How did you find us?: Minecraft Formus
Why do you want to join?: I would like to try a new Roleplay server since the last one I was on it closed down. It seems like an interesting server and a place were it would be nice to spend time on.
What role-play experience do you have (if any?): I’ve been on Ringcraft 2nd Age and Colterra Clash of Kingdoms.
Define Meta-gaming (keep in mind there are two types, OOC and IC):
Meta Gaming OOC is the fact of using information you are learning in the moment without involving any kind of RP
Example: A friend tells you where to find a secret chest with goods Out of Character and you look for it inside your character without saying it in Roleplay
Meta Gaming IC Its letting your character know things he isn’t supposed to be able to; such as knowledge, he wouldn’t be able to know something if he didn’t learn it form someone else or knowing everything from anyone which is kind of impossible.
Define Power-gaming (there are technically 2 definitions, the other is also referred to as Power-emoting):
Power Gaming is not letting someone react to your actions or forcing them into them. Also it’s power Gaming if an action isn’t possible in real life since it’s supposed to be in Roleplay
Ex: You want to kill someone but you just type *He kills the player* Without having the other person a reaction time.
Define Role-playing: Roleplaying is the creation of a world/universe where there has nothing to do with the real world (OOC). Where people are able to be someone else by just creating a story of a character, you basically are able to do anything you want but without breaking the rules of the RP World or its lore.
Define God-modding: God Modding is the use of abilities or actions that someone wouldn’t be able to do in real life.
Example: Me: *Unarmed facing three guards with swords* “I can beat you all with just my feasts”
Guards: *All three Charges towards him swinging their blades towards me at the same time*
Me: *Dodges them all and punches all three making them to be unconscious in the name of the Merciful Qin*
That is God Modding since it’s something a normal person wouldn’t be able to do.
IC:
Name:Ringanwe Sur
Age: 26 (Race Age)
Gender: Male
Race : Sastrama
Character description: Ringanwe is about 6 foot tall, he has light blue eyes, red hair, tan skin, pointy large ears, he is skinny and doesn’t really seem like a threat to others. (Phisically). Usually uses a hood (So he wouldn’t attract that much of attention), black boots and has a bag with goods with him almost all the time(Which may be only RP) has a sheath which bought once on his trips but he hasn't found a sword to wield since he isn't sure about having one.
.
Character personality: Ringanwe, he travels around the continent looking to acquire knowledge from villages he visits “Everyone has something to teach as you may have something for others”, he doesn’t stay on a place for more than a year and sometimes likes to travel with someone else, he always tries to win at trades since he is a vendor. He hates no one and tries to bring stability to the places he goes, avoiding conflicts is always the best way. He may be someone who doesn’t share his life easily with others unless they are his friends; he is usually quiet unless something really interests him or someone directly speaks to him.
Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?:
-Bar Keeper: *Directly points at Ringanwe* “Hey you, you already need to pay for that drink!” Ringanwe: “Seems to be a little confused on the accusation of the keeper* “I’ve already pay for it, a man without debts is someone who is not afraid of someone else affairs” Bar Keeper: *Angrily says* “I don’t care if you don’t have any debts! You own me the money from that drink!” Ringanwe: *Takes money out of his bag* “Take this as a tip and try to be gentle to your costumers, you know, people may start visit the Inn at the other street” *Puts a little bag of coins in the table, stands up and walks away to the other Inn*
Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?:
Ringanwe: *Is resting besides a tree, yanws* Woman: *Yells* “Help Me! Ahhhh” Ringanwe: *Hears the woman screaming in the next street, stands up and goes to look what’s happening* Thief: *Holding the Woman as if he was hugging her looking for goods* “Where is it?! Where is it?” Woman: *Yells* “I Have nothing with me!” Thief: “Yes you do, give it to me!” Ringanwe: *Gets closer to the event and stares at the Thief* “You know, If you leave now no one will ever know this happened…” Thief: *Notices Ringanwe* “I won’t leave until I get what I came for!, the Necklace! I would kill her before getting away with anything!” Ringanwe: *Looks at the Woman* “Just give him the Necklace” Woman: *She fights so the Thief would let her go* *Loudly says* “In my breasts! But I won’t let you take it out!” Ringanwe: “Interesting place to keep something”
*The woman gives up the necklace and the Thief rans off* Woman: “Now, how am I getting back what I lost” Ringanwe: “Life is something worthier than a necklace” *Starts Walking Away* Woman: “Where are you going?” Ringanwe: “Follow me, we may find something as valuable as that necklace you lost”
*They disappear on the dusk*
Character biography: (Please consider the lore we have written and include it somehow. DO NOT WRITE HISTORY OTHER THAN YOUR OWN. Unless given specific permission by an admin, your character has not had a large impact in continental history. Please give more than 2 paragraphs, and put some effort into your background.)
Ringanwe Sur, borned and raised by his parents in the North Deserts of Serin who owned a little store. He never liked the weather or the way his parents didn’t want to go anywhere else just because of their affection to their store; he always felt Delkmara had something to show him in other lands away from his homeland (Not directly to him but as a hunch). With the excuse of getting a bigger profit form sales in other places than the store, his parents allowed him to wander close to what they used to call the limit. Which was the place his family couldn’t go further.
One day Ringanwe was selling his goods just as any other, a man with a strange coat was just standing there staring at him, he noticed at some point. After attending the costumers he went to his call, the stranger instantly told him: “Why are you here? This isn’t the place you’re supposed to be… The world has things… interesting… things, knowledge, things to understand, everyone has a path or… I mean… Delkmara has one for everyone” Ringanwe didn’t know what to think about it and the man just left without saying another word.
After getting back home, he asked his parents if it could have any meaning or if it was just coincidence. His parents couldn’t understand why it had that much of an impact on his mind. The theme wasn’t touched by anyone else but until the present (About five year later), where Ringanwe, after learning a profession almost at his parents level (Vendor) decided to leave his homelands looking for the path Delkmara had for him, what is he going to learn? Who knows but the only god. Ringanwe is now just a wanderer who trades for a living
I think I have corrected the things you told me to, I have a question, I know my character is a vendor and goes around many parts but I would still be able to keep important goods somewhere right? Thanks:)
Looks good, accepted, and will be whitelisted tomorrow at noon PST!
As for your question - we're selling a couple of stalls in Weyrest to sell and store your goods at. Otherwise, you'll probably have to invest in a chest to put your goods in.
Your app looks perfect! Can't wait to see you on the server, you are accepted! We'll see you Dec. 13 at noon, and Happy holidays! -Liamade (For Mr.Diet Cocaine, my bad I forgot to quote him)
OOC: IGN: andwey (case-sensitive) How did you find us?: Through the Minecraft Forums Why do you want to join?: Feeling the itch for some roleplay, and I like servers that are new and fresh. What role-play experience do you have (if any?): Over 3 years of experience, not only in Minecraft, but other games such as SA-MP and Habbo Hotel
Define Meta-gaming (keep in mind there are two types, OOC and IC):
IC Metagaming - The act of bringing Out of Character knowledge, or better described as knowledge of which your character is not aware of in the existing world, and using it in the roleplay experience. It gives somewhat of an unfair advantage, but it is also illogical. For instance, Person A greets Person B, using Person B's IC name, even though neither A or B ever met beforehand, or exchanged names In Character.
OOC Metagaming - Where a player shares in-character information with others out-of-character through other forms of communication. An example would be Person A sharing the plans of the Cromjin Army with Person B, who's character would not normally come across this information in-character.
Define Power-gaming: The act of roleplaying in a manner that is very biased or unfair on one side, where a player may not give their opponent a chance to respond to their actions (usually in combat). Define Role-playing: The act of a person assuming a role of any character they create, acting out their movements and their life as if it were their own, in a given setting. Roleplaying is open to how ever the person wants to 'act' or 'play' their character. Define God-modding: Performing acts of roleplay that are realistically impossible to perform as a normal being like Merciful Qin, as they are abusing laws of physics or any other set restrictions, or akin to acts of a god.
IC:
Name: Vaurien Qa'Urf
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race: Lylur
Character description: Vaurien stands at 6"1', with a slim yet muscular physique shaded in a tanned brown skin tone. Bright, beige blonde hair falls at a medium length, only reaching past his ears. A single length of braided hair falls over his forehead, simply acting a personal adornment. His eyes are forest green, and thin eyebrows line just above them. Vaurien wears a short cloak only covering his shoulders and part of his back, weaved in the colours of the forests he spent most of his early years in. He carries a shirt which he only wears when the season is far too harsh and cold. Around his neck hangs a simple string necklace, with several teeth of unknown animals resting upon his chest. A dark, oak-brown pair of shorts are held up by a leather belt, covering his legs. This is the only apparel covering his lower half, as he walks barefooted. Several bone knives remain sheathed on the inside of his shorts.
Character personality: Due to his appearance, especially a lack of proper clothing, Vaurien carries an peculiar aura around, yet for the most part, this does not bother him. His years of isolation from any interaction with others leaves him fearful of crowds, and is often found avoiding them at all costs. However, when speaking to people alone or in small groups, he maintains a calm and confident composure. His interest in the other races has lead to an acceptance of most, yet results in Vaurien becoming too trusting with almost anyone he meets. However, Vaurien is most unfriendly to other Lylur, as his banishment from his tribe left him in a misery that he could only blame them for, as a result, Vaurien is blunt and often hostile to members of his race, regardless of their position.
Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?: Vaurien smiles at the barkeep, telling him that he has already paid for his drink. The barkeep grows angrier, clearly having forgotten that Vaurien had paid, and begins to threaten Vaurien. However, Vaurien raises the mug to his lips, finishing it, before getting up and slipping into the crowd of people singing. The barkeep, being a large man, is unable to pursue, and mutters a few coarse phrases under his breath in frustration.
Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?: Vaurien unsheathes his a small bone knife, leaping to neighbouring trees in order to approach the mugger and the woman without being seen. Upon getting closer, Vaurien rushes towards the two, stabbing the bone knife at the mugger's hand holding the knife, letting it sink into his knuckles. The thief howls in pain, dropping the knife, allowing for Vaurien to pull his knife out and raise it against the mugger's throat. Pressing the blade firmly against the skin, Vaurien warns the mugger, allowing him to run off. After accepting the woman's gratitude, Vaurien wanders back to a tree to resume gazing at the skies.
Character biography:
Born within a tribe on the inner outskirts of Sacred Forest, Vaurien was given away to a family of exiles who graciously accepted him. Vaurien lived a fairly normal childhood beyond the Sacred Forest in unknown wilderness, raised as the son of the family that accepted him. He had been taught that not all Lylur came from the Sacred Forest, and this lead to Vaurien's interest in learning about this place.
In his pursuit for knowledge about the Sacred Forest, Vaurien learnt that he had been born in the Sacred Forest, and was cast out. Around this time, Vaurien had only reached adulthood, and became distraught by what he thought was the betrayal of his people. Escaping the comforts of his family he spent most of his time with, Vaurien cut all ties from any living being and lived in the forests of Lylur, managing somehow to live off the plants and animals that resided around him. During his isolation, Vaurien spent time in misery, unable to understand the justice in his tribe to have abandoned him. A hatred for Lylians grew within Vaurien, as they were the only people he could blame.
Vaurien continued to live within the forests, often moving like a nomad as not to deprive any given location of its resources permanently. He developed his skills as a huntsman and gatherer, yet at the same time, lost partial knowledge of speech for lack of anyone to practice it with. Upon reaching the age of 25, Vaurien encountered a group of De'asllo merchants, intrigued by their appearance, having never seen such a race. Meeting these merchants allowed Vaurien the realization that there were others besides the Lylians. This sparked a certain interest in Vaurien, who soon set out to venture in look for cities of other nations. In his travels, he began to meet more and more travelers, which expanded his knowledge of the world around him and the beings that inhabited it.

Define Meta-gaming: To use information collected OOC in a role-play situation as if your character knew it.
Define Power-gaming: To force an action on another character without allowing them to react, or to make yourself unrealistically powerful/have a power or skill you didn't obtain
Define Role-playing: To create a fictional character in and act as they would through whatever means you wish to.
Define God-modding: (Never actually heard of this term before now, but I can have a guess.) To portray your character Merciful Qin as an overpowered/omnipotent being.
Going on to create your character, please familiarize yourself with the lore we have lovingly crafted. IC:
(Just to preface everything below, I haven't made an application in a long time, let alone for a server this serious. If anything is off please inform me.)
Name: Kaedos Nacaster
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race (pick one of the races we have made, no creating your own): Lylur
Character description: Kaedos often wears a green hooded coat, though he keeps the hood down. Over the coat lies a tanned leather sheathe set. His hair is a very dark shade of brown. His skin is tanned from laboring in the sun often
Character personality: Kaedos is often seen as a quiet person. He's almost always observing his surroundings, when not being addressed by someone. Despite his otherwise collected demeanor, when provoked or threatened he flies into a rage. Having been given away at birth, he was not taught of the Lylur's traditions, he also seems to resent the Lylur, finding their traditions pointless and unnecessary. He holds no quarrels with any race in particular other than the Lylur. He commonly shows kindness to any De'asllo in need, and holds a deep respect for them. (Will be explained in Kaedos' history
(Especially unsure of how you wanted these done, apologies if they aren't correct.)
Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?: As he finished downing the drink, Kaedos noticed the barkeep yelling at him. Kaedos approached the barkeep, kindly assuring the man that he has payed for his drink. The barkeep yelled in retort, sure that Kaedos was scamming him. Kaedos sighed and reached down into his pocket, lifting a few coins from it and setting them on the bar, kindly asking for another drink from the man as well. He grabbed the mug and wandered off to the seat he was originally in, downed another drink and left the inn quietly.
Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?: Kaedos sat in the tree for a few moments after noticing, his eyes darting around for any others who might come to this womans aid if not him. After taking in his surroundings for a moment, Kaedos leaped down from the tree reaching up to his empty sheathe, he left his blade atop the tree. Knowing there was no time to run back, he began running at the two, trying to kick at his knee with the momentum he had after getting there. The kick landed and the thief lost balance, though not long enough for Kaedos to have capitalized on it. The thief quickly turned around and swiped at Kaedos with his knife, the woman still standing there in shock. Kaedos grabbed the mans arm as the swipe fell short of him and pushed him down by his shoulder, wresting the knife from the thief and knocking him out quickly after. He then brought the thief to the nearest guard and took the woman back to her home. Handing her the knife he took from the thief and leaving.
(To preface this as well, I tend to make these kind of things generic in some sense despite trying to avoid it. My apologies if this remains true.)
Character biography:
Kaedos was one of the many Lylur children, given away at birth. He was left with a De'asllo traveller, despite his kin, he was the calmest man you'd ever meet. Most of Kaedos' early life was spent living a calm, peaceful life with the De'asllo who had taken him in. From the day he was old enough to hold one, a hoe lied in Kaedos' hands. Every day from then on, the man had him till soil. One day however. The man didn't show up, this worried Kaedos slightly, however he tilled the farmlands as usual.
A faint cry could be heard from the cabin they lived in. Kaedos darted back, hoe still dutifully in hand. As he arrived, he was taken by rage as he saw tribal looking men standing over his adopted fathers corpse pulling blades from him. Kaedos, completely out of breath from running with the hoe in hand, took a weak swing in the general direction of the group as he collapsed.
He woke later that day, lying in a tent, a curious child standing over him. Kaedos turned to the child, still confused. The child quickly ran off, calling a name excitedly as he dashed out of the tent. Soon after, a young man ducked into the tent, introducing himself as Aheren. Kaedos, not sure what to make of the situation, kindly introduced himself to the man. Aheren and the hunters who killed his father mistook Kaedos for trying to aid them. Doing all he could to repress his rage, he played along and requested to join their camp, not seeing anywhere else to go to.
There, alongside the hunters that stole his father from him, he learned basic combat. He was taught how to use a sword thoroughly, as well as the bow. After having learned the basics of combat Kaedos left the camp, still resenting the hunters who took his father.
How did you find us?: Just checking the forums out and saw this near the top
Why do you want to join?: My last medieval experience wasn't the greatest. Wanted to give it another try
What role-play experience do you have (if any?): Lotc, Rok, Unto aether, Falliout WW, Fallout Desolate Roads, and a few other things
Definitions: Please give a full description of each IN YOUR OWN WORDS. You will be expected to abide by these definitions on the server. You giving these definitions is a way of showing us you understand them and agree to follow them in role-play.
Define Meta-gaming (keep in mind there are two types, OOC and IC):
Ooc- Using information or events that happened icly to mess with people oocly or hold a grudge, this is pretty dumb considering the definition of rping which is playing a role
Ex- Billy gets mad at joe because joe's character killed Billy's. So Billy continuously gets mad at him and refers back to it for reference.
Ic- Almost the exact opposite of Ooc metagaming. The use of Ooc knowledge icly, mainly to benefit yourself in that situation. This happens frequently.
Ex: Billy hears that Joe is plotting to kill him from a friend at school ((Oocly)). Billy kills joe before he can follow through with that plan
Define Power-gaming (there are technically 2 definitions, the other is also referred to as Power-emoting):
Power-Gaming-Making yourself almost invulnerable to anything oncoming to benefit you in a situation. Kinda like metagaming.
ex: Joe attacks Billy with his bow from far away. Billy turns and deflects all the arrows with a second to spare.
Power-emoting- Is basically forcing a emote onto a person without letting them have a chance to rebuttal or respond.
Ex: Billy stabs Joe repeatedly, killing him almost instantly.
Define Role-playing: Playing or acting out a role or character with that character's thoughts, emotions, and personality. Your actions should reflect your character.
Define God-modding: Similar to power-gaming in the sense that it is used to make your character invulnerable to most attacks and to survive the situation. Kinda like a Merciful Qin of sorts.
Ex: Look at the power-gaming one above.((Not the power-emoting one
Going on to create your character, please familiarize yourself with the lore we have lovingly crafted. Please remember to keep all lore in mind while writing your character’s history, and make sure to agree to the definitions above (no power-gaming in your bio!) Also, try to avoid clichés. Name: Aldric Avonte
Age:Average Around 24 (Race Age)
Gender:Male
Race (pick one of the races we have made, no creating your own):Lylur Exile
Character description: (describe and analyze. Please make sure this follows the lore stated for your race. Clothing they would wear on a daily basis can be included too.)
Average Height. Quite frail looking although he looks slightly toughened up by the exile life. Darker brown hair cropped up slightly into a small mohawk of sorts. His clothing that he regularly wears seems makeshift, sewn together by patches of old discarded clothing and items.
Character personality: (Just talk about the character as a person for a second. What are their aspirations in life? Why do they have these? These can reference your bio. Also talk about your character and their feelings towards things, such as possible racism towards other races, hate (or love) for organizations, et cetera.)
Although he seems outgoing at first you soon come to realize his lack of social skills and interacting with people. He often mutters aloud to himself, sometimes even having arguments with himself as he tries to think. He refers to his views by names and acts as though they are split personalities almost, the most predominant one of the personalities being his survival-instinct D'wa as he calls it
Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?:
Me: "Wha-"
Barkeep- "'Yeh 'fookin heard me pay up."
Me- "But 'err..Uhh..I th-." *Turns slightly beginning to mumble to himself*
Me- "Just give him the money." *Another voice chimes in* "'But 'ceh already 'fookin paid." *A 3rd chimes in* "I hate to say it but I agree with the brute."
Me- "Br-oote..Who you callin' a fookin' brute." "Now now D'wa calm down we can work thi-"
Barkeep- "What the **** are you doing over there? Talking to the friends you oh so wished you had."
Me:"Oi I already paid you..You...You.Blithering behemoth."
Barkeep- *Raises an eyebrow making a brief motion to some people standing nearby in the corner*
?- They walks over to Aldric picking him up briefly before throwing him out of the inn pushing aside people to make way for him.
Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?:
Me:*Raises an eyebrow as he glances around briefly.*
Me: "What are 'ceh doin'. Go in and 'elp 'er." La- "You can probably take them." Ma-"What are you on about, 'yeh better run before 'tey see you."
Brutes- *Look up briefly to hear where the voices are coming from and quickly notice the man crouched in a tree*
Me- "'Ehh...Well..Uhh..Suprise?"
Brutes- *Grunt as they approach the tree briefly, leaving the woman alone to deal with Aldric.*
Me-"Maybe now is a good time to find a way out of this."
'Ma-Try climbing down and explaining it to 'em. 'La- "Nononono that won't work maybe try jumping on the roof right there."
Brutes- *Look up briefly moving towards the building with the roof.*
Me-*Widens his eyes as he sees an opening, he briefly climbs down the tree as they lumber away to the building making a run for it.*
D'wa- "Hehe, 'dat a 'boi."
Aldric's Parents were quite superstitious when he was born. Calling in many signs of bad-luck as he appeared. Not only was he born on the day that his father's brother died but his hair colour was not of his parents. Although superstitious they were not heartless as they raised him. They did call in many rituals to dispel some of it over the years of him growing up. Some of these odd rituals he remembers and some can even be attributed to his odd quirks today ((The talking to himself and such)). Around the age of 7-8(Race age). They released him from their grasp in an attempt to dispell the bad mojo he had given them. So he ran far from the exile area he was born in, into the forests to grow up. ((Forgot to mention his parents were exiles themselves.)).
Even though he was seven or eight he can barely remember his parents, but glimpses of them, like, their personalities and voices. He soon started acting them out for his amusement, still confused on why they forced him out by himself. This soon led to the development of the personalities he is now burdened with. 'La is a depiction of his father, brave but cautious. 'Ma is a depiction of his mother Frank and caring. Last of all there's D'wa who comes out in situations of stress, fear, or need. D'wa is more of created to help aldric survive and hopefully to fight back the other personalities he's stuck with.
Soon he made it to civilization and began to learn customs and such to function in a civil world. All those years of solitude had taken a toll on him though, he spoke poor common-tongue and didn't function well in society. Not to mention the fact of lack of nutrition forced him into a frail body. He had come to deal with his situation and is trying to adapt it as of yet. He has managed to stave the fighting voices into his head, only coming out in stressful situations where he might need help. Sometimes the voices help but sometimes they manage to make things all the more worse. ((As seen above in the two examples of rp.)). He longs to create a group that can function like him and to create a name for himself, a new name. He no longer wants to associate with the name of the people who abandoned him as a child he needed a little lee-way. To create..A house.
Hi Pizza, I'll be reviewing your app today! Sorry if this isn't on par with my other reviews, doing it on a phone with really laggy data.
Entire app looks solid, please keep in mind your character is around 19 in earth years.
Also sorry for no bold, phone, but your accepted, and will be whitelisted at noon today! (PST)
This is a good app, but you're missing a key bit in your definition of God-modding. Check the post for that. Just so you know, 23 is about 18 in human years, unless you are aware of that. Anyway, fix that small detail and you'll be accepted.
I saw the link to the page on Flex’s Skype mood. Really enjoyed Mistral, looking forward to the new server.
Why do you want to join?:
I was part of the old server, tons of fun. I feel like I broke off of it near the end. I really like how Mirai looks and I would very much like to be a part of this world.
What role-play experience do you have (if any?):
Was part of the old Mistral server, hosted it for a while. Since, I have participated in quite a bit of Skype role play and some Half-Life 2 roleplay in Garry’s Mod.
Using information that your character couldn’t have possibly known or been able to find, or using information found out by your character (IC) against people. (OOC) This could be a character finding a secret storage that he had no reason to search for, or exploit somebodies secrets that he could not have possibly known, (IC) to attacking somebody verbally because of the way that their character was built, or insulting things that they may think. (“Thats not how a De’asllo should be)
Define Power-gaming (there are technically 2 definitions, the other is also referred to as Power-emoting):
Giving a definite action towards another role-player. Definite meaning no leeway for the other person to react, if a character walked up to you, decides...
“Joseph reaches into his pocket, pulling out a knife, and quickly steps forward, thrusting it into Jamie’s chest”
Jamie has no way of counteracting to that, he already has the knife shoved so far up into him, his breath smells like steel. Lets try again.
“Joseph reaches into his pocket, pulling out a knife, he lunges at Jamie, aiming for the chest.”
Now, Jamie has some time to react, the statement that he has been stabbed is not finished...
“Jamie leaps out of the way, turning and running through an Alley.”
This way, if the person roleplaying as “Jamie” does not want his stabbed, he can retreat from that situation.
Define Role-playing:
Acting out a character, with his/her own actions, emotions, personality, usually different from your own. A few places this can be done is: In a chat room, in a story, or on a server, perhaps in a world such as Mirai.
Define God-modding:
God-Modding is when a character is impossibly powerful for whatever that character has done, or perhaps, if the character has acquired something or some Merciful Qin that was never roleplayed into existence. (Maybe a gun? or a Special knife?)
Going on to create your character, please familiarize yourself with the lore we have lovingly crafted. Please remember to keep all lore in mind while writing your character’s history, and make sure to agree to the definitions above (no power-gaming in your bio!) Also, try to avoid clichés. Gender: Male
Race (pick one of the races we have made, no creating your own): Sastrama
Character description: (describe and analyze. Please make sure this follows the lore stated for your race. Clothing they would wear on a daily basis can be included too.)
Albet is a young male Sastrama, about 5’8, with unusually pale skin for a Sastrama, light Aqua eyes, reddish-orange hair, and long pointed ears. Raised in a wealthy home in the Mother Tribe of Sastrama. Everything he knows he was taught by his father, he follows Demelka, the Sastramian goddess of the stars loosely, he was taught to, but never felt comfortable entrusting himself into something he couldn't quite understand, but he kept up a face of worship for his tribe. He has tried his best to blend in his entire life, he does not understand many regular social situations but does his best to fake them. (Which usually ends up awkwardly) Although he does not embrace the Sastrama’s set religion no Cromjin religions make much sense to him either, so he stays relatively non-religious.
Character personality: (Just talk about the character as a person for a second. What are their aspirations in life? Why do they have these? These can reference your bio. Also talk about your character and their feelings towards things, such as possible racism towards other races, hate (or love) for organizations, et cetera.)
Albet is a quiet, conformed person, very sheltered since birth, quite awkward and is always looking for some sort of confirmation to whatever he does, which he does not get. He likes to read, as it does not have to include another party. He would very much like to create a life, but does not want to be in charge at all, as he has no experience with it. Albet’s trip has him seeking to make his father proud, and complete his... Rite of passage, if you will. He adores the Cromjin, who he sees to be a proud strong race, not held back by stereotypes or social barricades. (I plan to develop Albet’s personality as the roleplay progresses, making him more outgoing, less conformed.
Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?:
Albet is a fairly awkward character socially, he is a weak fighter, and does not have enough confidence to barter (I hope to change this as I develop the character in roleplay) Albet would try to decline paying again, stating that he had already done so. For a while, I would assume Albet to be poor, and not able to pay twice for something. if the barkeep persists, or becomes aggravated, Albet does not have the physical strength to fight... well, anybody. (Although if he got in a fight I could use it as some sort of “Ahh, he wanted to fight back! Join the army! one of the few Sastrama” except, of course, with less cliché.) He would eventually end up with the barkeep accepting that he will not pay double, get in a fight, or, of course, pay twice for his drinks.
Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?:
Albet would not be able to fight the mugger, or he would be far to scared, he would most likely wait until after the mugger has left to check on the woman... cautiously, of course, and chose his words wisely to hope that she doesn’t realise that he was watching the entire time. If the woman was hurt he would do his best to help, finding some way to treat the wound and help her to some sort of medical facility. Generally, he would help as much as he could, -after,- all threat to him, had left.
Albet Hansson Lived a generally easy life, his father was a noble in his tribe, who had earned much wealth in his time. Albet lived and learned under his fathers wing, a child who had not learned about the world around him, didn’t have to, his father took care of him. Albet had always been very sheltered, made to stay home most of his days, reading or writing, he was never able to learn to be social, and became a very isolated individual. Albet was taught everything he knew from his father, along with the usual things (Reading, Writing, Math, Agriculture, medicine) he was taught about the Sastrama’s main goddess Dalkrama, goddess of the stars. Although he loved looking into the night sky, (The shape of the constellations fascinated him, not necessarily the supposed god behind them) he had never found a reason to believe in the gods he was taught about.
On Albet’s sixteenth birthday, his father confronted him, telling Albet that it was time to go on a... well, trip. Albet was sent away from the house, to learn about the outside world, to learn about the different societies and the different people that there is to find, and return once he had made a name for himself. Of course, being kicked out of the house, he was angry, but he had known that it was coming, it was tradition on his fathers side to send the eldest brother to go and find themselves with other people, choose their own path. That night, Albet left home, with a small straw satchel filled with a single change of clothes, and food and water that he would find to last him three days. He had learned enough from his time wandering, following the stars to find his bearings from the sky, he stole a map, stole a light bow from a nearby shop, along with a quiver and a fistful of arrows, and made his way (He was leaving anyway, figured he wouldn’t be caught) and made his way out of the city through the moonlight.
Edit: Bolded Section Titles. Sorry about that.
Hey cheese, good to see you!
Sorry for short review again, it takes likes two minutes for my text characters to pop up.
Your app looks great! one thing I would adjust is that your character has a current earth age of 11 years old.
otherwise approved, liked the elaboration and you'll be whitelisted at noon!
I'm sorry If I sound a bit unfamiliar but... Would a Sastrama actually not bealive in their God? When I read the Lore I thought they would be the ones more faithful to their religion plus it could be taken as a limitation too. Having a character with a lot of knowledge, that young and without any limitation such as a religion like the Sastrama's one? I would say a person with such capacities would be at least half of his life already lived or more? Sorry If I question your thoughts, I didn't really ment to but its just something I thought

Characters and their personal beliefs honestly come down to the character's mentality. If they were raised in a situation where they believed in one god but were introduced to another and they as people decided to worship the other god, that's up to them.
Extensive knowledge of religion comes down to how the character was raised and what their personal thoughts are of other religions.
TL;DR: No religion is right nor wrong, and character's basic knowledge of that religion comes down to their personal thoughts/beliefs. Hope this answered your question!

Also how can someone learn agriculture or medicine just by reading? And is he going to have a bow since the beginning? Does he even know how to use it? I think those points are, somewhat, messy to me. But well, I'm not the one who review apps.

Sorry if they're a bit confusing, we'll try our best to update lore and the thread over time after release. Feel free to ask any questions you have, though.
By reading you'll most likely learn the techniques of agriculture and medicine, but not necessarily how to do it. A combination of both reading and hands-on experience would be the the best way for your character to learn.
You will start with minimal weapons training of any type, and a bit of money to start off with. You can spend this money as you see fit, and train to become more proficient at using a weapon (like a bow).

How do you proceed?: Kaedos steps over to the barkeep, handing him a few coins and requesting another drink. Kaedos quickly downed the drink after stepping away from the bar and left without causing a commotion.
Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?: Kaedos quickly darted his vision about, seeing if anyone would come in his stead. As no one was in view, he quickly hopped down from the tree and ran to assist the woman. Kaedos ran up behind the person, kicking at their knee. The kick landed and the thief lost balance. Kaedos quickly pushed the thief down and put his boot over the wrist of the hand holding the knife, quickly wresting it from the thief. Soon after incapacitating the thief, Kaedos sent the woman to grab a guard.
This is a decent app, but there's a couple of things you need to fix:
Your RP examples are too short. These need to be at least 5 times as long as what you put.
You're missing a key piece in your god-modding definition, reread the post for what you need.
Other than that, your app is acceptable, although the backstory is slightly generic. Fix the points I mentioned above and you'll be accepted.
Looks good, accepted, and will be whitelisted tomorrow at noon PST!
As for your question - we're selling a couple of stalls in Weyrest to sell and store your goods at. Otherwise, you'll probably have to invest in a chest to put your goods in.

Oh...
Thank you for telling me that, I shall go re-read the time stuff and update.
Hello there Andweyful, my name's Liamade and I'll be reviewing your app!
I've looked over your app in full and cannot find much wrong with it at all honestly. I enjoyed how you kept your character down to earth, he has an interesting personality and I can't wait to see what sorts of situations that can surround him. You are accepted! You will be white listed and able to join at noon PST! Happy holidays -Liamade
This is a decent app, but there's a couple of things you need to fix:
