Edit: This server hasn't existed since 2014. I don't know why I never bothered to edit in that I gave up on it.

I decided to start up a server, just for fun on my old "Workstation" PC. I'm going to be calling it "The Laggy Creative server", because that's pretty much what it is lol.
Anyways, in this server, I decided to do it my way; based on my opinions of what a server should be. I'll simply quote my profile page:
"I am a creative player, and I love to build things in excess, meaning "overly large" for no reason at all. I can't stand servers that like to limit players from using every aspect of MineCraft. No blocks should ever be "banned" from usage.
At the same time, I also like Survival... to an extent. I only play "Pure Vanilla" survival. That means if it is a server, then it has to be the official Mojang "server.jar", or I will not play it. Creeper explosions, and TnT need to be enabled. I can't stand the children who disable that stuff, out of fear of Griefers. Just ban the imbeciles who grief, and move on.
And again, I'm going to contradict myself. I do enjoy "Bukkit" and "Spigot" servers, but only if they are not a Factions, Minigames, or Prison server. Those horrible versions of MineCraft servers should not exist. They make the MineCraft community look terrible, and they are the ones that all the idiotic 11 year old griefers, and hackers flock to.
If I play a Non-mojang server, then I expect it to have McMmo, Auctions, Towny, Jobs, Disguise, and MultiVerse. With McMmo, every feature must be enabled, and working as the creator intended. The server must have a "Freebuild" creative world, with absolutely no Plots, and no limitations of any kind. In the creative world, all players must be allowed to use "/gamemode" to switch freely between Survival and Creative at will.
I prefer creative mode in MineCraft, but I absolutely hate plots, and World Borders. If the world isn't "Infinite", then I refuse to play the server. If the server has plots, then the same thing applies. I wouldn't touch the bloody thing with a five-metre pole.
All that I have said above about servers, are my opinions on what a real MineCraft server should be like. They are blunt, and to the point without any sugary coating. I'm sorry if I offended someone by sharing my opinion."
Now with that out of the way, I'll get down to describing the server in a little more detail. Obviously this is a Creative, and Survival server, with MultiVerse. It is 1.8, with all of the 1.8 features working. I do plan to add Towny, Jobs, Auctions, and Disguise as soon as they are updated accordingly. Current plugins are:
- Essentials (obviously)
- mcMMO (Every feature is enabled. No limits on TreeFeller.)
- MultiVerse
- ÜberEnchant (Because I love crazy Enchants.)
- WorldEdit. (Just in case.)
The rules are simple, and to the point:
The Do Not's:
- Do not Grief.
- Do not steal.
- Do not "troll".
- Do not use "excessive" profanity. (Like having the f-word in every sentence.)
The Do's:
- Have fun.
- Mind the Lagg.
- Respect everyone.
- Use common sense.
- Build to your Heart's Desire.
- Survive to your Heart's Desire.
- Ask for help if you need it.
I will absolutely not allow PvP, or MiniGames on this server. It is a PvE, and Creative environment. I will not be OPing anyone, so do not ask. I will not be hiring any staff. I will never be accepting any donations either. There are currently no "Ranks", or anything. Just play, as if you would Single Player. In time, everything will be set up properly.
The "Tickspeed" is set to 200, so events such as Block-decay (Leaves), Block-Spread (Grass, Mycelium, Ect.), and Growth (Trees, Sugarcane, Potatoes, Etc.) function at almost an "instant" speed. There are two Worlds currently. The "Main" world that you'll spawn in as a new player, and an old world that I've been working on since 1.2.5 MineCraft. You are free to go between the worlds at will, playing in both Survival, and Creative, in either world.
My "old" Workstation specifications are as follows:
It is quite old, as you can see... but it works. I used to use it for Gaming, and it was amazing. I am currently using my new computer. Funnily enough, Speccy doesn't display the CPU clock-speed, or Cores in the Summary, so I had to post more than one Screenshot. I also thought it would be best to show the full details about the Ram as well, since it's extremely slow too.
But yeah, um.. I'll be trying my best to keep the server online, 24/7. I do have spotty internet, so it may go down sometimes. This server is for those of you are mature enough, to know how to have fun, and play a game, even amongst a bit of lagg. I hope to see some of you online.
The server IP is one of these:
--snip--
--snip--
I'm not entirely sure which one you would connect to, so try both. I am a little inexperienced with hosting a server, but I have Co-Owned, and Administered servers in the past. However; hosting entirely on my own is a bit of a new thing for me. So we'll see how this goes.
Edit: This server hasn't existed since 2014. I don't know why I never bothered to edit in that I gave up on it.
