Extra: (Images, notes, etc.)
Before I continue onto the next bit, I want to let you know that I'm terrible with backstories but Audric is nothing special. He is a normal person discovering the world. If you would like two paragraphs of him farming for 18 years I'll tell you, but I don't believe it necessary. I tend to grow my characters within the server rather than everything up front.
--Scenarios—
Please give us a roleplay response to both of these scenarios, at least one paragraph each:
A small riot breaks out in Barkamsted between Humans and Pact races. They're quickly gaining the attention of the guards as the situation escalates. Your character is somehow swept up into the crowd as the situation grows more dangerous, what do they do?
Firstly, Audric would wonder how he even got in the situation. Being rather, frail, he would attempt to escape the mob through the side. Is this what Barkamsted really is? A bunch of civil unrest? No, there has to be more. He would not partake in any rioting but would try to observe until they pass.
For whatever reason, your character finds themselves in an ancient tomb, the walls thick with brambles and foliage. From up ahead, you spy what appears to be a shambling mound of something. It pauses, quivers and moans. What do they do?
Good job, Audric, you got yourself into trouble again. His immediate action would, of course, try and get away from the shambling, thing. If escape is not an option, he'd draw his weapon. You did bring a weapon, right? He, however, would not leap into combat but instead just stand there watching it, and hoping it'll leave on it's own. If it doesn't after the few hours of silent observation, it would seem he'd have to confront it. Let us hope it's not too mean.
--Magic Application--
(Optional, this form must be filled out if you want your character to have magic at all.)
Magic Biography:
(At least three paragraphs about your character's relationship to magic, and how they may discover their potential.)
Please describe the magic system, including its limitations in your own words:
(Two Paragraphs, please mention how one would cast, the limitations to casting and specific races, and the consequences of overuse)
Please describe how you would use a weak trinket with your characters first/only aspect:
(Try to be creative, while acknowledging its limitations and utility uses)
-Please note that some aspects are set when a character is born, while others are up to practice. The number of aspects you have is limited by your character's race, but they may have less than the max should you so choose, but they will not be able to regain that lost aspect naturally-
Thank you for applying! First of all, your backstory for the character is in fact way too short and we require at least three well-formed paragraphs. He may be quite young but his parents would have had to deal with the Pact War and the other various dangerous events that accrued over the years. They would not have been able to live outside the city of Barkamsted at the time of the Pact War as the only safe haven was to be inside the cities at the time so please go into detail about these. Tell us more about his family what they do, how was he raised, what's his parent's beliefs, what are his dreams and goals. There is much you could add to this backstory but we very much require you to add in the various wars and major events of the server to your backstory so please read up on the lore and timeline to help you flesh out the backstory! Also, if you are applying for magic please fill out that section if not remove that portion from your application!
I don't mean to start any issues, but I've a counterpoint. I'm not playing the parents. I do not wish to have a 'tragic' backstory either as I'd hope this would be a character to let me actually see the world. Another counterpoint to living outside the city was that (From what I understood in the lore) the only way to it was through a land bridge/swamp. If the Pact got past that, they set siege to the city? The was I was hoping for it was that they were in 'the right place at the right time.'
I respect the decision, and will be putting in another application if those point's don't change your mind, as I have friends (Who, admittedly are much better roleplayers.) that are joining, and I just wish to play with them

Character Description:
Tara is a 6’10” teen elf, with silver hair and blue eyes. She is soft spoken in her tone and is rather reserved at first as she is an orphan, however she is mixed with emotions and will open to the right people. She has never held a weapon or even knows the basics of how weapons work besides sticking a sword with the pointy end at someone.
Her skin tone is pale, a little similar to the color of snow, the contract of her blue eyes and silver hair show off her slim build. She carries herself in a contridciting manner of confidence and shyness, like someone who knows too much for their own good but not enough to make it useful.Tara while a bit shy is well spoken, in regards to she knows how to read a situation and knows what words to use to try to keep herself out of trouble.
Character Occupation: (Optional)
She wouldn’t have an occupation, however she can cook and bake very well.
Character Personality/Traits:
Tara has many flaws and a few positives, which is shown in her personality from time to time. She lacks self-confidence due to her parents passing at an early age and having to fend for herself she feels she is a burden if asking for help. People can see this in her tone and words she uses (stuttering, emotes of her looking down or not making eye contact, etc). When in a comfortable position her personality is bubbly, joyful and a bit of a troublemaker type (it would not be unheard of, if she were to learn how to use a bow for her to practice in a crowded area and break a window by accident. Another example is she does have a history of wandering around and getting into places /hearing conversations she shouldn’t which has resulted in her being caught and threatened with violence though she has never physically been punished.)
Tara is over all nice to everyone she meets, willing to give people a chance to get to know her. She believes everyone makes mistakes and is willing to forgive or even justify someone’s misdeeds. However, she is moody. She has feelings of anger, sadness, happiness etc in her and she doesn’t at times know how to control it. When she gets angry she is prone to “fits” where she will throw anything near her or hit or kick a wall. Despite injuring herself doing so she has not found an outlet.
Tara loves to cook, but is herself a picky eater. She wont eat her fruits or vegetables and if left to her own devices will eat cake and sweets if given the chance. She is active, fit wise so her love for sweets keeps her slim build.

Tara was born before the Ca'lair invsasion of Barkamsted to a middle class family of elves who were well respected but not known for anything in particular. Her mother loves to cook and bake, this is something Tara picked up on, observing and helping out in the bakery her mom worked in. Her father, a blacksmith by trade was fairly distance yet stern to Tara in her upbringing. He would never show her how her worked, but did love her by giving her gifts such as teddy bears and toys. They would bond with their common love of reading, Tara would read with her father for hours on end sometimes until mother summoned them for dinner.
Her personality was early shaped as a product of her parents and the Pact War. Of course she wasn't even born for the war, but her raising reflected it. Her parents quiet proud to be elves told her stories of Silivrenmir and how it looked and their elven culture. They told her about how much better it was there, than where they were living having to deal with "lesser" races. Tara would be hesitant of others all her life as a result, yet kind and open, just on guard.
Her younger years saw struggle, during the plague her family while immune to the sickness had to adapt to the world around them, in particular everyone who was not immune. Tara was forced to spend a lot of times inside, instructed that under no circumstances should she leave unescorted due to the chaos around. At one point the family boarded up the windows and doors, unable to make money due to the plague they survived off little. The fall out of such events they survived however tragic would strike the young elf again,
Things would seem okay, the family slowly trying to recoup what was looted and lost during the plague. Her mother no longer employed as a baker sold her own baked goods to those who passed by her, while her father the blacksmith struggled to find customers who would afford his work. Things looked up just a little bit as they started to earn money again, until the imposters of Ca'ilar began their invasion and killed both her parents in the same night. While Tara did not witness their deaths or ever see their bodies again, she always knew they were taken from her too soon. Now Tara is not only homeless, but an orphan. With so little to keep her going, she packed her teddy bear “Mister Snuggles” and food and set off to try to become an adult on her own.
She has failed thus far, sometimes getting a bed in exchange for her working in various kitchens as a servant cook she knows how to get food and shelter but her life is not the best. When she cant find work to barter a bed for its not uncommon for the teen-elf to squat away in an empty…and sometimes not empty…home trying to remain undected by finding dark areas to sleep in. She has no issues stealing small things to survive, food, a tender box, drink etc.. Often times what little she does have she offers to the God Kinos, while she knows he wants a tribute of harvest she is unable to do so but does leave food she obtains. She knows of the other gods but not much detail however she respects them and their followers.
She now wanders, living day to day in the kingdom hoping maybe someone will see some potential in her and take her in, or at the very least take pitty on the elf who is in her own words “lost and broken but I can cook a damn good cake”

Tara, being young and inexperienced in anything that can remotely help would look for a tree or high place to climb from a distance to observe. If the situation starts to threaten her, as in bodies around her are falling she takes a weapon off the ground if she can find one and she…runs. She runs far and far until she finds a safe home to get into. She would not knock, she would enter and the first words out of her mouth are
“Theres a riot and im scared” to a complete stranger.
For whatever reason, your character finds themselves in an ancient tomb, the walls thick with brambles and foliage. From up ahead, you spy what appears to be a shambling mound of something. It pauses, quivers and moans. What do they do?
Tara, not knowing any better would approach this and talk softly to it. Most likely this is a horrible decision but the teen-elf is inexperienced and her own curiosity got her in this tomb to begin with. As she approaches the object she feels a sudden emotion of regret as it reaches out to her. She knows she needs to head back but its too late, she has already approached. Left to whatever fate the mound deems. She has been trapped by its moans, almost like it knew she has sympathy to a falt when others are in danger…
Honestly, you have a really great understanding of the lore! It's very nice to see and we always appreciate new characters that can truly feel a part of the world. There is just one thing that I think your application would benefit from its addition, which is thus why it is currently...
Pending
At her age, Tara would have never truly known the devastation of the Pact War. However, her parents would have known and I suppose some of the implication is still apparent with the family having found their place in Barkamsted. Even still, its impact could factor into how the parents adjusted to the human city and the views on Pact races they may have passed onto Tara. It could be a very minor thing, or it could have been a formative part of her early childhood where the family refused service to an orc or goblin. I think it would ultimately be a good thing to include.
As well as this, I do want to note that since you didn't fill out a magic application, Tara would not be able to use its gift later on. Elves are a highly attuned race to magic, and it is more rare for them to not be capable of such. It is ultimately your choice, so just take this as a short reminder!
Your character and magic application are Pending!
Your character and magic application are Pending!

--IC Information—
Character name: Aneworia (yes... I'm playing her again -- I'm not finished until I'm satisfied)
Race: Human
Age: 26
Gender: Female
For the first four years of her life, Aneworia and her parents lived in a town outside of Barkamsted.

Done! I really appreciate you taking the time to read my application! I hope this is enough to satisfy the necessary fixes needed
I think quoting it is much better xD but yeah thank you!

(Try to be creative, while acknowledging its limitations and utility uses)
-Please note that some aspects are set when a character is born, while others are up to practice. The number of aspects you have is limited by your character's race, but they may have less than the max should you so choose, but they will not be able to regain that lost aspect naturally-
Applications are still welcomed! We are always looking for new faces!
This application is Denied.
I respect the decision, and will be putting in another application if those point's don't change your mind, as I have friends (Who, admittedly are much better roleplayers.) that are joining, and I just wish to play with them
The application status stands as is, you're more than welcome to reapply with the information given! We look forward to seeing the changes, please feel free to post when you have edited your application!

Define Power-gaming in your own words : Controlling the outcome of another player or situation. An example would be “He takes his fist and punches him” this leaves no defense to the other player and forces an action, where it should be “He takes his fist and attempts to punch him”.
Define Meta-gaming in your own words: Knowing something OOC and acting IC. Such as you are in one place, you read on discord your friend halfway across the kingdom is in trouble so you rush over there for no IC reason.
Define Role-Playing in your own words: Taking a character and adapting them to a society and timeline that is much different than current. A character can have many flaws and positives to play that real people don’t.
--IC Information—
Character name: Tara
Race: High-Elf
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Character Biography:
(At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences, you must reference server lore)
Other/Extra: (Images, notes, etc.) : None
--Scenarios—
Please give us a roleplay response to both of these scenarios, at least one paragraph each:
A small riot breaks out in Barkamsted between Humans and Pact races. They're quickly gaining the attention of the guards as the situation escalates. Your character is somehow swept up into the crowd as the situation grows more dangerous, what do they do?
