Welcome! This is our fantasy role-playing server! Our mission as a team is to bring the masses the best role-playing experience possible while still considering players and their suggestions and needs. We hope we’ve created an immersive, functioning world for you all to role-play in. In order to accomplish this goal of ours, our team has worked for months, preparing everything from lore on Mirai, the world, to the reason for grass on the ground. Now, without further ado, let us go on to discuss other things…
To explain the extensive lore myself and my friend Liamade have crafted, we have made an open google document for you people to view! Please do some reading here – only the basics are listed, and we do require reading for our application to join. Thank you!
The server economy is a unique one primarily thanks to our use of currency. You’ll find no /pay, /balance, or any sort of plugin to handle money or currency at all on this server. Instead, our currency depends on what region you’re in, and what currency that race uses. All currency is player-handled and not admin spawned past the small sum you receive when you first join. After that, you’re free to trade and earn money with other players as your character sees fit!
There are many different jobs for you to take up on this server in order to earn just a little bit more money. Under this section you will also find a spoiler which I will (attempt to) keep updated with what jobs are currently available and unavailable on the server. Here’s a list of some jobs that you’ll see:
Farmer – A simple sounding job, but satisfactory and most likely one of the most important. Controls the primary food supply for the city as well as trading with vendors, bakers, and warehouse workers who export the goods the city produces.
Smith Apprentice – Unless a smith position is open, blacksmith apprentice will most likely be the job open. This is important due to the blacksmith creating all weapons and armors for the town, as well as fitting horseshoes and repairing tools that would otherwise require metalworking.
Fisherman – Just as important a job as farmer. Controls food supply for the city as well as controls trade with vendors. In terms of fish, at least.
Miner – Also a relatively unimportant sounding job, but is in fact quite the opposite. Controls the mines, which is a primary export for the city and a source of money. Miners generally make good money from their mining endeavors and trading, but are known to disappear in the mines from days to weeks at a time.
Barkeep/Bard – Barkeep and Bard are under the same category due to them having different albeit similar jobs. Barkeep handles the local inn(s) and serves drinks and food for its patrons. A bard entertains the aforementioned patrons with music and earns his pay through the barkeep or tips.
Vendor – A virtually unlimited amount of these are needed. These include everything from stall owners to shop owners to people who wander around the streets, selling their goods from door to door. Vendors sell all sorts of things, from mining supplies to food to even general oddities and knick-knacks.
Warehouse Worker – A warehouse worker generally works in the local trade union underneath the local government. These workers handle incoming shipments from boats in the harbor and process exporting transactions. Makes most of the money for the city, and is a very prosperous job when business is good.
Banker – Handles all loaning, banking transactions, withdrawals, and deposits in the local bank. Earns a lot of money, and is a primary economic factor. Requires a thorough background check and good organization to keep the place running.
Guard – A city guard protects the city and its citizens from anything that dare harm it. Has to endure rigorous training day and night. Has a close trade relationship with the blacksmith and food vendors. Also requires a background check and an oath to join the force.
Faction Member – A rather unpredictable job, as you get to decide which faction you wish to join. Many factions have been around for longer than others, and some are more trustworthy than others. That, however, is for your own character’s judgment…
There are many factions present currently in the Cromjin border city of Weyrest. Please keep in mind that this does not include any small player-created groups, and only stands for significant groups discovered through role-play. Please keep in mind meta-gaming of this information is punishable.
The Mages Guild
Founded by ancient Lylur scholars, the Mages Guild was most likely Weyrest’s central purpose when it was founded under Lylian rule. However, after the city had been abandoned, only the guild remain standing. Rumors state that magic had prevented its destruction, while others believe that it was simply lucky. Whatever the case may be, the Mages Guild still exists to this day, and serve to be a very influential faction indeed. The Mages Guild is the only publically operating guild within Cromjin borders and that is (barely) permitted under Cromjin rule.
Exactly what the mages do inside is uncertain, but some outsider observations include practicing the art of controlling and casting magic, performing as scholars and scribes for the city, as well as protecting the region’s only remaining well.
The Mages Guild typically does not judge based on race or racial stereotypes, as well as gender. The only thing the Guild requires is a readiness to learn, as well as aptitude to endure the rigorous energy training the job requires.
The Cromji Empire
Founded in 19.7.D by Alrien of Cromji, a Cro conqueror and the first Cromjin emperor. The empire is operated where it was founded – The Cromjin capital city of Cromji, hence the name. The Empire operates based on its emperor, yet there are a few restrictions. The emperor is restricted by a set of rules drafted by Alrien himself to limit the amount of power the throne holds. From there, a council taking its seat within the very same capital dictates what decisions the emperor makes for the nation through vote. The branch of the Cromji Empire represented in Weyrest is an extension of the Empire. They mostly regulate trade and order in the city, and deliver any orders from the capital to the town directly through means of public speeches. Joining usually involves the same duties as a guard, except that you report loyally to the Empire to serve her and her needs.
There are four primary races on Serin, three of which have major governments. Below is a list of the races, and their general descriptions as well as types of government. Keep please the below in mind while making a skin and crafting your character. Please also realize that while we do allow crossbreeds of CERTAIN races, we do not allow all races to breed together for various reasons. Please consult a whitelister if you have any questions.
Cromjin
The Cromjin are a proud race hailing from the inner regions of Serin. Their appearance is usually simple, having shorter and dark hair and lighter eye colors such as green, blue, and light grey. Their skin color varies based on what region they live in. Generally believed to be an “all around” race, generally the Cromjin can do anything they put their mind to. Cromjin society has dictated for years that magic is taboo, particularly those within the main religion. This doesn’t necessarily stop Cromjin’s from becoming mages, but keep in mind the repercussions from your own people…
Lylur
The Lylur’s origins are uncertain, but most outsiders know of them from the great region known as the “Sacred Forest” in eastern Serin. This region is known for being dangerous and dark the further you get into the forest, trees ranging from the size of bushes to the size of small towns. Ancient tribes of Lylur line the inner forest, continuing their sacred traditions of hunting and foraging passed down from eras ago. The tribes are very reclusive however, and rarely come in contact with outsiders. The Lylur that players play as are “exile” Lylur – those who have been given away at birth to pilgrims in the forest or bred from 2 other exile Lylur. The Lylur have a very specific appearance. While their skin tone and weight can vary, they generally are a couple inches taller than the average Cro. Their hairstyles and hair lengths vary, but their hair colors usually remain more earthy colors, taking on shades of green, brown, grey, black, and bleach blonde. They also have elongated ears at the tips, which are commonly pieced with wooden fragments if you’re a tribal.
De’asllo
The De’asllo are a proud, loyal race and are more commonly referred to as “Mist-Men.” The De’asllo are almost wolf like in appearance, with dark, greyish skin, shriveled noses, sharp teeth and pointed ears, and most prominent, their glowing yellow eyes. Their government operates off of a 3-way monarchy founded in the western jagged peaks of Serin. The De’asllo are also most likely the most troublesome of all the races, having a knack for beginning bloodshed and causing chaos in general.
Sastrama
The Sastrama are calm, collected, and peaceful race. They hold no quarrels with any other race, and tend to avoid war. They have no real set homeland, they wander Serin moving from land to land. They worship their god Delkmara, the goddess of the stars, which they believe shows them the way across the world. They tend to be medium sized around 5” to 6” and have tanner skin, light blue eyes, and red hair, and large, pointed ears. The most defining feature of this race is their acquaintance to ritualistic and traditional healing magic. Due this feature the Cromjin tend to keep a close eye on them, making sure they don’t get out of hand.
While we’d love to have you on as soon as possible, there’s a couple of rules we’ll have to go over first. Please make sure that you have thoroughly read the entirety of these rules before attempting your application!
General Rules
No meta-gaming. Out-of-character meta-gaming, or OOC meta-gaming, is performing hateful actions towards a person out of character due to what has happened in-character. Usually this is shown in some form of spite. An example is, let's say Bob and Todd role-played. Bob killed Todd's best friend in-character through legitimate RP. Todd, out-of-character, now refuses to role-play with Bob's character because Bob killed his best friend. Be sure to give an example of this in your application. The IC definition for meta-gaming, and the most common method of meta-gaming, is using information gained out-of-character in-character. For example, let’s say you hid a key in your house, and someone is looking for that key. It would be meta-gaming for their character to know where the key is based on an OOC conversation you had earlier with another person.
No power-gaming, also known as power-emoting. This, in definition, is where you force an action in role-play onto another player. A popular example of this is when in RP combat. You cannot say, *Rakidor slits the man’s throat.” This is considered power-gaming, due to the fact that Rakidor did not give the other person a fair chance to respond or combat the action. A more appropriate response would be, *Rakidor attempts to slash at the man’s lower neck.* The “attempts” gives free reign for the other player to either disallow or allow the blow. This is fundamental to keep RP combat fair and fun.
No god-modding. This is when you genuinely make your character unrealistic in scope or do unrealistic things. Chances are, your character won’t be the “savior of the land” and the “demigod of the ages”. No, you’ll most likely be an average Joe. Are we saying you can’t achieve these things through proper RP? Of course not. It should also be mentioned quickly that to ensure you have read all the rules, put the phrase Merciful Qin somewhere in the middle of your god-modding definition. But immediately after you spawn you mean to say you do 10 flips backwards and stab all of the assassins on the streets at once? That’s a problem, and it’s not allowed on this server. Please keep your character realistic to what their experiences have been in the past.
No placing of blocks or destroying of blocks. This is important to maintain the wonderful map we have and keep it beautiful for new players for the months to come. I have custom permissions set for exactly which blocks players can place and destroy – most of which are determined by job. (For example – destroying and planting of crops for farmers, destruction of coal ore and iron ore for miners, et cetera.)
Please no bugging admins or staff members persistently. If you need help from a staff member, please try to refrain from posting on the thread, and PM a moderator in-game. They will attend to your needs.
No abusing commands. This includes spam of any command.
No abusing chat. This includes chat spam, and derogatory speech towards others (includes racism, sexism, or just hate in general).
Please keep chat relatively clean. We allow swearing in role-play, and to an extent out-of-character, but please keep in mind others and their personal beliefs about the matter. Final word, occasional use OOC is okay, use in-character (if the situation calls for it) is also allowed. Don’t go overboard.
No sexual or erotic role-play. Please, if you insist on doing anything like it, please do it in a skype chat or something. We staff members and frankly the rest of the server don’t want to see your fantasies shoved in our faces.
When prompted for combat in-game, it depends on the situation. If you’re training with another person, use RP combat. (/me attempts <action>, turn order.) If a bar fight breaks out or something similar, player-choice. For arena-style situations or any large-scale battles, resort to PvP. If introduced to a murder or assassination-style situation, contact a staff member to oversee it first. There must also be consent between the other player, or some sort of resolve to make it work.
Do not pester staff to add a plugin or a feature. If we think it’s necessary, we’ll add it.
Please keep appropriate chat… well, in the right chat. If you’re confused, PM a staff member or ask in global.
Please keep in mind stealing is only allowed if in role-play. Keep in mind to always /me these actions, not to power-game, and deal with the punishments if you’re caught. It also has to be realistic – finding a singular rare gem in a bag of large common gems in a bag is not realistic.
You must also give the thief who pickpocketed you the correct item that they successfully stole from you.
No stealing more than 10 currency at ANY given time
For reference, the chat channels are:
/ch g for Global OOC
/ch l for Local RP (main RP)
/ch y for Yell RP
/ch w for Whisper RP
Be respectful to other players. If they ask for help, help them to the best of your ability, and generally be professional.
Please keep role-play and your experience on the server professional. The occasional OOC conversation is perfectly fine, but we want our RP experience to be quality. This means trying your best at role-play, being mature.
If you want two (or more) characters to be related, you must create a family thread on here before you start playing those characters. Family threads must be created in the Family Applications sub-forum.
Well, and have fun, of course!
Follow and agree to these rules in the application, and you should have no problems on the server!
The main requirement to join our server is our application. We a representation of what you will bring to our community through your app. Keep in mind how we make our first judgment of you! There’s a couple of tips I wish to go over before you complete your application.
Make sure you have thoroughly read the lore and the server rules! These are a required read. I also recommend you skim over the locations located below the application and the factions listed above. Race lore and descriptions is also a required read.
Our expectations with your application is that you tried your best, read all of the things we have told you to, and been generally professional and mature about the whole thing. If you follow the guidelines and they meet to our standards, you’ll be on the server in no time at all!

While we want you on as soon as possible, there’s a couple things we recommend you download first to enhance your role-playing experience.
The first of these is the recommended resource pack, Conquest.
While this certainly isn’t required, it allows you to emote and expand your skins such as making your character taller, stubbier – whatever the case, MPM most likely has it for customization. Just don’t mess with it too much.
Please keep in mind that you have to submit an application, have it reviewed and accepted before being whitelisted to come on.
Also keep in mind that until December 13th, 2014, the server is closed. However, applications are open, so feel free to submit an app now. For a countdown, click here.
I will be applying soon, starting to read the Lore Document, very long, so I will apply soon, hopefully, so far it is incredibly interesting. And I love it a lot!
How did you find us?: I saw you in the server section of the MCForums, and love RolePlay, so I decided to check it out
Why do you want to join?: As mentioned before, I love Roleplay, albeit I have not played using RP for long, I find it extremely intriguing and entertaining. Also the server seems to have been worked on very hard, as in your lore, even if you say it is not done, is quite extravagant. You seem to have worked on the server for a long amount of time, and I like it when servers actually work on themselves.
What role-play experience do you have (if any?): Once again, I do not have much Roleplay experience in MineCraft or out of it. I have played on 1 or 2 servers to do Roleplay. The 1st one I only joined because a friend of mine needed help with his roleplay and did not have enough players. I had no idea what was going on, but all I could think of was 'This is so much fun!' The 2nd server was not what I was expecting, not many people actually Roleplayed, instead just used OOC chat a lot. Also that server allowed ERP. Not a fun experience.
Definitions: Please give a full description of each IN YOUR OWN WORDS. You will be expected to abide by these definitions on the server. You giving these definitions is a way of showing us you understand them and agree to follow them in role-play.
Define Meta-gaming (keep in mind there are two types, OOC and IC): The OOC definition is using the knowledge you gain in-character, Out of Character. For example, you use it to harass someone. The IC definition is using Out of Character knowledge In Character. An example of this, being born in the Sastrama race and knowing a lot about other races such as the Cromjin, and understanding their rituals and religion and such.
Define Power-gaming (there are technically 2 definitions, the other is also referred to as Power-emoting): Using un-realistic powers/abilities/roleplay scenarios In Character. Example: "Isthill flies into the air while shooting out darts of fire from his blow gun" <- Admitted kind of exaggerated, but could not think of anything else.
Define Role-playing: Roleplaying is when a person or a set of people create a scenario in which you must act as someone else, and live through scenarios in the scenario, like real life but a bit more fun!
Going on to create your character, please familiarize yourself with the lore we have lovingly crafted. Please remember to keep all lore in mind while writing your character’s history, and make sure to agree to the definitions above (no power-gaming in your bio!) Also, try to avoid clichés. 7'1" | Chocolate Brown Skin | Long Grey Hair Hidden Under Hood | Purple Coloured Eyes | Somewhat Built | Pointed Face | Pointed Ears Protruding Out Of Hood | Usually Wearing Clothing Given To Him By Parents | Dark Grey/Black Coat, Trousers, Hood | Half Sleeves | Straps On Chest And Back To Place Weapons (Brown) | Brown Boots | Dark Grey/Black Face Mask, Covering Nose And Mouth (Not Always Worn)
Character personality: (Just talk about the character as a person for a second. What are their aspirations in life? Why do they have these? These can reference your bio. Also talk about your character and their feelings towards things, such as possible racism towards other races, hate (or love) for organizations, et cetera.) Yggdrisill wants to travel, he loves nature and wants to see new nature. He enjoys nature because him, his sister, and their parents lived in the forests near Serin in the Cromjin Territory. He loves his family, but disagrees with his parents beliefs in staying in one place. He is somewhat of a troublemaker and a rebel. Yggdrisill does not like following the rules, and takes after his elder sister in his love for travel. He loves magic, and therefore dislikes the Cromjin government and religion. Yggdrisill has tried many times to learn magic, but has always failed. However he does not want to join the Mages Guild due to the fact that he does not know exactly what happens in there, he is afraid they might do other things than teach him magic.
Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?: I remain calm and ask to speak with the barkeep privately, so as not to annoy others in the bar. I tell the barkeep that I have already paid in full and that he must have forgotten. If the barkeep does not believe me, I then ask anyone in the bar if they saw me pay for the drink, if there are enough people in there to sing along to a song, I am pretty sure there would be someone to witness me paying for the drink.
Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?: I run down with my sword sheathed and hidden underneath my cloak (I usually wear these at night). I than attack the mugger, by jumping on him/her, surprising the mugger. Than, I try to disarm the mugger and if that does not work, I unsheath my sword and attack, I do not go for fatal injuries, just enough to disable him/her from being able to evade my capture. I than capture the mugger and turn him in to the guards/police.
Character biography: (Please consider the lore we have written and include it somehow. DO NOT WRITE HISTORY OTHER THAN YOUR OWN. Unless given specific permission by an admin, your character has not had a large impact in continental history. Please give more than 2 paragraphs, and put some effort into your background.) Yggdrisill was born off in a large forest near Serin, in the Cromjin Territory. He was born as an Exiled Lylian, for his parents, Aether and Shisna, were both exiled as young children. Before him came his elder sister, a tall, beautiful girl, whose hair almost touched the forest floor. Yggdrisill was a young handsome lad, who grew to be a handsome man. But before that, when he was just a babe, his ‘training’ started. His sister, Yndriis, believed that he should be taught in the ways of the forest and battle. Yndriis was fifteen years older than Yggdrisill. They loved each other, and would always be together, for there was no one else to be with except their parents. As Yggdrisill matured, Yndriis taught him more, and learned herself. They would often explore the forest, and fall in love with it again and again. One day, as they were traveling through a part of the forest which they had never discovered, they founded a woman reciting some odd language to a man who seemed to be deathly afraid of her. They watched, as the woman told the man she meant him no harm, and then procured a flower out of thin air. The man screamed and ran, as if his life was being threatened. Yggdrisill was in awe of the woman who procured the flower, but Yndriis was not as happy. She lead Yggdrisill back to their camp, and sat him down to teach him of their ways.
Yndriis described what it was that Yggdrisill saw. She called it magic, and told her it was forbidden to practice it. Yggdrisill did not know why, but he did not question his elder sister, for she knew more than him. However, in his mind, Yggdrisill knew he wanted to learn more of magic, and he knew his sister would not enjoy the fact that he would want this, so he stayed quiet. After his sister finished with her lecture, she left him to go hunt for food with her father. At this time Yggdrisill wanted to find the woman and ask her of this magic, and to ask her if he could also learn. Sadly, he did not find the woman ever again, but he still wanted to learn magic. After years of trying and failing to even do a small amount of magic, he gave up. He knew he could not learn how to do it, thus stopped trying.
More years passed and Yggdrisill became fascinated with something new. The world outside. His parents did not want him to leave them, and even tried to forbid him, but he did not want to listen. One night, while his parents were asleep, he wrote them a note and left, off to his newest adventure. But he forgot one thing, what about his sister?
I totally agree, and see how that would be unfair. I would like to know however, how one could eventually earn themselves into a sort of bloodline/ royalty within the server.
In the island where the RP will be set at the start, there is no royalty present. This would sort of apply to the rule about overpowering your character, we're not gonna let people turn up, make their character royal, then just give them a palace on a mountain somewhere. Mineghost has the right idea, it would be acceptable for you to come from a royal backround elsewhere, but you wouldn't have any authority over the places that you'll be playing in. Eventually you could be promoted into a higher position within the society but it's gonna take time. Gotta work your way up.
Thats what I thought, thanks for the help! I was just curious who the royals are/ how they can be obtained. It was a slightly bad question on my part. I'll be applying soon!
Cool. In the future we're gonna be adding maps from other parts of the continent, so you might have a shot there. Maybe we'll run an event with a visiting emperor from the capital. Just speculating. See you soon.
How did you find us?: I found you in the servers forum, the post looks very professional and interesting, so I'm going to give this a try.
Why do you want to join?:
Well, I've been playing Minecraft for over four years now, and have yet to find a quality RP server. I've been on a few, but most are just say they are "RP" servers, and are not the real deal. I like the idea of a fantasy/ medieval type of RP server, and the Lore/ background sounded very interesting with all of the races/ factions. It seems like you have put quite a bit of work into making this server as good as it can be, and from the pictures I see above it looks like something very special. It's not very often you find a server (not to mention an RP server) that has had some dedicated work put in, for the best experience possible. From what I've read in your descriptions, etc. I think this server is what I have been looking for, for quite some time, and (hopefully) look forwards to experiencing it first-hand myself.
What role-play experience do you have (if any?):
As I said above, I have played a few RP servers, but they were not high quality whatsoever. I know how the aspect to roll-play works and all, and I really find the description of the mechanics, etc. Very intriguing. I have not seen many RP servers that go this far back in time either, which makes it even MORE intriguing to me.
Definitions: Please give a full description of each IN YOUR OWN WORDS. You will be expected to abide by these definitions on the server. You giving these definitions is a way of showing us you understand them and agree to follow them in role-play.
Define Meta-gaming (keep in mind there are two types, OOC and IC): In my opinion, Meta-gaming is using information that your game character does not know, to your advantage to give yourself and advantage of some sort. For example: If My character was not supposed to know a treasure chest was at a certain location, and it was told in the lore, info, etc. And I go to the chest without taking the proper steps to finding the location to the chest with my character, that is meta-gaming.
Define Power-gaming (there are technically 2 definitions, the other is also referred to as Power-emoting): Power gaming is when one focuses on only one skill/ aspect to a game for a long period of time. If it was the real world, and you just spend your whole time swimming for example, this would be seen a somewhat odd. If I were to focus JUST on magic on the server, and absolutely nothing else, all the time, that would be sort of like Power-gaming.
Define Role-playing: Roll-playing is when one takes a roll of another person. In a way it is kind of like acting, but you get to make the decisions of that person for yourself, reasonably speaking. One must stick to the background information when roll-playing a character such as attitude, personality, etc.
Define God-modding: When someone's character has the ability to do almost anything they want, without really any boundaries or limits. It's kind of like going out of character/ not following the rules of the "play".
Going on to create your character, please familiarize yourself with the lore we have lovingly crafted. Please remember to keep all lore in mind while writing your character’s history, and make sure to agree to the definitions above (no power-gaming in your bio!) Also, try to avoid clichés. (Parents died, revenge, et cetera.)

Name: Rawyn
Age: What would a reasonable age for a Sastrama Nomad be? I would personally like to make my character around 20-30 but, just want to make sure it makes sense with the lore.
Gender: Male
Race (pick one of the races we have made, no creating your own): Sastrama
Character description: (describe and analyze. Please make sure this follows the lore stated for your race. Clothing they would wear on a daily basis can be included too.) | Approx. 6'4 | Peach Skin | Moderately Long Black-Hair | Blue/Blackish Eyes | A Soldier Build | Rounded Face | Rounded Ears (Normal) | Wearing a suit, bearing a dagger upon it | Red and Grey Suit | A place for the dagger upon his back | A Grey Ribbon Going Across His Chest | Large Black Boots | A Red Cloak (Not always worn) for when in stealthy situations | Broad Muscular Shoulders |
Character personality: (Just talk about the character as a person for a second. What are their aspirations in life? Why do they have these? These can reference your bio. Also talk about your character and their feelings towards things, such as possible racism towards other races, hate (or love) for organizations, et cetera.) Rawyn, is an adventurer who is most usually friendly to most of his fellow Sastrama citizens. However, he despises crime done towards himself or of his people. When coming to the continent of Serin, he saw many places which his mother ship passed, and he urges to venture out to these places someday. Traveling to Serin, he grew to have more trust within himself. He however, does not fully support the decisions that the "Mother Tribe" makes for the Sastrama citizens, and vows one day to change the rulings that have been placed upon them. Rawyn is typically neutral towards other faction's and their members. However, if a member of another factions gets on his bad side, he will hold a grudge against the other opposing faction as a whole.
Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?: I would most likely just pay again, and not try to cause a commotion. However, if things did start to get intense I may go on the offence and counter his claim that I had not paid for my drink. Rawyn does hold grudges again people the displease him, so this may come back to haunt the barkeep...
Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?: I would quietly climb down the tree, and approach the crook. I would then knock him out (Using some sort of offensive magic) and heal the woman with my Healing powers that the Sastrama people are known for. I would then pick up the crook, and turn him into the Council (If there is one) of the mother tribe.
Character biography: (Please consider the lore we have written and include it somehow. DO NOT WRITE HISTORY OTHER THAN YOUR OWN. Unless given specific permission by an admin, your character has not had a large impact in continental history. Please give more than 2 paragraphs, and put some effort into your background.) Rawyn is a member of the Sastrama faction, who was born in and has traveled from the motherland, to Serin with his fellow Sastrama citizens. Being born in his motherland and being from Sastrama, he does not have very much knowledge of what exists outside the Faction territory of Sastrama, and wishes to travel the land, collecting goods that are not available in his mother faction. He has two younger sisters Phia, and Saga, and an older brother, Waardolf. The rest of his family decided to stay on their long-lost island off the coast of the North-West, and have presumably died along with the island. Waardolf took care of him, and his two younger sisters while growing up, often off being a merchant and roaming Serin, collecting good in which Rawyn had never seen before. Thus influencing his ambition to roam the continent of Serin himself one day...
Rawyn has seen quite a bit of what he hears is called "magic" for healing purposes around his factions. He saw a man struck by lightning in an open field in North-West Sastrama. A Sastraman mage then quickly came up to the man, and healed him with some sort of Clerical power. Magic greatly intrigues Rawyn, and is another thing he wished to master in the realm of Serin. Rawyn, is considered unique for his race, as he does often hold grudges for actions taken against his factions, his family, and himself. He is not always the "Peaceful Type" Sastraman are said to be, and is a defender of the Sastraman people.
When he turned about twenty, he learnt that his brother had been killed by an anonymous assassin, with no explanation or clue to why. This made Rawyn devote himself to traveling the continent (and the planet of Mirai if need be) to find this assassin and kill him. Rawyn's Sisters will go on to make great achievements in the world as well, but that is for another time, another story.
If it turns out any of my story does not fit into the background/ lore of the continent please notify me and I'll change/ modify it if need be, thanks!
Pardon any misspellings or errors in this draft, I did not have a great chance to revise it yet, and will do so if need be.
Can you explain how the server will begin, in a nutshell? Will there be infrastructure, or..
We're gonna kick off with an event, which is yet to be revealed. We hope to have as many jobs filled as possible for the start. We'll obviously give some time for everyone to find their workplaces etc, but right now we're still setting up the launch. The amount of people joining will affect how we continue.
Thats what I thought, thanks for the help! I was just curious who the royals are/ how they can be obtained. It was a slightly bad question on my part. I'll be applying soon!
Hi -
Coming from lead lore writer, there are a couple of noble non-player organizations. However, most do not extend beyond one branch of the tree. These two notable organizations are the royal De'asllo and the emperor of the Cromjin. The bloodlines for those are rather secluded and particular, and does not tend to escape or let anyone in.
A bloodline that is technically royal and is more spread are the councilors of the Cromjin Empire. Their bloodlines tend to be spread throughout the city and also allow people in... through a rather ambiguous process, if you catch my drift.
So, upon spawning, no, your character will not have any influence in any sort of royal faction. However, your character can definitely work their way up given they have enough wealth and influence in-game.
Thanks for the question, looking forward to your application!
Hi, just going to be pasting this here to end confusion - all races live to around 100 years. This generally means that 25 Earth human years would translate to 30 of one of our races. There just seems to be some confusion, so I'll be pasting this on the lore document as well. Thanks!
Thanks! And I actually applied as ZElXeo because this account is a little glitched for me, and wanted to get a new one anyways. Thanks for the reply, and I may take some of that information into account for my game character as well!
Ah - not a problem, we'll be getting to your app shortly! As I said, there's still some ironing out happening in the reviewing process throughout admins, but when we're done yours will be... well, the second we'll get to!
Thanks for being patient, and not a problem - please let us know if you have any more questions or concerns. (this applies for all you, by the way.)

Alrighty, thanks for clearing that up, I have updated my post with the age that I want my character to have. So anyways, thanks and waiting for your decision! Also good luck on the server!
(Parents died, revenge, et cetera.)
IC:
Name: Yggdrisill
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Race (pick one of the races we have made, no creating your own): Lylur (Exiled Lylian born from 2 other Exiled Lylian)
Character description: (describe and analyze. Please make sure this follows the lore stated for your race. Clothing they would wear on a daily basis can be included too.)
Hi Crazy - I'm going to be reviewing your application today.
Now, before we go on, I have revised the application form to include god-modding. If you could edit your definition for this into your application, that'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Meta-gaming definition:
Your meta-gaming definition was good, and hit mostly what I wanted.
Please consider expanding it a bit however, as it could use more depth. Why don't we meta-game? Give examples, et cetera.
Power-gaming definition:
This definition is slightly less correct. Remember, power-gaming (also power-emoting) is the forcing of an action upon someone. You essentially summarized god-modding, which I realize my mistake for not originally having this on the application form, and I apologize for any confusion.
Please revise your definition. A better example would be, "/me shoots a dart, piercing the man's heart in a single swoop." How it should be if you were not to break the rule of power-emoting, it would be "/me attempts to shoot a dart at the man.", along with going into some more specifics.
Role-playing definition:
While your role-playing definition is fine for our purposes. Role-playing generally is you and other people all creating characters with ambitions, goals, and different moral perspectives as they're placed into a scenario with lore and rules for what the character can or cannot do. From here you essentially play in your characters mind and through their life.
You do not need to revise this, but please keep the definition I gave above in mind while role-playing.
God-modding definition:
You will need to add this in your revision. This is by no means your fault, and I apologize for the confusion! Be sure to look at the rules in god-modding so you fill it out correctly, however.
Name:
Good, but a little cliche, as it plays on some Nordic mythology spelling tropes. Nothing too bad, but perhaps consider a nickname for your character to go by so people don't have to call him "Yggdrisill" every time they want to mention him.
For reference as a lore writer, Lylur exile names tend to follow Cromjin names, which generally include typical fantasy-style names.
Description:
There are a couple of problems here you'll have to revise. Also ensure you have an appropriate skin for the server!
Lore states Lylur are only a bit taller than Cromjin on average. This generally is from 6 to 6"5, so you'll have to revise this based on the lore.
Lore also states that purebred Lylur have pure green eyes. This includes the whites of their eyes, the iris', and the pupils. Please consider revising your eye color to this, as it has lore significance.
Personality:
Good! This area does not need revising. It could have been a little more clear (clearly has ambitions for magic, however does not favor the mages guild, et cetera.)
RP Example #1:
Very well done and well thought out for your character. This will not take revising.
RP Example #2:
This one will take a little more revising than the first. Please keep in mind this RP example is a little more prone to weed out definition-breaking. Please keep in mind your character most likely would have difficulty performing such combat maneuvers, and instead favor the whole "attempts" situation displayed by power-emoting.
Please revise this based on what I mentioned above. You have the right idea, but the idea that your character jumps from the tree onto the man, then slashing at him is a tad unrealistic. So, consider revising while considering the definitions. Thanks!
Biography:
This (for the most part) is good. It clearly gives Yggsdrisill something to discuss in role-play about his past, while keeping most role-playing definitions in mind, as well as lore in mind. I would personally love to see maybe more history on your character, however. After he left his parents, did he find anything? Did he have any traumatic experiences that shaped his character after he left?
Consider expanding on and revising a bit. This is just to flesh out your character a little more so you have a better in role-play! What's already there is good, but please consider adding some more of what he did, but keep in mind to not break the definitions you agreed to and not give him any personal items besides some money, food, and the clothes on his back.
Consensus:
Your application was good, but could use revision in some areas. I mentioned these above, but the primarily fall under some misunderstanding of the definitions. If you need full definitions to what we're expecting, please see the rules section, as they are paraphrased there. Below is a list of the things we will expect to see in your revised (and resubmitted) application! Thank you!
Expanding of the meta-gaming definition
Correcting and expanding on the power-gaming definition
Give the definition of god-modding
Give a nickname (not required, but recommended)
Description needs to be altered to cater to lore a bit more. Otherwise it looks good!
Please rephrase the second RP example while keeping in mind your character and their personal abilities as well as the definitions. Perhaps reflect on the mental decisions happening in his mind?
And finally, please expand on your biography a bit. This is only for your own good when you jump into RP, and your character has something to talk about! Based on your characters ambitions, maybe illustrate an example of why he doesn't like the Mage's Guild. Did he have a bad experience with one?
Thank you for applying, you have unlimited retries until you fix what I mentioned above!

Character biography: (Please consider the lore we have written and include it somehow. DO NOT WRITE HISTORY OTHER THAN YOUR OWN. Unless given specific permission by an admin, your character has not had a large impact in continental history. Please give more than 2 paragraphs, and put some effort into your background.)
Yggdrisill was born off in a large forest near Serin, in the Cromjin Territory.
In the island where the RP will be set at the start, there is no royalty present. This would sort of apply to the rule about overpowering your character, we're not gonna let people turn up, make their character royal, then just give them a palace on a mountain somewhere. Mineghost has the right idea, it would be acceptable for you to come from a royal backround elsewhere, but you wouldn't have any authority over the places that you'll be playing in. Eventually you could be promoted into a higher position within the society but it's gonna take time. Gotta work your way up.
Hope this helps.
Shaka.
IC:
We're gonna kick off with an event, which is yet to be revealed. We hope to have as many jobs filled as possible for the start. We'll obviously give some time for everyone to find their workplaces etc, but right now we're still setting up the launch. The amount of people joining will affect how we continue.
Hi -
Coming from lead lore writer, there are a couple of noble non-player organizations.
Thanks!
This definition is slightly less correct. Remember, power-gaming (also power-emoting) is the forcing of an action upon someone. You essentially summarized god-modding, which I realize my mistake for not originally having this on the application form, and I apologize for any confusion.
While your role-playing definition is fine for our purposes. Role-playing generally is you and other people all creating characters with ambitions, goals, and different moral perspectives as they're placed into a scenario with lore and rules for what the character can or cannot do. From here you essentially play in your characters mind and through their life.
Your application was good, but could use revision in some areas. I mentioned these above, but the primarily fall under some misunderstanding of the definitions. If you need full definitions to what we're expecting, please see the rules section, as they are paraphrased there. Below is a list of the things we will expect to see in your revised (and resubmitted) application! Thank you!
