Character Name: Michael Bronson
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Race: Caucasian
Appearance (Physique): Michael is about 6'3" and around 160 pounds.
He is tan, with brown hair and brown eyes. His face and clothes are covered with sweat and grease from tinkering with machines. He has a weak physical build, which often makes people underestimate him.
Appearance (Clothing): He has a green coat which covers up a grey
T-shirt. He wears grey cargo pants which he hold his caps and ammo in.
He has black military-style combat boots, and he dislikes wearing
anything besides them.
Strengths: Good with mechanical things, flexible, very smart, decent shot with a gun.
Weaknesses: Michael has a weak physical build, making him not very effective in close quarters combat using melee weapons or his fists. Also, he tends to be impulsive when speaking to others, sometimes saying things he shouldn't necessarily say in front of people, but can restrain himself if the stakes are as high as death in the conversation.
Fears: Michael is afraid of a painful death, because he has never felt substantial pain before and knows that in the wasteland a painful death usually means being torn apart or being eaten alive.

Character Biography:
Michael was born in a modest town on the western end of the commonwealth, near what was
once the eastern border of the state of New York. This area was far enough from the locations of where the
bombs first hit that it wasn't bombarded with radiation, but still experienced radiation storms that drifted west from Boston.
His father is a mechanic and his mother is a nurse. They lived comfortably (for wastelanders), but there were still the dangers of raiders and radioactive beasts attacking the town.
Michael had a decent education, and went to school until the age of 18. He was very smart, and since finding a battered and broken Mr. Handy on the side of a street in town at an early age, he began to develop an interest in the machines of the wasteland. He started working with his father in the family salvage and repair business when he was 12, which had been prosperous throughout Michael's life. Even though he was privileged, his father and mother continuously warned him that outside of town it was dangerous, with mutated beasts, raiders, and malfunctioned robots roaming the wasteland. His father began to teach him how to use a gun when he was 16, since he wasn't strong and needed to learn how to defend himself.
Michael felt an urge to adventure the wasteland, and felt that the life his was living now was too boring for him, and going to work fixing machines all day felt too routine. His mother told him it was unwise to leave the town, but he still felt an urge to leave. Finally, that urge became too great. When he was 22, he heard from a passing caravan of traders about a flourishing new city in Niagara Falls, and how there were many secrets there waiting to be discovered. He wished his parents goodbye, sold most of his possessions, and threw a bunch of gadgets, food, water, and a 10mm pistol into a rucksack and took the next caravan to Niagara Falls, ready to begin a new life.
Roleplay Scenario: 5:16 PM, 15 miles west of Niagara.
The caravan Michael was travelling with stopped at a town for a nights rest. He walks through a smaller street towards a restaurant, the glass and gravel crackling beneath his boots. He begins to regret the decision to head down that street as he sees various boarded up doors and windows and concludes that he is in a sketchy neighborhood. He begins to feel like he's being watched and puts his hand to his gun. Just as his hand touches the cool metal of the pistol the hard and round barrel of a gun pushes into his back.
"Take your hand of the gun, and give me all your caps." a ghouls voice says. "Alright!" Michael says, and fishes through his pockets, pulling out a handful of caps, but drops some on the ground. "Time is money, shithead!" the ghoul yells. "Sorry!" Michael replys nervously, and picks the caps up and turns around to give them to the ghoul, a dark figure with a mask covering his face. The ghoul laughs, an unnerving gravelly sound. "Thanks smoothskin." he says, and disappears through an alley.
"Asshole didn't think I'd have a backup in a back pocket of my jacket, did he? Thankfully they didn't jingle and give me away." Michael thinks to himself, and turns around, with a smirk on his face, heading back up the road to the main street, not wanting to get mugged again and searching for a place in a decent part of town where he could rest.
Thanks Cakeski. Staff it's been over a week... I really want to head right into the server and play with the large amount of people who've already whitelisted! What's going on? I still haven't been expected and I truly hope that there isn't another hiatus. This sounds like the greatest fallout server I've seen so far and it would be a shame if a server like this died out!
But as Cakeski already mentioned, and I apologize that there's been a sort of lack of communication here - the server *is* discontinuing. It's been a long time in development, but it just wasn't really going anywhere, and at that point, it was sort of beating a dead horse. Fallout: Shadows of the Old World is officially dead.
May I ask why Development stopped or what caused it to "go know where?"
Also If this projects dead im willing to pick up the entire staff team and mods and work here.
I hate seeing good fallout servers die, to be honest.
I don't think your map is Dc, boneyard, New Reno, Boston because I already have the whole Fallout Series game maps recreated in mc
(FO4 Not finished, and FO 2 half finished)
I know the feeling of feeling like your making no ground on a project.
But I'm sure you guys were making progress and whatever was holding you guys back I have a few friends whom could perhaps help the case.
Regardless I'd like to talk to a lot of the staff or owners of the project if they have time any of them who see this.
And to make sure people done think this is some random troll.
I have my own fallout project that's taken 3 Years to make and it's still not done but my team pushes on.

It's been awhile since there's actually been any real interest in the server, whether by the people staffing it, or those playing on it. Development's been permanently discontinued for a number of reasons. Although a lack of any sort of building was a factor, the primary one was a lack of interest from both the staff team and the player-base. Other IRP issues were present as well, such as the lack of conflict.
Thanks for a detailed reply on what was happening.
This shed a lot of light on stuff.
I know i lose interest in RP in general sometimes, but always return eventually tho this is sad to see this server die, as any server dying is sad.
But thanks for the details.
Alright, here is my edited application!

Question: Why have there been few people on the server lately? Also I cannot enter the server as I'm not whitelisted?
So will the staff and players most likely come back when the exam season ends? I thought the hiatus was over.
