This is a very well written application. I appreciate the extensive definitions and examples for power- and meta-gaming. Hopefully your ability to express your knowledge of the topic means you'll be refraining from it. The backstory and RP scenarios hit the mark and we look forward to seeing you on the server! I'll also be sending you a Skype request shortly to add you to the server group.
When you join the game you are allowed one free home in the city if you so choose, simply pick an unclaimed home that does not have a for sale sign on it and post your name on a sign somewhere around the front door! If you would rather build your own home then you may instead claim any empty area along the roads behind the city and build there, or if you prefer, anywhere you would like in the wilds outside the city limits.

-Do you have any prior roleplay-related experience, if so could you give an example?
I believe I've had experience on. . . One server? . . . Maybe more, but I can only explicitly remember one. . . The experience consisted of me using just one character persona (Which I will be dropping in order to try and pursue new routes with characters and roleplaying experiences). The character was related with light elemental magic, but was still in early learning phases which would well. . . Pretty much only do as your Holy magic description states, but the character was so far behind with magic due to the necklace in which he infused his magic powers through was decades old, having been passed down by his father, whom was a knight that used light to fight. The character was also of such that lived in high altitudes which enabled for him to have more stamina when it came to running, jumping, hiking, etc. . . The character was also one that tended to either keep to himself or instead associate himself with those of high authority which was from his prior association and training with a high authority (this authority being relative to the servers I've played on, and their lores). This association and training gave him the mindset of a Noble. I realize that this type of experience is lacking as I only really played with one character and never had any other experiences fairly often, but- I am aware of how roleplaying works and generally most aspects of it; therefore, i'll continue putting my best efforts within this server.
-Define Power-gaming in your own words: Destroying everyone with your pinkie of death, which would then spread disease to those who came within a mile of the body. The horror, indeed.
-Define Meta-gaming in your own words: If I recall correctly. . . This is like cheating via having sources OOC in order to gain more for yourself IC?

-Character name: Heizentaru Arashi
-Character race: Human
-Character age: I haven't the slightest clue. . . I suppose i'll go with 16, but feel free to give a better age suggestion; as it doesn't really bother me about the age of my character.
-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!):
No occupation. . .
-Character description(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):
Heizentaru Arashi's appearance consists of silvery white hair. The hair, albeit its color being that of something that'd be considered shiny or glossy, is actually more of a matte appearance. His eye color is emerald. His skin color is consistent of a light tan, in order to go with his status as a Nomad, whilst also complimenting the fact that he won't always be in the sun due to different areas within the world consisting of different terrains and such. Clothing goes as this- Shirt is a white shirt, though worn down to more of a beige. Pants were. . . (I don't know how to describe this, but I googled medieval pants, and images came up with something I saw fit) black with a belt that has a small pouch in which to carry items within it for his travels. The items contained within this would be consistent of: money, items found on his travels, potions, etc. . . The contents of the pouch will be considered empty for the creation of this application, but the idea is given. Following up on his only other accessory, he has a necklace made of blackened silver which is embedded with an emerald in the necklaces pendant. As he travels throughout the world, different climates are traveled by him which gave him reason to pick up a cloak-ish cape of sorts. This item can be set to act as a cape as rolling it back over his shoulder, yet rolled over his shoulders in order to protect him from any sort of searing heat, cold, or wind. Yes, this is pretty power-gaming-esque. But, its not perfect protection, as it's not made of any sort of ridiculous materials. Just sort of. . . cloth? He also carries goggles around his neck to go with this sort of protection against elements throughout the world. His shoes are. . . Well. . . I'm not sure what varieties there are, so can I just say basic shoes? This pretty much covers his appearance in a fairly quick manner.
In a more descriptive look over his appearance-
His hair was covered descriptively.
His eyes are emerald, if someone is close enough to see his eyes they will notice that there's a sharp glimmer that fades once someone notices it.
His shirt was white, it was worn down rather recently, as he had come across his first desert, which ravaged his clothing pretty harshly. It affected his shirt more than anything else. The material is cloth.
His pants are black, covered in dust, but this dust is slowly being removed whilst he continues to travel. The material is a rough/thick cloth.
His pants hold his travel sack belt thing around them, the color of such is beige. This would now come close to matching his worn white shirt. The material of this is leather.
His shoes. . . I don't know how to describe these. They're just shoes. I know i'll need a color if someone sees this and needs it for rp purposes, so we'll consider the color to be silver/black. The material is (I'm choosing this based off of an assumption, apologies for an incorrect choice) leather.
His cloak is colored as pine is (Essentially a dark green, you can google the colors), he noticed multiple color choices but the green caught his eyes the most whilst browsing, so he chose this as his purchase. The material is a cloth of some sort.
His goggles are colored a dark brown, made of a leather.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.):
As Heizentaru Arashi is a nomadic character, his personality is solitary whilst around new people. Along with the solitary personality he carries, he'll tend to observe whoever he's speaking to and try to decipher what kind of person they are as well as how he should act around them. With this, he'll tend to adapt to the person and become open to them pretty quickly. He'll tend to try and keep his relationship with others close as to not make enemies. He believes that if he were to make enemies, he'd be endangering himself greatly. Though, he may have more friends than most, it'd be unwise in his opinion seeing as he doesn't want to endanger anyone if he himself is in danger. Once he grows close to someone, he becomes more outgoing than one would notice after first meeting him. When it comes to his motives and traits that decide how he'll act on any situation, he'll mostly take the more laidback route of things as he sees it as the most optimal route to protect himself and any friends he makes during his travels. Though, if he comes across a major decision, or event, he'll turn his whole persona into one that none of his friends would know of unless they were so close to him that he considered them to be family. With this new persona shown, he'll become that of someone who takes everything seriously (most vague opening description ever). With this, everyone around him will notice this change as if he has become someone completely different, whilst taking notice that the aura within the air feels more different around everyone. Along with his seriousness, he'll also show his true emotions and speak his true emotions; as the current moment is important to him.
Quirks. . . Quirks. . Quirks. He finds reading highly interesting, and will tend to pick up a book and start reading it in almost every situation possible. . . .Y'know, i'm not sure what to say for quirks. I honestly feel like there should be some more quirks, but I just can't figure out what would be a good one for this character. If you have any suggestion(s) for one, feel free to mention it.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
Oh boy. . . I have to actually use the enter key for this part, why must you torture me so? Also. . . The geographical information provided in the lore is slim. . . And, i've checked the enjin place for a map (quickly, not thoroughly). . . I really wanted to say he grew up in a valley or mountain. . . But humans wouldn't have survived in mountains. . . And, I dunno where a valley would be in correlation to everything else. . . So, i'll just go with him being from Barkamsted. . .
Heizentaru Arashi was born in the latest stages of the war, which would be. . . (This will go according to the age I gave, but if you suggest a different age, this will be altered to that) 14 years prior to the war's end. He grew up with both of his parents, though he distanced himself from them as he began to take an interest in books at the age of 4. As he grew older, he had finished all of the books within his home and from any nearby neighbors or relatives in 4 years. At this time, he had begun pestering his parents to let him go on his own to the (I'm presuming library, I know somewhere within the OP it said that there were a mass amount of books?) library so he could continue his love of reading with a larger collection to choose from, seeing as the books he had available to him at the time weren't very entitling for him to read and only benefited his reading skills and intellect. Throughout this time he had also begun growing more distant from his childhood friends in order to continue his readings, though he regrets every day he misses growing relationships with many people. Thus ends the beginning third of his current life (according to the age given).
Finally being allowed to go to the library on his own, he also began exercising daily from going to and fro his home and the library (Running). As well as carrying large amounts of books within the library, which grew in numbers as he became more skilled with reading. Whilst he had begun doing this, he quickly made what could be considered his first true friend since he would continue to see this person pretty often with his constant visiting of the library. This, obviously, was the person who ran the library. They took notice of Heizentaru's constant arrivals and mass stack of books that he would read in one, or more depending on the time and size, day of being at the library. Whilst he began to read from the library, his horizons of the world grew and he became aware of more things that had occurred in the world. Of all the things that he enjoyed reading, and continued to read about regularly, he took a particularly large interest in wind. He knew it was possible for him to learn magic on his own if he were able to come across an artifact. Though, he knew it would be nearly impossible for him to come across one with the current state that things were in (Referring to the war). So, he decided that he'd continue studying and reading while focusing primarily on artifacts and even moreso on wind. The expression of his interest in these two things was only expressed towards the owner of the library, as this person was Heizentaru's only friend at the time, and the one he was closest to in his life. In regards to his relationship with his parents through this second third of his life, it stayed as was prior. The only difference between interactions here would be that his parents tried to be closer to Heizentaru by showing interest in what he was reading and trying to keep up with him and all he was reading about.
As we reach the final third of the overview of Heizentaru's life, we skip to the time where the war had ended. This is done as the only thing done prior would be his continued reading and studying of artifacts and the element of wind, as well as more exercise than just running and lifting books, due to his slight realization that he'll need to be strong if he ever plans on looking for an artifact and not getting attacked for being in possession of it. . .Or anything related to such, he was just worried that he wasn't strong enough physically. Once the war ended, he would be at the age of 14, he decided he would begin preparing to travel across the lands as far and wide as he could search. As he had read so much, he was aware that just travelling in any ordinary clothes wouldn't completely keep him safe from elements of the world. With such an acknowledgement, he decided he would begin roaming the city in search of equipment/clothing that would suffice. Though, never having worked for any sort of money (Yes, he never worked at the library he practically lived at, it makes perfect sense. But, it had to be done in order for some more important history and memories between him and his parents to be there), he confronted his parents about his objective and plans. Though, they rarely ever saw him or communicated much with him, they denied harshly as they were beginning to become to old to think lightly of such a plan. They were also too afraid for him to end up dead from those races that despised humanity. They went on to lecture him for a good amount of hours, trying to crush any positive hope he had in continuing to pester for the continuation of this plan. And, going against the general "nothing stops someone from their dreams" nonsense, Heizentaru was crushed by all the things they said to him in order to reject his request. With such disappointment, Heizentaru had stopped going to the library and confined himself within his home for the upcoming year. For the first week of this, his parents only thought that he would finally be giving up on his silly and dangerous dreams that could kill him without them ever knowing. They started to pester him about life and jobs, and act joyful around him thinking that their son would finally be someone that they could communicate with and consider their friend. But, this quickly faded as Heizentaru never responded to them and rarely looked at them other than to. . . Observe, sure. Though, this behavior of his parents "quickly" faded, they would continue pestering him about various things to try and get any sort of reaction or response from him just to feel at peace with their son. After half a year passed, quickly for all three of them due to the peacefulness and well. . . nothing happening around their home (around = within) that would extend time, they started coming home from jobs/meetings/hobbies with books to try and bring the life back into their son. At first, they thought that he was going to "come back to life" but that was swiftly shot down when all Heizentaru did was glance at the covers of the books and move them aside; giving away the fact to his parents that he had read them. They continued bringing books home daily for a month, then weekly the next, and then rarely the third. Each book shot down by Heizentaru, bringing more and more shock to his parents (No clue how they'd be shocked, he practically lived in the library. . . Parents be parents). It was around this time that the end of the year was arriving, and the parents' thoughts on Heizentaru grew graver and graver after the books failed and they had no idea what else they could do. Eventually, after consulting for almost one month straight (Heizentaru observed the consulting between the two immensely trying to decipher what was being discussed, but couldn't figure it out since they were too far yet he couldn't get close enough to not be noticed). And, finally, after all of the consulting, they told him that they'd allow him to follow his dream as long as he would return to Barkamsted at least once a year to bring relief to them that he was still alive and well (And to talk to them about everything he's done, because y'know. . . Parents). With this, he started roaming the city with the. . . small-ish amount of money that his parents gave to him to prep for the environment and such. He bought a cloak, goggles, and a belt-satchel-thingy (He had no clue what it was, he just needed something light to carry some things in). Though, he had to try his best to "bargain" for a better price, as his parents didn't give him enough to just get all three easily. After this was done, he spent one last day with his parents before leaving as he thought they'd want him to do such. After saying goodbyes, he left his home and made one stop before leaving the city. The library. The librarian was his only friend in the city, and he wanted to make sure that he said goodbye to him, informed him of where he's been and what he was planning on doing.
[Insert Year of Travelling Here]
And, then, his story would start (in the server) with his first return to the city after slightly over a year...
. . . I'm going to have to include that whole year for the experiences, aren't I? . . . *Presumptuous sigh*
I'M ALMOST DONE! ITS BEEN. . . HOURS, PLEASE SEND FOOD AND WATER TO CONTINUE WRITING
-Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios. (At least one paragraph for each.)
You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
*Heizentaru turns his head to see the robber in the corner of his eye before he vanishes in the crowd*
"This would happen in my first return wouldn't it?.."
*Heizentaru sighs, and dashes through the crowd after seeing a small vertical glimpse of the robber, aplogizing for any accidental bumps/shoves he commits*
*He loses sight of the robber, but can slightly make out some grunts and shouts in the mass crowd of the marketplace and takes off through the crowd towards said noises*
*As Heizentaru swiftly navigates the crowd, he finally catches up to the robber and roughly places a hand on the thieves shoulder*
"Grr.." the thief grunted in a rage as he turned raggedly from lack of breath with a knife in hand, intending to stab Heizentaru in his side.
*Heizentaru, moving forward before just placing a hand on the thief, jaggedly moves back but fails to fully dodge the knife and gets a cut along his abdomen, grunting, but manages to stagger the thief on his feet by moving back*
*The thief staggers from the sudden movement and spins onto his back whilst falling to the ground*
"So. . . How about you give back my coin?" Heizentaru politely states after firmly planting one foot on the wrist of the thieves hand holding the knife.
"-struggling noises?-" *The thief tries his best to escape from the victim from which he had stolen with his one free hand, but couldn't budge or muster enough strength from the position he's in*
*Heizentaru notices the coin purse slightly under the thieves back, as it must've fallen out after he had fallen to the ground*
*The thief stops struggling as he realizes it's useless*
"Pick your victim properly next time" Heizentaru states smiling as he bends down, foot still on the thieves wrist, picks up the coin purse and walks away.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
*Heizentaru stares blankly at the situation in front of him*
"Heh, usually i'm the one being ambushed by you wild animals. . ."
*Heizentaru moves towards the mother wolf slowly*
*The mother wolf growls calmly, whilst the pups cower behind the mother*
*Heizentaru slows his movement and gradually extends one arm downwards towards the mother*
*GROWLING INTENSIFIES XD*
"Shh. . ." Heizentaru calmly hushes as he lowers his stance and extends his other arm halfway with the other arm moments away from the trap.
*As his hand nears the bear trap, and another hand is nearing her head, she tries to quickly snap his hand but fails due to her weakness from loss of blood*
*Heizentaru sloppily stops her from snapping with his half extended arm, whilst his thumb is stuck within her jaw (causing him to wince in pain), Heizentaru then proceeds to remove the bear trap from the mother wolf*
*With the trap removed, she instantly tries to run off but fails to do so from the loss of blood and pain in her leg*
"Hang on just a second. . ." He states somewhat angrily, as he fumbles a rag out of his pouch and raggedly applies it around her broken leg. "That's all I can do for you. . . I hope you'll recover. ." He smiles as he presses his bleeding thumb against himself and slowly walks off.
Only fill out if you want your character to have magic capabilities. If you do not fill this out then your character will be incapable of performing any form of magic. Also note that it will take significant in character practice and experience to become any form of proficient in magic.
I hope you won't hate me for not typing a lot for these upcoming magic thingies. . . I've been typing for. . . Awhile. The post above this was 3 hours ago when I started. . . It's now at 7, probably going onto 8, and i'm getting lazy.
-Describe to us why you wish for your character to have magical capabilities:
Well. . . He's been studying magic, artifacts, and wind for half of his life essentially. Though, this doesn't mean much to why he should gain any powers, he'll eventually come across some sort of artifact if he continues his nomad ways. . . Also, he's essentially dedicated most of his life to learning about magic and trying to obtain such a power.
-Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic:
In my opinion, the limitation of those who use magic is based upon the user's experience, physical prowess, and mental prowess. Experience obviously limits the user due to the fact that if you are without experience you can do little to nothing, yet as you progress more and more possibilities of uses for your elemental choice or. . . any choice, to expand into an almost infinite possibility after you've reached the highest amount of experience you could possibly comprehend. Physical prowess limits the user due to the fact that without any sort of muscle or physical prowess the user will quickly become fatigued from any use of magic due to their body being limited by the huge lack of stamina and growing necessity of stamina with more and more higher level spells/magics. Mental prowess limits the user due to the fact that without any sort of knowledge on magic, elements, or whatever your magic is based on, the user will have little to no idea on what they could even do with the magic they possess; without knowledge your magic is weak and essentially nothing since you can't comprehend how or what you're doing.
-Please give a simple description of the magic system in your own words:
*Stares intensely at this trying to figure out what you're asking me to do after four hours*
So. . . Magic is essentially something that, if you possess it, marks you as one who is either a fool who cannot comprehend how it works and breaks relics by accidentally overpowering it. Marks you as one who seeks purely power and nothing but such, therefore the user would be considered. . . well, a fool, for taking such rare things such as artifacts and breaking them by trying to exude the maximum amount of power you can imagine. Or, it marks you as one whose a force to be reckoned with as you're one of the rarest finds, unless you're an elf, that are able to use magic and fully comprehend what you're doing. Because, even if you're magic is weak, you'd be able to use the full potential of such magic and still be a threat. Magic is also something that puts you in a group of people that are extraordinary, and probably hated?, which can handle a weapon that (probably) can match up to the power of a cannon if mastered and if you're able to use high level magic.
-You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket:
Well. . . With the small knowledge (Extensive in the mind of Heizentaru from his studying) of magic and how it works. . . He'd look at the trinket, thinking of how he could try and use magic or test what little he can do. First he'd take it, knowing it's a fire trinket, and attempt to at least emit heat from the small trinket. . . If he failed, and the trinket didn't crush under the pressure of an attempt to make heat, he'd probably attempt to make the smallest flame possible. . . If he failed, he'd stop messing with it to think of any possibility that could further extend the possibility of using some power from the trinket. . . After thinking, he'd either try to light something on fire by holding it above the trinket in his hands via emitting heat/tiny flames from the trinket. . . If he failed, he'd try his last resort for the time after receiving the trinket. This would be sitting in front of a fire and trying to get some sort of outcome from the trinket by looking at the fire intently, closing his eyes to imagine heat/fire around the trinket, and then opening them if he felt any sort of growing heat around the trinket. . . If he failed, he'd stop messing with it for the time being and continue trying daily, slowly trying to get a result. . . If he was close to Barkamsted, he'd hold off on his attempts with the trinket until he returned to practice while gaining knowledge over fire elemental magic, or just trinkets. . . If he wasn't close to Barkamsted, he'd just continue trying daily or seek out the nearest place that could essentially assist him in figuring out how he could start out. . .
ALAS, I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED! NOW I WAIT TO SEE THE WORD PENDING! Unless I somehow don't even get Pending, and get Denied, oh man. . . The horror. . .
It seems that at least some of the stated experience is no lie. That biography had me going like a good book and the character descriptions are on point. We look forward to seeing you on the server!

A character that I look forward to seeing played out. You're descriptions give a nice feel for your character as well. Do note that you won't be starting with any sort of trinket so I suppose your year of travelling turned up empty, but no matter there is still the future. You also won't be travelling for a little while due to the Orcs knocking on your door (that event will be held tomorrow around 4PM EST). I'm sure your fingers are weary so head over to the tavern for a meal and a bottle of mead! I'll send you a Skype request to add you to the server group and we look forward to seeing you on the server!

I greatly appreciate your persistence and I'm sorry for all the time spent waiting. You've shown understanding of power- and meta-gaming with all apps posted and your current backstory is written in line with our lore. There are a few grammatical errors here and there, but nothing that would pass or fail. Be aware that you need a moderator or higher to watch over any thievery RPs. Your magic section will also be accepted. You show understanding of how magic works and knowledge of the physical and mental limits on the user as well. Note that you will not be starting with any magical trinkets. I will send you a Skype request soon to add you to the server group and we look forward to seeing you on the server!

Second attempt and I made a more docile character. Can I just sweaty fig here >_>

She has a friendly personality, always willing to make a new friend but she is mute and thus, communication is always a problem for her if she does not have a parchment and ink with her. As such, people are often put off by Amara because of how troublesome it was to talk to her. Even though she has dark elf blood, her senses were ordinary and her agility was no different from a humans and her physical strength is severely lacking. The only good trait she has is that she is knowledgeable in having read so many books and taking lessons at the orphanage.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):(At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):(At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):(At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
Her greatest friend has always been books ever since her terrible experience at the age of 14. They would accompany her through thick and thin, always having interesting tales of happier times to brighten her day and give her a reason to continue living, for the stories which she can always expect to find. Books would remain by her side, never judging, always staying with her no matter what. Half-dark elf, half human, the book doesn’t judge but others do. Amara has a very unlucky mix of elf and human traits. Inheriting the physical traits of the red eyes of the dark elves, the plain brown hair and peach coloured skin from the humans but most obvious of the lot, the ears of the elf however, only her right ear has the pointy shaped of an elf while her left ear was that of a regular humans. Unlike the dark elves who are supposed to be more agile than other races, Amara’s agility is no different from a human’s. Her senses are also that of human standards. All this adds up to a weak hybrid with no outstanding traits from either race.
Initially, race was never an issue with her. Living in an orphanage in Barkamsted, she was one of the many war orphans who were brought from the outskirts which are now controlled by the Pact to safety by refugee groups. Then, being of the age of 10, she was one of the older elvish children in the orphanage for elves. This gave her some natural respect from the younger orphans as they looked up to her as an older sister. Outgoing, friendly, cheerful, with a smile always on her face, she lived, played, learned, and bonded well with the young elves. Despite all of them being pure-blooded elves, young as they were, discrimination didn’t yet exist in their minds and the old elvish caretaker was also arbitrary to the fact that Amara was a half elf. Four years passed happily but then a new intake changed the way things worked around the orphanage. A new group of elves, brought to Barkamsted by late refugees were admitted to the orphanage. As they entered the orphanage on that day, one of the group, a high elf youth of about 16, noticed Amara and singled her out.
"Aren't you a mud-elf? What are you? Dark elf with those eyes of yours or human with that hair? And those ears, monster aren't you."
Though that day the old elvish caretaker reprimanded the youth for his rudeness, his discrimination did not stop there. Whenever he saw Amara, he would make a snide comment about her status as a half elf and soon, he got a group of elves old enough to understand social norms were to follow along. Amara, though disheartened still had the other elves who she had stayed with for the past 4 years and they swore they would never abandon her and would always see her as a friend and their older sister. Those numbers dwindled as the days passed. Threatened, intimidated and cowed into playing along with the isolation and soon, the once warm orphanage was now a cold hell. Devastated and depressed, Amara retreated to the dorm, to her bed where she would at least be alone and not surrounded by tormentors all over. But being lonely was also painful.
"I'm sorry child. This old elf could not save you. I have something here for you to be your companion for awhile. Don't lose hope, I'll do my best." SWEATY FIG
The old elvish caretaker entered the room, offering his deepest condolences and a package for Amara. The package which the elf had said would be her companion turned out to be a book which spoke about the ancient stories of how the world was created. From then on, absorbed by the contents of the flimsy pages, Amara enjoyed learning about Demosto creating the world, how his four sons shaped the world and much more. Whenever she finished a book, she would visit the old caretaker in his room, wanting to take another book from his collection. And so her life repeated in a cycle. Waking up, eating alone, reading, eating alone, washing up, reading, eating alone, reading, sleeping and it repeats itself again and again. Since the day she got her first book, she never spoke a word again, remaining silent as she opened up to her new friends made of paper and ink. Occasionally she would meet the other elves who would sometimes pick on her and other times just ignoring her but knowing that her books were waiting in the dorm, beside her bed, she was able to endure it. Another four years passed slowly but surely.
Then one night, a fire broke out in the orphanage. Though everyone had escaped, the building and the items inside in were destroyed. Amara's books were no exception. The elves were severely distressed that their home had been lost. The cause of the fire was unknown but they wanted to blame someone just to feel better. And who else but the half elf who had been invisible and silent for the past four years.
"It's her fault! I saw her start the fire!"
"The fire started from the dorms and only she was there so it had to be her!"
"Mud elf! Give us back our homes!"
"No one wants a mud elf! Disappear!"
She wanted to shout out that it wasn't her. That none of this was her fault. She wanted to tell the old caretaker to trust her. But she couldn't speak. Her mouth forgot how to form words, her throat would not produce a sound. 4 years of silence had made mute. Unable to defend herself, showered with insults and death threats, she ran from the orphanage. Around Barkamsted she ran, trying to find solace amongst the large city.

You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
Looking away at the back of the child, she notices his skinny frame and ragged clothing. She returns to the same market the next day, looking out for the same child and she found him, observing the market place probably looking for another target. Taking out her parchments, she approaches the boy and lightly taps him on the shoulder. She holds up her first parchment bearing the word "Hello." and waves to complete to greeting. Unsure of what to do, the boy stands there, hands in his pockets, looking away. Tapping his shoulder again, she brought out her second parchment. "Stealing isn't good. If you get caught how would you support your family?" She holds out a bag of fruits for the boy to take and opens her final parchment. "Share this with your family. Promise me you will come look for me when you need help and not steal?"
Even as she wanted to help the wolves and her cubs, there was no way she could take care of them with her financial situation. Amara heads back to the city and approaches a city guard who she knows. Informing him of the situation, she brings him to where the wolf and its cubs were. The guard asks her to back off as it would get unsightly and painful but Amara, seeing as how she brought him here and sentenced the wolves to their end, shook her head, insisting on staying and watching to the end. Shrugging, the guard draws back his spear stabs the adult wolf in the throat. The wolf shivered as if there was a sudden chill before going limp, blood leaking out of the gaping hole in its neck. Amara underestimated how much her mind could take and closed her eyes and covered her ears, not daring to witness or hear the fate of the cubs.
Only fill out if you want your character to have magic capabilities. If you do not fill this out then your character will be incapable of performing any form of magic. Also note that it will take significant in character practice and experience to become any form of proficient in magic.
-Describe to us why you wish for your character to have magical capabilities:
Since she is a half-elf (dark-elf), the 15% chance of a human having magical capabilities would give her a chance at magic. Also with the amount of disadvantages placed on her (Lack of physical strength, low agility, mute), being able to use magic will offset these disadvantages quite well.
Also for personal reasons, I haven't played a character that can use magic for 2 years and with the interesting system of the server, I am itching to try it out.
-Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic:
Magic is difficult to use in combat as it takes longer to cast. Also, repeatedly using magic will cause mental fatigue which may result in death upon further usage.
-Please give a simple description of the magic system in your own words:
Instead of typing commands to cast spells, searching for characters/items that can teach spells without any consequence, magic are cast through items (artifacts) that can not be created and would mostly be one-of-a-kind.
-You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket:
Spying a homeless family hiding under a decrypt shelter made of rags and odd pieces of thatch and wood, Amara approaches their abode. Freezing in the cold winter that had hit Barkamsted, the parents were hugging their two children, trying to pass as much warmth to each other. Waving to get the attention of the family, Amara points to herself and towards them, asking them whether she could enter. They nodded, thinking she was another passerby who needed a place to shelter even if it was as rundown and cold as theirs. Amara taps the little trinket she received and concentrates on her hands. It was nothing spectacular but the glowed a faint red. Putting her hands on both parents, their eyes widened as they felt the warmth of Amara's hands. They transferred her hands to the children, who hugged them dearly for warmth.

Quite and generally keeps to himself. He isn't one to start a fight, but will do his best to be the one to end it. Not very prideful, and willing to admit he is beaten, though when it comes to something he feels as important he will fight to his last breath. When he is bored he tends to lay with his braid and has little patience for stupid and immature people. He has a high respect for women, expecting them to fight their own fights unless he is asked to intervene. When in a fight, he won't always go for the kill, generally trying to get around killing someone. But, if he feels as if future violence will ensue from their survival, he will take action and end that person there.
-Character biography [/b](At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences)[/i][/b]:[/b]
Cain was apart of a simple family. His parents were of decent sort and he had two siblings, a younger sister and an older brother. He loved his family and there life was plain as far as plain goes. Cain grew up learning various lessons from his father, at least, when his father wasn't out fighting orcs. His mother was a smith as well, though an armorsmith. She taught him one line of smithing and his father taught him general and tool smithing. Throughout the years his small village did well, buying ores and metals from outsiders and then selling various arms and exports.
When Cain was 16, his father began teaching him the art of war. This meant he would learn his numbers, his letters as well as general battle planning. Cain grew to become smart in the field of battle as his father was merciless. Cain's brother and sister were told that if they could ambush Cain with a stick, they could hit him with it. After countless bruises and learning to carry around his training sword, he began to get used to being paranoid. Though one time, his younger sister hit him square in the mouth, busting his lip and leaving a permanent scar.
When Cain was 19, his small town was attacked by a small pack of goblins. At this time, his father and the few soldiers within the small grouping of families were out, leaving the younger men to attend this fight. He armed a few of the young men and the women who were capable of fighting and they braced themselves for the charge of goblins. They were scantily clad in various armors and were using a mix of tools and weapons to defend themselves. There were a total of 9 fighters, Cain and his mother included. There were around 20 goblins in total, though no one was able to get an accurate amount.
The battle didn't last long and was mainly weak fighters trying to defend themselves from the blows of the various goblins. As 7 of the defenders were grouped and cornered, Cain and his mother flanked from behind, scattering the goblins. At this time, there were around 18 goblins left to fight, Cain crushing one beneath his boots and striking another one down with a lumber ax. His mother ran forward with a ******* sword and cleaved on through and the blade came to rest ion the center of the other. At this, the rest of the fighters joined the fray in the battle.
At the end of the day there were six fighters left and no goblins remained. Many rejoiced but Cain set about digging graves for his comrades. When his father came home Cain told his father the story with choked tears. Together they visited his mothers grave. Cain had a white knuckled grip on what was his mothers best smithing hammer as together he and his father and his siblings gazed at what was the remainder of what was their mother and wife. Shortly after this Cain left his village and traveled to a larger city he had heard of, hoping for a new start as his own smith and his own man.

Cain would sprint towards the child, pushing people aside as if they were not there. His legs being longer than the child's, he would quickly catch up to him or her. If the child had a good explanation, he would take his coin back and then go and purchase what the child needed, reprimanding them. If the child was just being greedy, he would take his coin and turn the child into the guards.

Cain would start by first breaking the chain holding the trap where it was. Then he would open the mouth and release the mothers leg. Afterwards he would carry the wolf home, if it would let him. If at any point on this journey the animal would act viciously towards him, Cain would drop the animal then kill it swiftly, then take the puppies. He would either nurse the wolf back to health in order to tame her or her puppies or he would kill the mother and raise the puppies with the money from the mother pelt.

An extensive backstory going into detail with your character. We appreciate you writing up a different character, as this one fits the theme of the server much better. The only complaint is the different ears, we'd prefer if you pick simply elven or human for both. Your magic section of the application will also be accepted, but do note that you won't be starting with any trinkets. The magic app is only for the possibility of performing magic. If you'd like to PM me your Skype name to be added to the server group, you may and we look forward to seeing you on the server!

I'll start off by saying that you will be given two more chances to apply to our server before you are no longer capable of being whitelisted. Now, I'll give you some advice on the necessary corrections you need to make. First, this application lacks an overall flow. It reads very choppily and could use some transitions, improved vocabulary, etc. It also contains many grammatical errors, including spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. Your definition of meta-gaming is incorrect. Lastly, if you choose to resubmit, it would help if you mention the last city Barkamsted, or perhaps more elaboration on your training as a blacksmith. Thank you for the effort put into your application. If you reapply, please post a new application and it will be gladly reconsidered.

-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences): *I took a drink of my ale, the man across from me looked at me expectantly and i sighed.* "Fine, you want to know about me then i guess i mightas well just start with my childhood." *I took one more drink and began recounting my life up until that moment*
I was born in Barkamsted just like alot of other people and honestly, it's the only place i've ever known. Save for a few trips outside the city i haven't ever really gone very far away from it and my home here.
Though growing up wasn't the best life for me or my family. My father was a traveling merchant, often trying to make coin by selling anything and everything he could to soldiers out during the war, and often times this meant he was away for long periods of weeks or even on a few occasion months. Mother was a shopkeeper and sold things people needed in the city itself. My younger brother and i often helped out in the shop in whatever ways we could along with the assistant my mother had who already worked there with her when we weren't around.
Everything was fine and simple until i turned ten and father gathered us all together in mothers shop to tell us that he was going to take a trip further out than he usually did because he believed there could be a huge profit just waiting to be made by him. Mother tried to talk him out of it but nothing was going to change his mind, he made that abundantly clear, all because he said he wanted a better life for us and that money was the only way he could do it. And so he left one summer morning for a trip that was supposed to only take a few months at the most.
Then a year passed and he hadn't come back. My brother, just a year younger than i was, constantly asked mother when he was coming home and she just smiled and gave the same answer every time, "Soon son, soon."
...but he never did.
Then i turned twelve, so a little under two years since father left and i'd given up on him coming home soon and had given my grievances over it, however my brother and mother still seemed to have hope, enough so to the point that mother decided she would leave us with her helper at the store and would go search for him herself.
No matter how much i begged and pleaded she, like father, was stubborn and wasn't going to be stopped by anybody or anything until she found out what happened to him. And so at the end of the next month she had left us, just like father did.
All i had left was my brother and the man who ran our shop now. Mother had left us and i knew she wasn't going to come back, something in my gut told me that, but i couldn't let brother know that's what i thought. Father had left us, and i'd paid my grievances. And now we were alone.
Three more years passed and brother had begun piecing together that they weren't ever coming back. He was...angry all the time. He just felt so betrayed that they would leave us. He blamed them for leaving and me for not stopping them. I knew it was just his anger talking and...and i tried to not to let his words hurt me, after all he is my brother and i love him.
Another year passed, i had turned sixteen and brother had come to me to give his last goodbyes. He said he planned on passing himself off as someone a little bit older so he could go fight in the war. He had long since turned his anger towards the war that was being fought and was determined that if he could kill enough, whether it be orc, goblin, or as it seemed from how he said it, even people should they get in his way, he could avenge out parents dying. I tried to talk him out of it, but it was in vain because he left in the dead of that same night.
I...was alone. I had nobody left who cared about me. No family left at all...
I ran from the shop the next day after i had finally gathered myself together.
I made myself seem presentable and then hid away until the man, who had now claimed himself shopkeeper, was distracted enough and i could slip away.
I knew he wouldn't look for me because he didn't have a reason to care, I wasn't his child after all so why should me disappearing have any effect on him. And from what it seems like, he didn't.
So then i lived the next few years on the streets, surviving by whatever means were necessitated by the situations I faced, whether it be lying, cheating, stealing, or anything else people looked down upon didn't matter to me, the only think on my mind was surviving.
Once i turned nineteen i grew tired of living that life so i went back to the shop and managed to convince the shopkeeper to give me a job there.
So for the next five years i worked and worked, saving up all the money i had until i heard the greatest news in a long time, the war had ended.
I quit the job then and took all the money i had made and bought a house in the city and waited. I waited on father finally finishing making his money so he wouldn't have to leave again, even though i knew he had died. I waited on mother returning with father successful in find him, even if i knew she never did. I waited on brother returning saying he'd slain more than his fill and that he was wrong about mother and father, but he wasn't ever coming back.
I knew in my heart and mind what i wanted, but i also knew they weren't going to come true.
Then two years seemed to pass by and i don't have a job and the only place i have is that home i bought, even if i don't ever actually go there anymore. "And now i guess that leads me to right now, just talking to you since you wanted to know my story." *He looked up at me and spoke easily, as if afraid of the reaction he might get* "What about their names? You never mentioned a name once in your story." "I've always been told that the first think you forget about a person is their voice. I find that not to be true, i can remember their voices perfectly well. However, the first think i forgot is what they looked like...i can't picture anything think about them anymore, not any of them. Without a picture of what they looked like anymore, i just...let go of their names. They just seemed to fade away with everything else about them." *The man simply looked at me and nodded once* "I'm sorry about everything you've lost ma'am." *i simply nodded and got up and left as I felt a tear begin to roll down my check*

I almost start off after the child before i pause, it would be both un ladylike to chase after the child in such a manner and because i knew what it was like to have to do something like that. Stealing for a living was a dreadful thing to have to do, but to surviv, you do what you must.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. I look at the wolf for a moment, almost unsure of whether or not to free it. It's going to be weak even if i can free it and personally i know that i'm far to weak to open a bear trap on my own.
Reluctantly, I know i have to leave it as it is, and unfortunately i can't bring myself to kill it, even if it would end it's suffering.
I looked over at the pups next, i know it's not a bad idea seeing as i probably don't know where my next meal might come from, but i take one with me anyways as i start on my way back to the city, careful not to hurt it as i hide it in my bag to keep anybody from seeing it and getting worried at why i have the pup in the first place.
Making an application and had a question. do you allow further mixes of Elf other than half? Seeing that Half Elves were shunned it seems to me that half elves could have fled to the last settlement and sired children in the lifespan of the city resulting in 3/4 elf or human children. Can i do a character like that and if so just how would such a mixed blood child look and what would be their lifespan?
Also i see you have elemental magic and a god of purity. is there a branch of this magic for Healing?

-Define Power-gaming in your own words: Power-gaming is making your character a god. Dodging attacks he/she shouldn't, not rping injuries, making attacks hit. General stuff like that.
-Define Meta-gaming in your own words: Meta-gaming is when your character knows something IC, that you only know out of character. Or how to get in certain buildings, codes to locks, etc.

-Character name: Lucian Miles
-Character race: Human
-Character age: 23
-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!): Miner, he enjoys the peace.
-Character description(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.): Lucian looks quite a bit like his older brother, although he prefers shorter-length hair. he is only 5'8''. He has light hair like his brother, and a more petite posture. He's not nearly as bulky as his brother, he's more thin and small. He's faster, quieter, and generally more stealthy in every way.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.): Lucian has a kind personality. He's generally a polite person, but also can get pushed over the edge of anger easily. He hates being shorter and smaller than his younger brother, in fact, it makes him quite sour. He tends to be slightly kleptomaniac, taking things that aren't his, most of the time, he doesn't even realize he's doing it. When asked about it, he'll realizes what happened and give it back.
Lucian also has varied mental problems. When born he had schizophrenia and tended to be afraid of things, slightly paranoid. These problems were pushed down around his parents, so they tended to babysit him, especially his mother. It surfaced when he was in his teens, his imaginary friends weren't going away, nor were they imaginary. They were voices he heard and talked to. So, his mother tried to work him through it, but it progressed, It got more severe through his life until the voices in his head surfaced, giving him a sort of Multiple Personality Disorder, it was his mind's way of coping with all that was going on. That's his biggest secret.
After the goblin encounter, he is also afraid of goblins, always looking over his shoulder for the next attack.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences): Lucian was part of a blacksmith family. He had two siblings, a younger brother and an even younger sister. Being that he had problems, his parents typically kept him inside and training, or learning, or even in books, rather than out and socializing. Thus, many rumors existed about him and if he actually existed. To deal with the isolation, he allowed one of his imaginary friends, Nemo, to take over his body sometimes. Nemo was more wicked, and would leave and sneak out. He was agile, sneaky, quiet, and small. He was practically a perfect thief! Nemo, however, didn’t interact too much, and when he did interact, he was rude and slightly vile.
Lucian hated Nemo, having learned what Nemo did after returning into his own personality. He suppressed Nemo as much as possible, making Nemo become a rarer occurrence. Nemo usually only appears if Lucian feels extremely depressed, increasingly lonely, angry, or if given control. However, Nemo does leak out every once in a while, making Lucian have large urges to steal, and be slightly kleptomaniac, especially around precious stones.
His family, upon seeing his lust for the shiny minerals, allowed a small apprenticeship with a local miner, to see what it was like. Lucas loved it, the stones glimmering beneath rocks, the peace, the only sound he heard was the clinking of pick on stone and the conversations of him and his friends. No one judged him there, it was just him and the objects he loved the most. He was in heaven while mining.
However, he really hated his home-life. Being mentally sick, he was stuck at home a lot. Going out as either Nemo or when he was mining. Cain, which he hated this, would act as a father, or older babysitter. He used to be quite jealous, Cain was normal, had a good life, was trained, and he was not. It was hard for him to focus on training when they tried, the voices interfered, but he wanted so desperately to be like Cain, as a consequence of his jealousy and anger, he embraced his imaginary friends, and they became more and more real to him.
Lucian was not very aware when the goblins attacked, he left as Nemo to help, but all that he managed to do was get hurt by a goblin, run, and see his mother’s death and burial. This created such a deep pit in his heart that he fully embraced his diseases. For a while, he was impossible to deal with, but now, he has followed Cain and has ceased suppressing his mental problems. He seems rather normal, but no one knows that to him, his imaginary friends are real. That he masquerades as a thief, and that he looks for Goblins over his shoulders nearly constantly, jumping at every sound, and flick of movement. His mind is so chaotic, it seems nearly normal.
Lucian’s paranoia set him up perfectly for this robbing, as he felt his coin purse being lifted, he instantly acted, he swung around, but the kid was already off. “Do we go after him?” He asked to seemingly no-one. “Yes, I agree,” He stated to himself. He took off sprinting after the the small child, whispering quietly to himself. “No...I won’t give you control.” He kept running, he was quite fast, but not too strong, he managed to grab the kid and shove him in an alley-way. He felt the urge to let Nemo free, but simply smiled at the kid. “Just ask next time.” He stated, and walked off. Fighting the harsh urge of Nemo, the harsh urge that wanted to beat the child, teach him a lesson. Nemo vowed to get his revenge later.
“Oh, no!” He kneeled down out of the Wolf’s reach and looked at it. “This isn’t good.” He was silent for a few moments. “Yes, I know they’re valuable, but...Look at them, they need help.” He nodded. “They are a big problem, too. They kill many animals, but they’re only puppies.” He looked into the stillness of the forest. “You’re right, I can’t take care of them...Are you sure?” He took a deep breath and went off, he came back with a large and thick stick, and proceeded to beat all of them to death, before finding a place to bury them. If he didn’t find a suitable place, he decided. “I’ll just toss them in a river or down a hole.”
(Sorry about the edit, accidentally sent this in when it was only half done.)
A well written application with an interesting biography. We would appreciate if you don't use your character's quirks to act out of RP or go around doing as you please simply because Nemo comes out when you see something you want OOCly. If roleplayed correctly, this character could be an interesting addition to the Realm of Saphriel. I'll send you a Skype request to add you to the server group and we look forward to seeing you on the server!

I've played DnD with friends since middle-school, and I've also played on the minecraft RP server "Lord of the Craft".
-Define Power-gaming in your own words:
Abusing OOC information or in-game mechanics to gain an advantage over other players. Power-gaming will also ruin the RP experience of other players even if it isn't being directly used against them (I.E. constantly cheating death).
-Define Meta-gaming in your own words:
Meta-gaming is using information that you know, but your character doesn't know to avoid danger, death, or other harmful events. I.E. if I knew that there was a trap set down one road, and I purposefully sent my character down another to avoid the confrontation.

-Character name:
Tortek Ironheart
-Character race:
Dwarf
-Character age:
100
-Character Occupation:
Miner
-Character description:
Tortek is tall for a dwarf with a height of 5'. He is quite muscular after spending years in the mines, which have also given him scars across his arms and face from debris. Tortek has a crude face and a dark brown beard that reaches down to his stomach and brown eyes. His beard is surprisingly well kept like the rest of his hair with braids held together with iron bands. His armor is polished and brandishes his family insignia: a heart of iron with a golden trim and red blood seeping from cracks in the ironshell. He's rarely seen without a pick and almost always has a smile on his face that can be considered deranged when he continues to smile while cutting into an orc or enemy.
-Character personality and traits:
Tortek appears to be a cheery and happy dwarf, but in reality he's short-tempered and somewhat deranged. He will often shout out random historical facts about his ancestors, city, or other nonsense. However, when Tortek isn't having an episode he is quite civilized but lacks a large vocabulary and will often speak in short and simple sentences or make grunts and other noises to express himself. He finds pride in his work and gets upset at people for being lazy. It's also hard to tell if Tortek is ever sober because he will always have some kind of drink with him at all times of the day and considers it impossible to work without having at least three drinks beforehand. However, Tortek is still quite bright and enjoys making acquaintances with everyone he meets, but he only trusts close friends and will not have more than a few.
-Character biography:
Tortek was born into Clan Ironheart, which was one of the largest and proudest Clans in Thonduhm. Clan Ironheart controlled the largest amount of mines and had many Master Blacksmiths to it's name. Tortek was raised as a noble but when he began to grow his beard he was given a job in the family business and became a foreman of many of his family's mines. Tortek had 15 other siblings and became incredibly independent and focused on bringing honor to his family through hard work. Tortek worked in the mines among his workers increasing their moral and his own reputation.
Once the war between the Alliance and the Pact began, Clan Ironheart directed all ores, weapons, and armor to the war. Tortek and his miners always went above and beyond their quotas and worked hard to keep Thonduhm safe. However, even after all the efforts of the dwarves and the Alliance it was all for not and the fall of Thonduhm became inevitable. Clan Ironheart used what money they had left after losing most of it to fund the war effort to build ships further in the west. Tortek assisted in a great exodus out of a secret passage in the back of Thonduhm to the ships, but many didn't make it to the ships due to goblin infestation along the road to the coast. When the remaining dwarf refugees from Thonduhm and Clan Ironheart reached the coast there were 1,000 left of the 15,000 that had fled in the beginning. Defeated and scared the refugees barely had the will to keep going, but Tortek never gave up and kept shouting them on until they finally reached the ships and fled goblin pursuit onto the open sea.
Disaster struck almost immediately. Dwarves were not meant for sailing from their lives under the ground and their height, but it was a storm that brought an end to this exodus. 15 ships had left the docks and within 3 days the fleet of refugees sailed into a storm. What little the dwarves did know about sailing were from books and in a panic they began to throw supplies they had brought overboard to decrease the weight of a ship in the hopes of sailing faster and out of the storm. Tortek knew that it was hopeless once they entered the storm but nevertheless helped his kin as much he could. BOOM. SNAP. Lightning strikes the mast of Tortek's ship sending it into the sea. Waves continue to crash against the ship and Tortek quickly loses sight of the other ships. Soaked and doomed the refugees begin to pray for mercy, but before Tortek can react to the situation a colossal wave hits the ship's broadside turning it over and sending Tortek into the ocean.
Tortek doesn't know how he woke up on a beach still clinging onto life, but he does curse whichever God was cruel enough to keep him alive. Tortek first believed that he may have drifted back to the mainland but quickly realizes that he's trapped on an Island covered with a forest. He spends the next 10 or so years alone on this island slowly losing his mind from loneliness and the grief of losing those that he loved. Tortek is fortunate enough that the island is undiscovered and has a population of pigs and fish that keep him alive. He does little in those 10 years other then survive and develop a habit of shouting out historical information to anyone who will listen... except no one is listening. Tortek never gave up hope, but he also never knew what he hoped for so he was lost in an endless cycle. Until today, Tortek was minding his own business and fishing while recounting the miner's union agreement "Article 36, line 7" when a group of travelers appear further down the beach...
-Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios.
You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
Tortek chases the child shouting out Thonduhm's law on purse snatching and the punishments associated with the heinous crime...
"AY, what's this?"
Tortek bends over and peers at a pebble in the road he quickly loses interest and then looks back up. He stands still for a moment trying to remember what was going on and after failing to do so he decides to go drink and mine where he can find some peace and quiet.
Tortek loves all animals after they helped him survive for years on a deserted island, so he pries the trap open ignoring the injuries he receives and binds the mother wolf. He sustains some more injuries from the mother wolf while he binds her wound but ignores them muttering about his scandalous aunt. Once Tortek finishes and the mother wolf has seen Tortek is not a threat he leaves the wolves to wander back into the wild, and he heads back to his hut.

_______________________________________________________________________
Unless I somehow don't even get Pending, and get Denied, oh man. . . The horror. . .

A half-elf born to a dark elf and a human, she has traits to show that she is indeed a half. The blood red eyes of a dark elf and the brown hair of a human. She wears a set of dirty brown tunic and jeans which are second-handed clothing from the church.

-You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you
haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best.

You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.[/b]

-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
*I took a drink of my ale, the man across from me looked at me expectantly and i sighed.*
"Fine, you want to know about me then i guess i mightas well just start with my childhood."
*I took one more drink and began recounting my life up until that moment*
"And now i guess that leads me to right now, just talking to you since you wanted to know my story."
*He looked up at me and spoke easily, as if afraid of the reaction he might get*
"What about their names? You never mentioned a name once in your story."
"I've always been told that the first think you forget about a person is their voice. I find that not to be true, i can remember their voices perfectly well. However, the first think i forgot is what they looked like...i can't picture anything think about them anymore, not any of them. Without a picture of what they looked like anymore, i just...let go of their names. They just seemed to fade away with everything else about them."
*The man simply looked at me and nodded once* "I'm sorry about everything you've lost ma'am."
*i simply nodded and got up and left as I felt a tear begin to roll down my check*
Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios.
Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother.

There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they
prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle
lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they
take off sprinting.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation
you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught
in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously
puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die,
but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby
farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
