Looks interesting! Sadly I'm not really good at pvp... I'm wondering, do guys have anything planned for non-pvpers? Such as production skills or roles for those who just want to craft items/equips and merch them off or support the pvpers? Or anything similar?

yes and no, during the day pvp is disabled for the top sector of midgar, however at night it is enabled so its suggested that you go home for the night, while under midgar pvp will always be enabled however you can find alot of good stuff down there
there are many production roles no one is safe at night, you could be raided at any point by any other player, however you can make keys and locks other players will have to pick given you more then enough time to go after them or cut your loss's and move on
we may make a non pvp world down the road but it wouldn't be as interesting imo, but my aim is to make it fast and easy to gain stuff so even if you die your not spending 2 hours getting everything back
yes you will, my goal is it set a new standard for minecraft servers >=D
Yea and I will probably be able to use the Masemune because no minecraft mod I know of is an up to date Final Fantasy VII mod, and looking at what you said on the post about a couple of the mods being custom and not public, makes me want to play on this server even more because I am a VERY big Sephiroth fan
P.S I can't stop looking at those Masemune pictures.......It's just so awesome in your FFTA mod
haha thanks its been a long work in progress, wakky has been working hard on the code
we finished our templates today, everything came out looking really nice, we did a re-work on like 3 buildings and they came out 10x better
tmw were going to move all the new buildings over just to sector 1 while we mess with wiring it all up and what not
im also introducing a new building, the hackers building will allow you to control things within the sector, like enabling the reactors player logger, so you wont know who creeped into the reactor, plenty of other things were going to add to make more chaos im just not ready to spoil all the good stuff =p
we MIGHT throw an open alpha for xmas =]
hello everyone, its almost been 1 year sense this project started ^.^
its been a long year to say the least and alot has happened
we ended up getting some of the old AEGIS staff to join our project
il spare you all the details but to say the least were still hard at work
and hopefully we can show you some of the work we have done at another time
i hope everyone following us is as excited as we are about this project
cant wait to give you guys an update with some new screen shots =]

I've been here since close to the beginning of the project and I can't wait for it to come out
I've been waiting for a long while and I still hope for this to be amazing
*wipes dust off door* its been a while since i came in here but i have a nice update that might make you pee a little, we were waiting for hackslashmine to update to 1.7.10 while we worked on the map and our custom mods. however as certain unavoidable things have happened we have decided to walk down another road. i wont say much but ill just leave this here and get everyone excited.keep posted for more frequent updates on this from now on

Curse Premiumfinished 5 more classes and then got working on a different idea that Givemhell proposed so i started working on that and 4 hours later it was born. ill be doing daily updates on progress around 12am-4am UTC +930 time or around 9-11pm if im working the next morning

Curse PremiumWe decided that with our classes and races that there is only going to be a few starting classes for each race and the rest you gain in the world, keeping it a secret how atm
spent the last week merging my other FF mod with this one and finally got it finished,i did this to incorporate the stats on the 4000 or so different armor items we have. also added in different elemental damage stats that give damage boosts. next thing ill be coding is weaknesses to said elemental types ie fire weak against water. first two pics are drafts of the Class screens.
I gave up on this project a few years ago
I spent three years working on this with a few other close friends but eventually I was the only one working on the project I put it on hold for a little while and did some computer upgrades and while I was changing out one of my ssds I used a part that I got off Amazon for dirt cheap
Well that was a big mistake to even think about plugging it in because the moment I did and fired on the computer I smelled a burning plastic kind of smell and the computer couldn't find a hard drive to boot from after attempting to boot it three times and eventually seeing smoke I realized something was seriously wrong
the hard drive ended up frying I lost all of the data on it including this entire project
However I got the urge to see what all exactly I had saved in Dropbox Google drive and a few other locations that I had stored data over the years
I ended up coming across a few builds of this mod pack
I am missing a significant amount of data including every single config for the server
After much fighting with myself spending the last week filling in the gaps of information I had forgotten and an extensive amount of building I'm happy to say I'm reviving The project
When I was working on this project I found a lot of modding compatibilities I had reached out to many owners of each individual mod and tried to link them up and get fixes done some mod authors were completely willing and jumped on the opportunity other said it's not my problem the other coders can figure it out
I've done an extensive amount of testing and it seems like a lot of the problems I was having then do not exist now
The only real big problem I've run into is that I'm stuck on 1710 this is due to forge microblocks not being updated between 1710 and 112 there is nothing I can do about this unfortunately I try to load the map into 112 even with all of the mods updated the forge microblocks go completely missing.
I had alerted killer x-20 the original map developer and we both were trying to find a way around this he told me he would give me an update last year around December but never got back to me I know he's a busy guy and he doesn't really play Minecraft anymore
There's two reasons I'm posting an update
First reason is because I haven't made an update on the server in years and I believe that everybody who subscribed to this thread deserved at least this
The other problem is I'm pretty much a one-man team the other people that are helping me or that we're helping me have stuff going on in their life and they can't give me the time that they did them
I'm looking for experienced developers and admins if this is something that you may be interested in I'm going to ask you to reach out to me on discord
Don't bother clicking any of the old links to apply for staff or anything because they don't work they need to be updated
I look forward to anybody showing any interest in this project still it is a massive project and needs a lot of work and if I'm doing this again solo it might take me by the end of the year to finish and open it to the public I've already purchased a server and it seems to be handling everything well the modpack auto updates anytime I make a change and the server is always online
If anybody has any interest feel free to reach out however I will only be taking the best of the best and people who exclusively use discord & have a mic
